When you get over to Amiyah you take a seat next to her. You two get to talking and she starts talking about how Nate and Maddy broke up. You become curious to know when and how this happened, so you start to ask the basics like “Oh when did this happened” and “Do you have any idea why they broke up,” but you were interrupted by the man of the hour Nate Jacobs himself. He loudly says to you “Hey Y/n come dance with me right now.”

You look around to see who he was talking to and he asks again “Come man please i just need Maddy to leave” he said looking down at you. He was significantly taller than her she’s about 5’4-5’5 and he’s 6’7 but thats bedsides the point you agreed. She was never to fond of Maddy after she spread a rumor about her the first day of school, she truly had hatred for her. So you and him go out to where everyone is dancing as the song Swim by Chase Atlantic comes on.

Nate grabs you by your waist and you put your hands on his chest and say “This is only for your ex to leave nothing else so don’t get any ideas” as you look up at hims you see a smirk on his face. “Then why aren’t you stopping my hands from being on your body hm?” he asked you as he ran his hands up and down her back to her waist.

Part 1

The party

Nate is friends with your friend Amiyah and you absolutely hate him with your guts. Amiyah asks you to go to a party with her and you say yes not knowing the person you hated the most was going to be there.

When you guys arrive you head to the kitchen to get a drink while Amiyah heads to the backyard. When you get in the kitchen you see another friend of yours. "Hey, I didn't know you were going to be here." She says giving you a drink. "Yeah I got asked to come." You say back taking a sip of your drink.

You and your friend start a random conversation before Nate walks into the kitchen drunk grabbing a bottle of alcohol and walking to the backyard pushing past you and your friend. "That boy has a drinking problem." You say. "Yeah he really does." Your friend says.

After a few minutes you decide to go to the backyard where everyone else is. When you get to the backyard you see Amiyah talking to Nate who’s not even paying attention to her. You sigh deeply making a face at her. She looks at you and gestures you to come over to where she is. You take a deep breath before walking over to her.
