They two began to walk, and Aki thought about Altessa.

"Well, he's a very nice man, but also pretty gruff. He took in me and the other Chosens after the fight at Zaphias, and we stayed there for three months. After that, we all got Rune Crests so we could talk and move at our own will."

“Altessa?” he blinked course he did see the look on her face and the hesitation. Looks like she had a rough time as well as me…

“Wait…Yggdrasill died? But I saw him months ago after the fight…” Yusei looked confused, remembering when he came and caused his mini panic attack by accident and got him out of it before he would electrocute innocents.

“But at least you were able to get out unharmed, right?” he moved a few strands of her hair, “I guess we had a habit of getting knocked out and waking up in people’s houses. heh heh.” Yusei smiled.

"You can get them pretty much anywhere in Neo Domino City. It's a dueling city, after all."

"You should also get a duel disk too. They're handy for dueling on your feet, and they bring the cards to 'life', so to speak."

Aki nodded. "I remember going off to fight Yggdrasill. The very sight of him made me slip into self-preservation mode. I fought him with some others, but after he died, I... I..."

No, she couldn't say it. Not now. Maybe not ever.

"After that, I was knocked out, and woke up at Altessa's house."

“Like a picnic? No wait…I was suppose to take you somewhere…with…” Yusei put his two hands together and made a wave motion with them, “What was that again…oh! Fish! I was suppose to take you to a place that had fish and then we were suppose to come up here afterwards and I think I had a plan of candles.”

Yusei smiled, “I remember that now…I take it we had something that stopped all-…oh yeah…Yggdrasill…” he scratched the back of his head, How could I skip all that? At least I forgave him for the most part…

Yusei smiled softly, “Maybe we should have a picnic, but being up here is nice too…”

He pulled her into a hug for a moment but something was bothering him slightly, “Um…I’m sorry to ask…but…” he looked concern, “How did we get separated?” Yusei knew that Yuan saved him from the fight, but how did he get pulled away from her.
