The Canaanites had little to no recorded belief in an afterlife however the later Hebrew peoples came to believe in “Sheol” a dark underworld or pit where the dead sleep awaiting resurrection on judgement day. There also seems to be little to no evidence of a Semitic end times myth until much later when Judaism develops into Christianity.

The Egyptians have many spirits or spiritual beings as well as a host of demonic beings often depicted as snakes which probably influenced later Hebrew and Christian demonology, these are as follows:
Afu: Lesser Gods or spirits mentioned in Egyptian texts.
Akebiu: Spirits that wail in the underworld.
Akeneh: A serpentine demon.
Akhem-Sek: A group of celestial beings thought to be the personification of stars.
Amkihiu: The souls of the dead who are granted passage on the boat of the sun God Ra.
Anhefta: A protective spirit of the underworld.
Benen: The guardian of the eighth entrance to Duat.
El Naddaha: A river-nymph and demoness who calls men into the Nile to drown them.
Henmemet: Lesser divine beings.
Hentiu: Spirits of the twelfth area of Duat.
Her-F-Ha-F: The leader of a group of spirits who attempt to capture the souls of the dead in large nets, their name means “fierce fowlers whose fingers are hidden”. Her-F-Ha-F was known to ferry the souls of the dead across the rivers of death and may be related to the Sumerian ferryman Urshanabi.
Hert-Nemmat-Set: A female spirit who resides in the fourth pit of the eleventh area of Duat and punishes the damned.
Hert-Sefu-S: A female spirit who resides in the fifth pit of the eleventh area of Duat and punishes the damned.
Kefi: A guardian of the tenth area of Duat.
Kha-A: A spirit that carries a bow and resides in the tenth area of Duat.
Khaibit: The shades or ghoulish spirits of the dead.
Khnemiu: Four divine beings wearing red crowns found in the eleventh area of Duat.
Maa-Ab: A guardian of the sixth area of Duat.
Mates: A demon who inhabbited the Sheni of the underworld and tore out the hearts of the damned.
Men-Sheta: A spirit personifying the hidden aspects of the Occult or magic who resides in the seventh area of Duat and was depicted as bending over a staff.
Metes: A guardian of the eleventh area of Duat.
Nebt-Khu: A guardian of the eleventh area of Duat. She sits upon a snake with one hand raised over her face. Nebt-Khu never moves and lives on the voices of snakes that spawn from her feet.
Nehata: A spirit that utters words of power in the underworld to restore life to Osiris. Nehata resides in the ninth area of Duat.
Nehebukau: Nehebukau was said to guard the entrance to Duat and was known as the one who caused the binding of the Ka (vital life spark) and the Ba (soul) initiating death. Nehebukau was depicted as a two-headed serpent. When seen as a snake he was seen as having magical power over snake bites and by extension over venoms such as those of scorpions and was therefore sometimes depicted as a son of the scorpion Goddess of healing and protection Selket, this may mean that Nehebukau was invoked to cause death or in attempts to heal poisons magically. As a serpent connected to the life spark and soul Nehebukau could be a form of Egyptian kundalini/serpentine energy mystery.
Nemi: A guardian of the tenth area of Duat.
Ni: A spirit with two bird heads who helps raise up the sun from the underworld each day, Ni carries a paddle and resides in the twelfth area of Duat.
Pai: A guardian of the twelfth area of Duat.
Qebhet: The personification of cool waters said to be a daughter of Anubis.
Senenahemthet: A serpentine demon.
Setcheh: A serpentine demon.
Setheniu-Tep: Four divine beings wearing white crowns found in the eleventh area of Duat.
Set-Qesu: A demon whose name means “crusher of bones” and who occupies the hall of judgement known as Ma’ati.
Stefiu: Four divine beings who occupy the tenth area of Duat and hold the serpent God of chaos Apophis prisoner in chains.
Tcheser-Tep: A serpentine demon.
Thethu: A serpentine demon.
Ufa: A serpentine demon.
Urshu: Spirits whos name means “watchers” likely related to the Sumerian Igigi and later fallen angels.
Wtennu: The spirit of heaven.

The ancient Egyptians were a civilisation that began in Egypt, Africa, the culture was founded when migrating African tribes settled along the fertile banks of the river Nile instead of crossing the Red sea into Saudi Arabia or across the Mediterranean sea into Europe as other tribes had done, the early Egyptians settled by the Nile and began raising crops and animals, they were in contact with the Mesopotamians who taught the Egyptians their style of clay brick buildings, since the Sumerian builders were already building Ziggurat pyramids they may have influenced Egyptian culture to the same ends. The Egyptian lands were devided into “Chem” or “Kemet” - “The Black Lands” of Lower Egypt at the mouth of the Nile so named because of deposits of silt giving it rich black farmable soil while the surrounding desert of barren sand known as Upper Egypt were “Deshret” - “the Red Lands”. Despite that “Deshret” refers to the Upper Red Lands, the ruler of Lower Egypt wore the red “Deshret” crown (pictured right and central within the image) while the ruler of Upper Egypt wore the white “Hedjet” crown (pictured right and then left within the image). When the two lands were combined into one kingdom the crowns were fused to a Pschent (double crown pictured to the right) in ancient Egypt this crown of the united lands was known as the “Sekhemti”. The crowns were often depicted on Pharaoh’s and deities, in particular the Deshret red crown was initially worn by the falcon-headed God Horus but was also associsted with Wadjet, Sais and Neith while the white Hedjet crown was associated with the darkness and chaos God Seth.
NOTE: There seems to be some debate (even in the images provided) as to which crown fits with which area, I am inclinded to present the information above as acedemically accurate however I will attest that it is my personal belief that the white crown belongs to lower Egypt and the red crown to upper Egypt since it makes sense for the Deshret crown to be matched to the Deshret lands.

-The mystical third eye of ra is here equated with early Egyptian nueroscience obtained by splitting open brains and recording the innards symbolically to gain greater knowledge of how the organ works. Above is shown the vulture deity Nekhbet and the Uraeus serpent both of whom are connected to the mystical third eye of the sun God Ra.

The Mayan creation myth is translated from their ancient writtings in a text called the “Popul Vuh” which describes their cosmology which can be sumerised as follows:
The world was without life only the sky and sea existed but both were empty. The text goes on to say there were “makers in the sea, together called the plumed serpent” (“plumed/feathered serpent” refers to the God Quetzalcoatl) and that there were “makers in the sky, together called the “Heart of Sky” and that these forces, Quetzalcoatl and Heart of Sky planned to create life, between them they raised the land up from below the oceans creating mountains to separate the land, sea and sky, The Heart of Sky made animals; mammals and reptiles and then birds, the heart of sky asked the animals to pray to them but the animals could not talk and so were designated as food to eat. Attempting to make more intelligent life the makers then made a body of mud which talked but looked grotesque and crumbled away in the rain. Because they could not create the beings they desired the Heart of Sky called on the wise ones or diviners the grandfather God Xpiyacoc and grandmother Goddess Xmucane who suggest making and animating wooden carvings instead. These wooden people could talk and multiply but their minds and hearts were empty and they do not revere/serve the Heart of Sky and thus the Heart of Sky devised a flood and killed them all in rain that lasted many days and nights, the animals came into the wooden peoples homes and ate them and the text goes on to state that the wooden peoples resembled monkeys suggesting that they were primitive men. Following this the Heart of Sky and Quetzalcoatl make eight human beings (four male and four female) out of yellow and white corn or maize which formed the modern humans who could talk, multiply and worshiped the Gods thus the Maize plant became sacred to the Mayans as a sign of the ancestor and united them in their new agricultural society focused around growing maize instead of being just a tribal hunter gatherer structure. The Heart of Sky and Quetzalcoatl are pleased with their creation however they are disturbed by mankinds spiritual spark or “perfect sight” and they choose to then cloud the vision of man to keep mankind subservient.
While it is known that the Mesoamerican cultures may have had contact with the Egyptians in later history (evidenced by mummies burried with cocaine) it is rather disturbing to draw the parallels between the Mayan cosmology and those from other cultures who supposedly had no contact with one another. For instance just as the Sumerian myths state that the Earth and sky were formed by the Gods out of the great sea of Tiamat and seperated by the mountains so too do the Mesoamerican, Egyptian and Semitic myths concour with their own version and just like the Anunnaki had filled a barren world with crops and animals so too did the Heart of Sky and Quetzalcoatl. The creation of mankind out of clay or mud parallels the Semitic golems and stories of Adam and Eve, the Egyptian clay forms of Khnum and also the Sumerian myth of the Anunnaki making beings from clay wombs as well as their first failed creation - the Igigi. Once again there is a great flood myth sent by the Gods to destroy the failed creation with exact parallels to the Sumerian and Semitic flood myths and also the failed and rebellious creation of wooden people could represent the blackheads/dark race or the igigi. Finally like the myths of God in the Hebrew Bible who confounds mans language and prevents man from achieving immortality and like the sumerian anunnaki who seek to make human slaves, the Mesoamerican Gods are disturbed by the “perfect sight” of their creation - their own divine essence, and so seek to “put fog into the eyes of man” clouding their vision and keeping them enslaved.

Now having explained the formation of the early material, gasious, liquid and energetic physicality of the universe we must next look to explain the formation and origins of life and the sentient creatures that inhabit our reality. One theory called panspermia suggests that microbial lifeforms, spores, seeds and eggs may have traveled across space carried within meteorites or of their own volition. Grass may be an example of this as it did not exist prior to the meteoric cataclysm that occoured during the time of the dinosaurs, likewise octopi and squids have been shown to have such a vast genetic signiture or genome comparative to other earthly lifeforms that scientists theorise that they may be of an extraterrestrial source perhaps being carried frozen or as eggs within ice meteorites which allowed preservation and then rapid thawing and energetic jumpstarting when impacting our world. Some even believe that sentient alien lifeforms may purposefully direct the seeding of planets with particular lifeforms or microbes in order to seed or terraform other worlds. While panspermia is an interesting theory on how life spreads and develops across the universe it does not explain its genesis or origins.

Water Birth, Word, Cleanse
The first mention of water in scripture is found in Genesis 1:2 and the last mention is found in Revelation 22:17. In between those two books water flows right through the pages of scripture. This should teach is that there is a great spiritual significance to it.
Water speaks of physical (or natural) birth In Genesis 1:20, we read of the first mention of life, and this life comes from water, “…Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life…”. This thought is again repeated in the New Testament in John 3 when Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews is asking questions of Jesus. In verse 5 we read, “Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.” Notice here, the water birth (physical) comes before the Spirit birth (spiritual). We see the reality of this when a woman is in labour and the baby is about to be born. We wait for the ‘waters to break’ which surround the baby until birth. We cannot be spiritually re-born until we have first been naturally born.
Water speaks to us of the word of God In Ephesians 5:26, concerning the church we read, “That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word.” The Psalmist in Psalm 119:9 writes “Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.” Reading the Bible has a cleansing effect on the reader. Christians would do well to sit and read, study and meditate together on the word of God. In the Tabernacle in the Old Testament, we read in Exodus 30:18 that Moses was to make a laver of brass and put water in it. This was to be situated between the Tabernacle and the altar. The priests were to wash their hands and feet in this when they went into the Tabernacle “that they die not”. They needed to purified. The Lord was telling them that they constantly needed to have their feet cleaned. We see a picture of this in John 13. The Lord Jesus washes the disciples feet. They were already washed, but needed their feet washing.
Consider the words of verses 9-10 “Simon Peter saith unto him, Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head. Jesus saith to him, He that is washed needeth not save to wash his feet, but is clean every whit: and ye are clean, but not all.”
Note that Lord (v14) then tells the disciples that they ought also to wash each others feet, “If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another’s feet.” It seems to me that this is a future instruction, as at this point their feet were clean. Surely, spiritually speaking, we wash each others feet through reading the word of God. That’s why the Lord said in John 15:3 “Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken to you.” In the Christian life, we all need to be purified from the filth of this world, we all need our feet cleaned.
Water speaks to us of the purification of the Christian This is really linked to the previous consideration, but the following verses are interesting to ponder on. Concerning the nation of Israel in a future day, the following words are recorded in Ezekiel 36:25
Ezekiel 36:25  Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you. This is a promise from God for a time when Israel returns to Him (see vs 24-38). However, there is also clearly an application here for the sinner who comes to Christ when we compare this verse with Hebrews 10:22
Hebrews 10:22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Water speaks to us of spiritual life In Genesis 2 we read of the perfect conditions of the garden of Eden. This garden was watered by a river (v10). Without water, the garden would have died, as plants, animals and humans cannot survive without water. It seems to me that this river is a beautiful picture of the life that Christ gives to His children through the Spirit of God. Consider the following verses that speak of this:
Exodus 17:6  Behold, I will stand before thee there upon the rock in Horeb; and thou shalt smite the rock, and there shall come water out of it, that the people may drink. And Moses do so in the sight of the elders of Israel. Isaiah 12:2-3   Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation. Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation. Isaiah 55:1   HO, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. Jeremiah 2:13   For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water. John 4:14   But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. John 7:38-39   He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given: because that Jesus was not yet glorified.) This water   is the everlasting life that we enjoy now in Christ. That’s why the scripture says in 1 John 5:12 “He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.” Without water there cannot be life: Without the Lord Jesus Christ, there cannot be eternal life. It’s interesting to me that the greatest expanse of water in the world today is the sea. The sea in scripture is a fascinating subject and one we can’t go into here. However, I would encourage you to look at the references and you will see that the sea often speaks to us of restlessness and tribulation (See Matthew 14:22-33, Mark 6:47-52, John 6:15-21, Note, in all of these passages, the seas were calmed by the Lord Jesus. When we follow these thoughts through, we read those lovely words in Revelation 21:1
Revelation 21:1  AND I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.“ No more sea in Heaven, no more restlesness, no more tribulation, all calmed by the Lord Jesus Christ forever. However, although there will be no more sea in Heaven, there will be water, eternal water that flows forever.
Revelation 22:1-2  AND he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were  for the healing of the nations. There may be other spiritual types for water that I haven’t considered, but the above are the ones that spring to mind. I’ll leave you with the final reference to water in the Bible found in Revelation 22:17
Revelation 21:17  And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

Reincarnation - Its True
reincarnation, also called transmigration or metempsychosis, in religion and philosophy, rebirth of the aspect of an individual that persists after bodily death—whether it be consciousness, mind, the soul, or some other entity—in one or more successive existences. Depending upon the tradition, these existences may be human, animal, spiritual, or, in some instances, vegetable. While belief in reincarnation is most characteristic of South Asian and East Asian traditions, it also appears in the religious and philosophical thought of local religions, in some ancient Middle Eastern religions (e.g., the Greek Orphic mystery, or salvation, religion), Manichaeism, and gnosticism, as well as in such modern religious movements as theosophy.
In many local religions, belief in multiple souls is common. The soul is frequently viewed as capable of leaving the body through the mouth or the nostrils and of being reborn, for example, as a bird, a butterfly, or an insect. The Venda of southern Africa believe that, when a person dies, the soul stays near the grave for a short time and then seeks a new resting place or another body—human, mammalian, or reptilian.
The Hindu deity Krishna, an avatar of Vishnu, mounted on a horse pulling Arjuna, hero of the epic poem Mahabharata; 17th-century illustration. READ MORE ON THIS TOPIC Indian philosophy: Development of the notion of transmigration The hymns may, in general, be said to express a positive attitude toward human life and to show interest in the full enjoyment of life here… Among the ancient Greeks, the Orphic mystery religion held that a preexistent soul survives bodily death and is later reincarnated in a human or other mammalian body, eventually receiving release from the cycle of birth and death and regaining its former pure state. Plato, in the 5th–4th century BCE, believed in an immortal soul that participates in frequent incarnations.
The major religions that hold a belief in reincarnation, however, are Asian religions, especially Hinduism, Jainism, Buddhism, and Sikhism, all of which arose in India. They all hold in common a doctrine of karma (karman; “act”), the law of cause and effect, which states that what one does in this present life will have its effect in the next life. In Hinduism the process of birth and rebirth—i.e., transmigration of souls—is endless until one achieves moksha, or liberation (literally “release”) from that process. Moksha is achieved when one realizes that the eternal core of the individual (atman) and the Absolute reality (brahman) are one. Thus, one can escape from the process of death and rebirth (samsara).
Jainism—reflecting a belief in an eternal and transmigrating life principle (jiva) that is akin to an individual soul—holds that karma is a fine particulate substance that settles upon the jiva according to the deeds that a person does. Thus, the burden of the old karma is added to the new karma that is acquired during the next existence until the jiva frees itself by religious disciplines, especially by ahimsa (“nonviolence”), and rises to the place of liberated jivas at the top of the universe.
Although Buddhism denies the existence of an unchanging, substantial soul or self—as against the notion of the atman it teaches the concept of anatman (Pali: anatta; “non-self”)—it holds to a belief in the transmigration of the karma that is accumulated by an individual in life. The individual is a composition of five ever-changing psycho-physical elements and states, or skandhas (“bundles”)—i.e., form, sensations, perceptions, impulses, and consciousness—and terminates with death. The karma of the deceased, however, persists and becomes a vijnana (“germ of consciousness”) in the womb of a mother. The vijnana is that aspect of consciousness that is reborn in a new individual. By gaining a state of complete passiveness through discipline and meditation, one can achieve nirvana, the state of the extinction of desires and liberation (moksha) from bondage to samsara by karma.
Sikhism teaches a doctrine of reincarnation based on the Hindu view but in addition holds that, after the Last Judgment, souls—which have been reincarnated in several existences—will be absorbed in God.
4 Types of Generational CursesPublished by

In the ministry of deliverance, one of the dynamics we need to be aware of is generational curses. There’s no formula, but I have seen that for some people, the key for their breakthrough, healing, or deliverance, was to be set free from the strongholds and curses that were passed down through the family line. The following is an excerpt from my book, Keys for Deliverance:
A generational curse is an example of a root beneath the surface that produces bad fruit above the surface. A generational curse is simply a curse that is passed down from one generation to the next. Just like we receive an inheritance of physical traits from our parents, we also receive a spiritual inheritance from our family line. This includes both blessings and curses. One of the foundational Scriptures for this is Exodus 20:4-6:
You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.
The iniquity of parents is visited upon their children. To be clear, this does not mean that children are charged with guilt for the sins of their parents (see Deuteronomy 24:16 and Ezekiel 18:19-20). However, the sins of parents do have an adverse effect upon their children and open the door for similar patterns of sin. When parents—who are meant to provide spiritual protection for their children—walk in iniquity, idolatry, and sin, children are left more vulnerable to the enemy’s work. As the sin of Adam and Eve passed on to their offspring, so our sinful tendencies can pass on to our offspring.
4 Types of Generational Curses
There is no exact list of the different kinds of generational curses, but based on Scriptural examples and real-world experience, I have listed four basic types. There can certainly be overlap in some of these, but the distinctions might be helpful in identifying when there is a generational stronghold at work.
1. IDOLATRY/THE OCCULT
The Exodus passage quoted above speaks specifically about the sin of idolatry. Idolatry relates to the worship of anything other than the one true living God. This can happen in the traditional sense of the worship of physical idols, but idolatry is much broader than this. The Bible speaks of setting up idols in the heart, and also equates covetousness with idolatry (see Ezekiel 14:3 and Colossians 3:5). Even good things can become idols if we allow them to take the place of God. We are to ascribe to God the highest worth and give Him our love and devotion above all else.
Another specific type of idolatry is involvement in the occult. We will look more extensively at this topic in chapter 12, but any type of involvement in the occult is equated with idolatry. It is seeking to gain from evil spirits what we are only meant to gain from God. Many types of participation in occult practices and secret societies require you to take oaths and curses, and even commit your children to these curses.
Idolatry and occult involvement is an iniquity that is visited upon the family line and passes from one generation to the next. These curses can take the form of an overshadowing darkness over a person’s life, unexplainable sickness and pain, a drawing to spiritual darkness, or other destructive patterns.
2. SINFUL PATTERNS
Have you ever wondered why some people are prone to certain sins while others are not? There are various factors that can influence this, but one of them is generational curses. Sinful strongholds that are not broken end up being passed down to the next generation. If there is a pattern of sexual sin in your family line, this may be a bigger battle for you than for others. If one of your parents couldn’t conquer uncontrollable anger, you may find that you are also prone to outbursts of rage. The same could be said of worry, greed, unbelief, pride, or various other types of sin.
We can see examples of this dynamic in Scripture. While Abraham is considered the father of the faith and had a tremendous walk with God, he had his sins and flaws like the rest of us. One time he used deception to protect himself before a king, asking Sarah to lie about being his wife and to claim only to be his sister. What is fascinating is that Abraham’s son, Isaac, fell into this exact same trap. And then we know that Isaac’s son, Jacob, had a problem with using deception. We can see that this pattern of sin was passed from one generation to the next.
To be clear, we can never blame our parents or previous generations for our own choices and sins. We must take responsibility and repent where we have sinned. But being able to identify generational curses and strongholds can help explain why we battle certain sins more than others and can help us get free. We can receive deliverance from sinful strongholds and any evil spirits that are attached to them, and we can begin to walk in the blessing of God. What we conquer, our children will inherit!
3. DESTRUCTIVE BEHAVIORS AND FAULTY MINDSETS
Similar to sinful patterns, destructive behaviors can be passed through the family line. You can often see cycles of harmful tendencies going from one generation to the next. Suicidal inclinations and self-harm can go from parents to children. Abuse of all kinds can end up passing through a family line for generations. Addictions to alcohol and drugs can run in the family. Patterns of marital breakdown and divorce can be traced through a lineage. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy; and he not only wants to lay hold of individuals, but also to get a stronghold in whole family lines.
Destructive generational behaviors can usually be obvious to identify, but faulty mindsets can be subtler. For example, religious strongholds of legalism and traditionalism can be passed down. Consider Stephen’s rebuke to the religious leaders of his day: “You stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears! You always resist the Holy Spirit; as your fathers did, so do you” (Acts 7:51, emphasis added). There was a generational resistance to hearing God’s voice and allowing the Holy Spirit to work. There were traditions passed from one generation to the next which opposed the work of God, even though they were religious in nature.
Mindsets of condemnation, perfectionism, skepticism and unbelief, judgmental attitudes, and other unhealthy strongholds can flow through the family line.
4. PHYSICAL/MENTAL SICKNESSES
One of the first things that doctors do is check into your family’s medical history. They know that certain types of diseases have a tendency to pass on through the family line. But what they may not recognize is that this pattern can actually be a spiritual problem, not just a genetic one. While not every sickness is the result of a curse, sickness, disease, and mental torment are all included in the list of curses that are outlined in Scripture (see Deuteronomy 28:20-22, 27-28, 58-61). Deuteronomy 28:59 speaks specifically of plagues coming upon “you and your descendants”, showing the generational impact.
Diseases such as cancer and heart disease; mental health issues of depression, bi-polar disorder, and anxiety; problems with barrenness or miscarriages; these can all be passed through the family line and be inherited. God’s heart for His children is never for sickness, disease, or mental torment to afflict them. His heart is to bless and to heal, but the consequences of the Fall and the personal sins of people have opened the way for all types of destruction and death in the world. Being aware of the reality of generational sickness and disease should not scare us, but equip us to receive healing if what we are dealing with is a generational curse.
I remember leading a middle school student through deliverance several years ago. He had dabbled into some occult activity through reading books connected to witchcraft and was experiencing torment. He was delivered from several demons as I prayed over him, but what is amazing is what happened after the prayer time ended. He lifted his head up and began to look around the room with a startled look in his eyes. He had been colorblind but was now seeing in normal color for the first time. It turns out that colorblindness ran in his family, and through the process of deliverance the generational curse was broken and he was healed!

Beelzebub — Gluttony
Sathanas/Satan — Wrath
Belphegor — Sloth
Peter Binsfeld 1500 during the witch trials, he wrote a piece called “Of the Confessions of Warlocks and Witches,” which contained the alleged confessions of witches obtained through torture.  This piece listed demons he believed to be the Lords or Princes of Hell.    According to Binsfeld, the seven deadly sins were each one was a demon.
PRIDE - Lucifer, who represented the sin of pride, the original and most serious of the seven deadly sins.   Lucifer, the fallen angel. His overwhelming pride led to him believing that he could rule heaven, and so, he was cast out and demonized when his rebellion was unsuccessful—The ever-present reminder of the dangers when one allows pride to overcome them.  Some consider Lucifer to be the ruler of the seven princes, these accounts often believe Lucifer and Satan are the same individuals. Other classifications who don’t agree see Satan as the figurehead of hell, an entity separate from Lucifer. They even sometimes replace Lucifer with another fallen angel figure, such as Azazel.
GREED - Mammon, translated “mean money.”   He was personified as the demon of greed in numerous pieces of art and literature, and classified as one of the princes of hell, who would enslave those who were driven by greed and the accumulation of wealth.   At times, Mammon can be confused with Beelzebub, and though they both can be seen as demons of greed, greed and gluttony aren’t necessarily the same thing.
LUST -  Asmodeus, who represented the sin of Lust. Most of what we know about Asmodeus comes from the book of Tobit, as well as some other Talmudic stories such as the Construction of the Temple of Solomon. Many saw his role as spreading lust through the land, from common people to kings and queens—nobody was safe.   In the book of Tobit, he fell in love with a woman named Sarah and prevented her from marrying anyone else, causing her 7 husbands to die before the marriage was consummated.  Tobias who would later marry Sarah placed a fish’s heart and liver over some burning coals, so the smell would repulse Asmodeus avoiding Tobias being killed by Asmodeus. Asmodeus was later be bound by Raphael.  In the Talmud and the Testament of Solomon, Asmodeus has numerous encounters with Solomon, and mentions Asmodeus marrying Lilith and taking her as his demon queen. His is depicted as a part-man part-animal hybrid. The Cabala describes him as a Cambian half human/half demon his mother, a Succubus and his father, King David.
ENVY - Leviathan, which represented the sin of envy. He was responsible for punishing those guilty of envy, by swallowing them whole. Leviathan was also often seen as representing the gates of hell.  In Anglo-Saxon art, the entrance to hell was seen as the gaping mouth of a monster known as the Hellmouth or the jaws of hell.
GLUTTONY - Beelzebub, the lord of gluttony.  He can be found in numerous civilizations and religions. In the Testament of Solomon, he is a fallen angel often associated with Lucifer. He doesn’t necessarily have a particular domain, he just behaves in a generic demonic manner, causing men to worship demons and turn on each other, succumbing to lust, jealousy, and murder—just an all-around troublemaker. In the book Paradise Lost, Beelzebub is a fallen angel who along with Astaroth is second only to Lucifer in terms of hierarchy. He is also known as the lord of flies or the lord of fliers, which refers to his ability to fly.
WRATH -  Satan, the lord of wrath.  He was thought to lead Christians astray.   Malleus Maleficarum (1487AD) a paper was explaining that all sorcery was rooted in the work of Satan.   Satan was always depicted as pitiful and repulsive, with no real power until the witch trials of the middle ages that gave rise to fear and churches stopped focusing on worshipping God but eradicating Satan.
SLOTH -  Belphegor, the lord of sloth. He is the chief of laziness, using manipulation and deceit to get out of work and responsibilities.  Belphegor takes on many forms to convince his victims into doing his bidding. He convinces seduces and manipulates humans into working to become rich and once the human is done,  the wealth and esteem are snatched away by Belphegor.

Devil Suffered the Seven Sins
PRIDE - Believing what you have is a result of your effort not gift from God Lucifer's fall from Heaven was the result of his pride
ENVY - Wanting what other people have Lucifer wanted to have the Garden of Eden that God gave Adam Adam and Eve were able to have children and Lucifer was not (Angels can’t reproduce)
LUST - desire for sexual pleasure outside of love God made Eve and Lucifer enemies Gen3:15.  They had to be friends before they could be enemies, and if they weren’t close Eve would not have trusted when he told her to eat the apple.  Possible if Adam was out of the way Lucifer could marry Eve?
ANGER - grievance that escalates out of proportion. Lucifer was angry that angels were commanded to serve humans (go as messengers, help humans along the way.  Ps 8,  Is 14:12,
GLUTTONY- Desiring Excess (things, food, time, people, etc) Satan is trying to collect as many humans as possible to join his cause or army.
GREED: Satan wants everything, garden of eden, heaven, earth, humans, angels.
SLOTH - Lucifer doesn’t actually do anything.  He puts the ideas in humans mind and the humans do his bidding.

Angels
Spirits – Made by God in Light
What is spirit?  Spirit is non-material essence.  Merriam-Webster Dictionary shows fourteen definitions for “spirit”.  The first two are: “An animating or vital principle held to give life to physical organisms; a supernatural being or essence.”  Scientific theories regarding aether, vacuum energy, neutrinos, which some relate to “spirit”, won’t be discussed here.  This topic mostly discusses supernatural spirit beings.
God is Spirit.  Holy.  Jesus said in Jn.4:24, “God is (a) spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and in truth.”  Father God is Self-Existent spirit.  God isn’t physical matter.  No physical object or image can adequately represent God.  The Godhead or God Family is spirit essence…invisible (1Ti.1:17), ethereal.  2Co.3:17 “The Lord is that Spirit.”  The ascended Jesus is spirit at His Father’s right hand in heaven (He.1:3).  In Lk.24:39, Jesus said that a spirit being doesn’t have flesh and bones.
God is Light.  1Jn.1:5 “God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all.”  Jesus said in Jn.8:12,”I Am the Light of the world.”  cf. Jn.12:46.  The Old Testament (OT) prophecy quoted in the New Testament (NT) Mt.4:16 refers to Jesus, “The people who sat in darkness [in Galilee] saw a great light.”  1Ti.6:16 God dwells on His heavenly throne in brilliant light which physical human eyes cannot behold or approach.  (Also see the topics “Godhead in Prehistory” and “Jesus Is God…Jesus Has a God”.)
Psalm 104, written by David, is about God’s Creation.  Ps.104:1-3 Septuagint/LXX “Bless the Lord. You are very great. Who robes Thyself with Light [Ge.1:3] as with a garment; spreading out the heaven [Ge.1:8] as a curtain.”  Compare the Creation account sequence in Ge.1:1-8.  After Light was brought forth, lesser spirit beings were then made.
God makes His angels spirits.  After Light, continuing with Ps.104:4 LXX, “Who makes His angels spirits.”  The angelic order is composed of spirit beings.  Cambridge Bible “It is clear that the spiritual nature of angels isn’t in question here.”  He.1:7 of the NT quotes the Ps.104:4 LXX “angels”.
God’s heavenly host includes angels.  Ne.9:6 “You are the Lord, who has made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host. The host of heaven worships You.”  Cambridge Bible Ne.9:6 “Most probably means the created spirits.”  Benson Commentary “All the inhabitants of heaven.”  Poole Commentary “The angels, who are so called.”  Ps.148:2-4 “Praise Him, all His angels; Praise Him, all His hosts! Praise Him, sun and moon; all stars of light! Praise Him, highest heavens!”  Angelic voices on high praise the Lord.  At Jesus’ human birth, in Lk.2:13 the heavenly host was seen extolling God, “Suddenly there appeared with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God.”
Angels serve as messengers, agents, and helpers. They can make themselves visible to man as need be, appearing as humans.  The writer to the Hebrews admonished in He.13:2, “Don’t neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for some have entertained angels without knowing it.”
The Hebrew term rendered angel in our OT is maláwk, Strongs h4397.  It means messenger.  The term malawk occurs over 200 times in the OT.  It also refers to human messengers and the Messenger of YHVH.  (see “Michael in the Bible”.  The only archangel so-named in scripture is Michael, Jude 1:9.)
The Greek term for angel in the LXX and NT is ággelos g32 (pronounced ángelos).  It occurs 185 times in the NT.  It can also refer to human messengers (e.g. Ge.32:3 LXX, and John the Baptizer in Mt.11:10).
The Lord Christ shared in the Creation.  Col.1:16 “By Him [Christ the Son] all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions, rulers or authorities.”  The Creation includes the heavenly host of beings, normally not visible to human eyes.  JFB Commentary “Invisible – the world of spirits.”  Barnes Notes “The angels we cannot see. Inhabitants of distant worlds we cannot see.”  Gill Exposition “Angels were made by him, Heb.1:7; and, as the Jewish writers say, on the 2nd day of the creation, though some say on the 5th.”  Benson Commentary Col.1:16 “The different orders of angels, both those that stood and those that afterward fell.”
According to Jn.1:1-14, Jesus was the primordial Word or Logos (Greek) of God.  Jn.1:3-9 “The Word was God. All things came into being through Him [Christ the Word/Logos]…That Word was the true Light [g5457].”  “All things” included lesser spirit beings.  Bengel’s Gnomen Jn.1:3 “All things, which are outside of God, were made; and all things which were made, were made by the Logos [Jesus, v.14].”  Expositor’s Greek Testament Jn.1:3 “In 1Cor.8:6 “Paul distinguishes between the Father as the primal source of all things and the Son as the actual Creator.”  Christ the Light was Executive Creator.
He.12:9 God is the “Father of spirits”.  Barnes Notes He.12:9 “God is Himself a Spirit [Jn.4:24]. Angels and human souls [or spirits] may be represented as especially His offspring.”  JFB Commentary “God is a spirit Himself, and the Creator of spirits like Himself, in contrast to men who are flesh.”  Meyer’s NT Commentary “God, who is Father in regard to the higher spiritual domain of life.”  Pulpit Commentary “It isn’t human spirits only that are here in view. God is the Father of all ‘the spirits.”
The cherubim (plural) or cherubs are another class of spirit beings.  Telus.net: Cherubim “Cherubim are spiritual beings.”  They serve as God’s guardians.  The Hebrew term cherub (h3742) occurs 90 times in the OT.  Ge.3:24 God cast Adam & Eve from the garden of Eden, and then stationed cherubim on the east side to guard the way to the Tree of Life.  Scripture doesn’t depict cherubs as chubby human babies with wings flying around!
Ex.25:16-22 Moses was to construct the mercy-seat of God’s Tabernacle with two winged golden cherubim atop the Ark of the Testimony; there the Lord dwelt with ancient Israel.  Ellicott Commentary Ge.3:24 “The office of the cherub here is to guard the Paradise [Garden], lest man should try to force an entrance back; and so too the office of the cherubs upon the mercy-seat was to protect it, lest anyone should impiously approach it, except the high-priest on the Day of Atonement.”  In 1Ki.6–8, figures of cherubim were later carved & embroidered (2Chr.3:14) in Solomon’s Temple.  (This wasn’t idolatry.)  In the Greek NT, cheroubim g5502 occurs only in He.9:5.
Ezk.10 is Ezekiel’s vision of cherubs at the Lord’s portable throne.  Ezekiel calls them “living beings”.  Ezk.10:20 LXX “This is the living being [g2226] that I saw below the God of Israel by the river Chobar, and I knew they were cherubs [g5502].”  How did they appear to Ezekiel?  Ezk.1:1, 5 “I was by the river Chebar among the exiles. There were figures resembling four living beings.”  Ezk.1:10 “The likeness of their faces was the face of a human…the face of a lion…an ox…and an eagle.”  Compare the appearance of the four living beings (g2226), but having six wings, that John envisioned at God’s throne in Re.4:6-9…lion, ox, man, flying eagle.
Winged sphinxes resembled cherubs.  Wikipedia: Sphinx Both the Egyptian and Greek sphinxes “were thought of as guardians, and often flank the entrances to temples.”  An ancient sphinx composite had the head of a human, the paws & tail of a lion, the hind body of an ox, and the wings of an eagle.  Dr. Raanan Eichler What Kind of Creatures Are the Cherubim?: “The prevailing opinion is that the cherub is a winged sphinx…such as that depicted on the sarcophagus of the late 2nd-millennium BC Phoenician king Ahiram.”  William Finck Cherubs Are Sphinxes “A sphinx is a variation on a cherub.”
Fiery seraphim (plural) or seraphs h8314 are another class of spirit beings.  They are celestial attendant worshipers of God, having three pairs of wings.  In the OT, seraphs only appear in the vision of Is.6:1-7.
They were around the Lord’s throne, praising, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of His glory.”  Then with a glowing coal of fire from the altar, a seraph figuratively purged Isaiah’s unclean lips & iniquity.  Fire purifies.  Ellicott Commentary Is.6:2 “This is the only passage in which the seraphim are mentioned as part of the host of heaven. ‘Burning ones’…with six wings.”  cf. Rev.4–6.  Gill Exposition Re.4:8 “Cherubim…like the seraphim in Is.6:2.”  Nu.21:6-9 Moses made something like a bronze replica of a seraph, and set it on a pole to aid in healing Israelites bitten by serpents.
The watchers (Da.4:13-17, 23) were another group of spirit beings.  They are discussed in the two-part topic “Watchers and Gen. 6 ‘Sons of God”.
Also there were “24 elders” at God’s throne in heaven.  They are mentioned specifically in Re.4:4, 10; 5:8; 11:16; 19:4.  The apostle John envisioned them in Re.4–5.  Re.4:4 “Around the throne were 24 thrones. On the thrones were 24 elders sitting, dressed in white garments, with crowns of gold on their heads.”  Theologians and Bible commentators have put forth various explanations as to their identity.
The elders wear crowns of gold.  Barnes Notes Re.4:4 “These elders…are of a kingly order. They are human beings.”  In the Bible, elders refer to men.  Gill Exposition “In allusion to the 24 courses of the priests, into which they were divided by David [1Ch.24:4-19].”  Re.5:10 Young’s Literal Translation “And [the Lamb] did make us to our God kings and priests.”  They were as a royal priesthood (ref 1Pe.2:9).
Compellingtruth.com “Information in scripture most likely identifies these 24 elders as representatives of the church.”  Expositor’s Greek Testament Re.4:4 “Heavenly beings, angelic figures corresponding to the ‘thrones’ of Col.1:16. The significance of the doubled 12 has been found in the 12 patriarchs or tribes [of Israel] plus the 12 apostles, or in the 24 classes of the priests.”  Cambridge Bible Re.4:4 “They act as priests in Rev.5:8.”  The Pulpit Commentary Re.4:8 lists possible interpretations, including…“The 24 elders represent the great and minor prophets; higher angels – the celestial priesthood.”
It seems the 24 elders could be redeemed humans who are spirit beings serving on God’s council or court in heaven.  I’ll leave the choice(s) of interpretation to the reader.
[Aside: Hierarchical angelologies (and demonologies) developed over the centuries in the traditions of Judaism, kabbalah, and medieval Christianity.  That isn’t discussed here.]
God has given each of us humans our human spirit, the “breath of life” (Ge.2:7).  Is.42:5 God the Lord gives breath to people on earth, “and spirit to those who walk on it.”  Job’s countryman Elihu said in Jb.32:8, “There is a spirit in man, and the breath of the Almighty gives them understanding.”
The human spirit is a vital incorporeal component within our body which imparts consciousness and intellect to our brain.  We are a spirit, dwelling in a physical body on earth.  1Th.5:23 man is made up of “spirit, soul, and body.”
We communicate with God through our spirit.  At conversion, the Holy Spirit (HS) of God joins with our human spirit.  1Co.6:17 “The person who joins himself to the Lord is one spirit with Him.”  Paul wrote to Timothy in 2Ti.4:22, “The Lord be with your spirit.”  The HS becomes part of our persona.  1Co.3:16 “The Spirit of God dwells in you.”
At physical death, our human spirit is to “return to God who gave it”, Ec.12:7.  The dying Stephen said in Ac.7:59, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.”  (Ja.2:26 “The body without the spirit is dead…our physical body is then a corpse.  Also see the topic “Life and Death – for Saints”.)  Php.1:23 Paul said it was better to depart our physical body and “be with Christ” in heaven with a spiritual body (1Co.15:44, 50).
Jesus prepares our heavenly abode for us.  He said in Jn.14:2-3, “I go to prepare a place for you.”  He.12:22-24 dwelling in heaven are the spirits of men (righteous).  Lk.16:22 God’s holy angels will escort our spirit too, returning it to God who gave it…for His disposition and use.  Lk.16:8-9 as the “sons of light”, we’re welcomed into eternal dwellings.  Our spirit returns to the Light.  1Jn.1:5 God is Light [g5457].  Paul/Saul saw it from afar…Ac.9:3 “Suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him.”
Jn.3:20-21 those who do truth don’t fear the Light.  But the spirits of those who do evil or are unbelieving are afraid to go to the Light at death, to return to God (Ec.12:7).  They stumbled in darkness (Jn.11:10), not receiving the HS.  These may remain for a time as earthbound spirits (ghosts), stuck.
Those who believe in Jesus and repent of sin won’t abide in darkness (Jn.12:46)!  Ps.36:9 “In Thy Light, we shall see light.”  After death, we shouldn’t fear to return to God…going to the Light!  Trust in His destiny for our human spirit.  God is good (Lk.18:19)!  Medical personnel confirm numerous Near Death Experience (NDE) cases where patients saw the light.
Ja.1:17 God is the “Father of lights [g5457].”  He made spirit beings, and human spirits (and stars too).  Bengel’s Gnomen Ja.1:17 “He is the Father even of the spiritual lights in the kingdom of grace and glory.”  Pr.20:27 LXX “The spirit of man is a light [g5457] of the Lord.”  Gill Exposition Pr.20:27 “The spirit of man…was a bright and burning light at first, but through sin is become a very feeble one.”
Yet Christians whose human spirit is joined to God’s HS are able to figuratively “shine as luminaries [g5458] in the world” (Php.2:15).  Jesus exhorted the disciples with Him in Jn.12:36, “While you have the Light [g5457], believe in the light, in order that you may become sons of light.”  It’s our destiny too!
Re.22:5 “The Lord God has given them light, and they shall reign forever.”  Col.1:12 Father God “has enabled us to share in the inheritance of the saints in Light [g5457].”  Prepared by God, it is the future for our spirits on into eternity…in His heavenly Light!

Lilith Adams Wife?
Vs 18 God made Adam a partner Vs 19 God made animals and Adam names them Vs 20 Adam does not have a partner
He had a partner is Vs 18 and in Vs 20 he doesn’t have a partner.  Is it possible between vs 18 and 20 that is when Lilith was Adams partner?
Adam is formed from the dust of the ground, all alone in the world. God sees that it is not good for Adam to be alone, and so he decides to “make a helper as his partner” (Genesis 2:18).
Immediately after this announcement, God forms the animals out of the ground (v. 19). Adam names all of the animals, but among these creatures “there was not found a helper as his partner” (v. 20). Now it seems as if Plan B is put into place. In vv. 21-25 the woman is fashioned out of Adam’s side rather than from the ground in order to ensure that this helper will fill the proper role. And as Adam named the animals, he will also name the woman “Eve”—but not until Genesis 3:20.
There are many issues that early interpreters discussed relative to Eve. Here, I want to focus on just a couple of things concerning the sequence of events as we read them in Genesis.
