Wasn’t happy with the plasma glow I did on my Leman Russ Executioner so I went back and redid it, now it looks more heretical.

I have found the most cruel colour Citadel sells; Dreadful Visage.

Look at her! She is gorgeous. She is a shy purple, not to warm, not too cold.

She is the shade of seductive dishwater.

Unfortunately, dishwater packs more of a punch 😩 Even regular water is more opaque than her.

But with her as my muse I set out to recreate what I wanted her to look like.

So out I bring the most trusted of shades, the underrated Druchii Violet, and the overrated Nuln Oil. Together they have a perfect rating.

But I want it to be a contrast, and less punchy.

Technically an Ultramarines successor via the Rainbow Warriors, the Space Bitches are notable for the experimental inclusion of small amounts of Space Wolves gene-seed in their Founding. They are considered genetically stable, incredibly ornery, and exceptionally stubborn. These are all considered to be positive traits in a Space Marine.

I have finally managed to paint the first batch of the Space Bitches! There are seven different colors in the scheme not counting washes and highlights, which made it more complicated than most of what I do. I still want to spray seal the models but that can wait till tomorrow. I would also like to devise a Chapter Insignia at some point.

I still have another batch to do, including a kitbashed Terminator Ancient, but I will probably do something easier for the next project.

So recently I met the friend of a friend at a party.

It came out through conversation that we both play Warhammer.

Turns out he does commission painting and offered me a great deal on my HQ models.

Here's a progress shot.

I'm thrilled.

Finally got round to starting to paint my gsc

Today I tested out my new airbrush on some old models and proxies and I have take aways.

A) The yellow citadel air paints are goopy and need to be well shaken and even thinned a little, even though they're air paints.

B) the citadel contrast paints *do* go through the airbrush, but they're pretty thin and they splatter bad if you're not careful. They're pretty messy, so they'd be great for base coating a single color model... But not a good candidate for air brushing minis in a quartered pattern like the *Howling Griffons* have. Might try the red base coating just on large vehicles, but I'm in the market for a red air paint.

Lots of free time now, so I've picked up Warhammer as a hobby.

I've chosen a colour scheme but I'm still thinking about the name of the ordo. Order of the Unbroken Vigil sounds good for now.

I've been working on my Corsair Voidscarred for Kill Team, and got done with them.

Also painted up the flamer, if anyones built this model you will notice GW conveniently only provides one of those tiny pivot pieces in the arm joint that allows you to connect the gun to the arm, so I modelled on up so now I can easily change out the guns... I can upload the stl somewhere for it if anyone needs it let me know.
