“I don’t understand anything”
- Maxine Bazil 16, Sophomore, FC: Danielle Campbell .
Max (Maxine) is your typical nerdy girl, quiet, and reserved. She is hardly ever seen out and about at parties, or doing anything that isn't expected of her. At only 16, Max already has her life mapped out, from college, to career. She is determined to succeed, whatever it takes.Constantly trying to better herself Max can be seen as a hard shell to crack, keeping herself reserved and quiet.Much like her older sister, Max can be classified as a loner. The label not bothering her though. The only thing Max is focused on is succeeding and graduating high school was various academic excellencies under her belt. Her determination at times can be off-putting, but she doesn't let it get her down. Being so reserved Max has never actually lived, skipping parties, and only going to mandatory school sporting events. Her fears of displeasing her self or her parents over weighing the urge to go out and live as a normal teenage girl. With the constant pressure she puts on herself, Max has never believed in dating in high school. Not thinking it was appropriate, or even logical. With that thought, constantly in her mind. Max has never dated, keeping to her self when it comes to guys. That never bothered her though, she knew that when she was ready she would eventually date, but not before she had accomplished her vast plans. Her main focus during high school is to create a sturdy background in academics. Pushing herself daily to reach her goals, the goals that at times can be hard to obtain. Max has decided that she won't let anything or anyone come between her and her future plans. She will succeed in the future she has planned. No matter what happens.

Beautiful brown eyed angel that has my heart and soul. You mean the world to me and even more. It doesn’t feel right when were not together. My love . My angel. My baby. My everything. I just have these simple things to ask. Would you never leave me? Would you never want to hurt me? Be there when I cry? Without you my world would be mush. And so would my heart too. Cause I’ve never met someone like you before. Best thing that has happened to me. Yet so young. But in my eyes with her age doesn’t matter. Only true love. My wish has been granted at 11:11 tonight. Cause I wished for you. That’s all I need. So I shall ask thee right now… Greta Hughes, will you be my girlfriend?

“Can I be an only child?”
- Justice “Jussie” Andrews 16, Sophomore, FC: Max Schneider.
Society tends to describe teenagers as three things: Moody, Unappreciative and Smartasses. Justice Andrews is most likely all of those things. He knows he fits the rebellious, angsty teenager stereotype, and quite frankly he doesn’t intend to change. His sharp tongue and dark humour help form the man he is today. Well, the man everyone thinks he is. Honestly though, as ‘real’ as he claims to be, it’s quite likely that he’s the fakest person you know. He was once, in fact, a pre-teen boy who preferred dolls over football. His monotonous voice and sarcastic attitude developed in the later months of 10th grade, over a short period of time, wherein he realised he gave less of a fuck than he originally planned. Everyone went along with the new Jussie, though. It seemed as if they almost liked this Justice. He kind of became, dare he say it, cool. He was the Judd Nelson, the Cry-Baby Walker, the Ferris Bueller of Bridgewood High. He was officially in with the it crowd.
He struggled from time to time, with hiding his old self from his peers, in fear that they wouldn’t like him anymore. He constantly had to remind himself that this was better than being a minority. That being a minority would set him back at the bottom of the food chain, and that it was better to be the predator than the prey. And sure, it worked for a while, he enjoyed his rebellious facade, but over time his walls seemed to crack. He started crying more often, and even spoke up about his interest in the drama club. But he made sure to whip himself into shape again, and patch up his walls with masking tape. He’s made sure to never go back, since. As brooding and mysterious as he makes himself out to be, Jussie’s quite easy to read. It’s not difficult to knock down his walls, it’s just that…no one’s ever really tried.

“How did I get myself into this mess?”
- Kai Andrews, 18, Junior, FC: Ruby Rose.
. Kai is one of those shy girls when you first meet her, but as you get to know her and peel back her layers she’s a really outgoing and loud girl. She likes to party and is a down low dtf type of person if you know what I mean. She likes to hang out with the guys and isn’t hesitant to tell you how she feels at most times. If she think you’re attractive, she’ll tell you. She has a sharp tongue and her mouth usually gets her in trouble. She was raised by her grandparents down Texas but moved to N.Y once she turned 15, her parents refused to accept the fact that she’s gay. She didn’t let it get to her though, life goes on. She and Tiffany became fast friends their Freshman year which will always be a bond that won’t be broken. Kai is like the brother that Tiffany looks up to, they go though the same family shit but never seem to let it bring them down. One night Kai was at a party and someone slipped drugs into her backpack then when the police came it was a wrap. Kai was arrested but was not guilty for the possession of drugs. Now Kai just wants to enjoy life with no regrets and has no care in the world as long as the police aren’t involved.

“I’m ready to enjoy life...”
- Jacquelyn Tanner, 15, Freshman, FC: Zoella Sugg.
Jacquelyn always looked up to her brother Seth. Eventually she wanted to spread her own wings instead of hiding behind him and his. She knows that its her time to shine around the school. now if only to prove and to show everyone else that. She wants to climb the social ladder and will do anything to get there.

“Only here for the fun..”
- Kris Johnson, 18, Senior, FC: Alex Gaskarth.
Kris has been song writing since he could open his mouth. He’d write songs about the weather as he walked to school, songs about numbers that would help him learn to count to a hundred, and songs that were just one word over and over again. He took guitar lessons a few years after that, and it was only then did he start seriously start songwriting. Or, attempted to start. Every song Kris loved, every album he had ever played on repeat, came from broken artists. They had divorced parents and illegitimate half brothers and awful relationships galore. Kris, however, had the opposite problem. His parents had been happily married since twenty four, he had never set foot out of his home town, and his first ever relationship ended on the most amicable terms known to man. Simply put, he was far too ordinary to be a pop punk kid. However, that didn’t stop him from trying. He’s been attempting to set up a band for as long as he could remember. He even sketched out the name:Town Ideal. Unfortunately, getting a band started was hard, and writing for a band that had yet to be started was even harder. He had a notebook, sure, with snippets of song lyrics strewn around everywhere, but Kris didn’t have anything he felt completely proud of quite yet. Since coming up with the idea for the band, Kris learned not only guitar and singing, but drums, bass, and trumpet, though that was for middle school band and nothing more. He didn’t even want to sell out stadiums (though that would be nice). Contrary to popular belief, Kris wasn’t into the music for the fame. He just wanted to create something that could make someone feel better, and made someone want to sing along. Perhaps it was time he outgrew his teenage angst stage, but the problem is that Kris never really had a teenage angst stage to outgrow in the first place. He’s never really had anything to yearn over, anything dream to attain. He’d always felt sort of aimless in his life because of that, which he supposed was a bit of a struggle, but not one he could seem to put into lyrics. He’s a laid back sort of guy, but he tends to be more trouble than he’s worth, often finding himself in mischievous situations. When he’s with his friends, you can either find him strumming idly on his guitar or pulling a dumb prank or two. It’s how he entertains himself, after all. Kris has got an awful habit of running away from his problems, and isn’t good with talking about his emotions (or about anything, really, if it doesn’t involve music or bad jokes), but he’s not a bad friend to have. He’s a good guy, he swears. At least, he likes to think so. Now if only he could find a way to write a song about it.
His only dream in life is to become a musician. His whole life consists of either listening to it or playing it. He'a known for being pretty friendly, willing to talk to just about anyone and everyone. He's had an on and off irlfriend for just over two years.

“I’m just Ethan..”
- Ethan Rucker, 18, Senior, FC: Kalin White.
Ethan was always an adventurous person, always the first kid to suggest exploring the woods, always the leader of the pack — he made every activity fun and exciting. There was the time he and some friends snuck into a construction site, started a small fire, and sat around drinking alcohol all night. (If it wasn’t for his skateboard, he wouldn’t have escaped when the cops showed up.) Or the time he stole his parents’ car and drove it to Charlotte, just to score an ounce of weed. Or all of the fights he started just for the entertainment value (and to impress his older friends). If he wasn’t out spray painting graffiti around town, he was using his “five-finger discount” on candy, beanies, or other “valueless" items (aka things he could pay for, but didn’t want to).
Most of the time he ended up getting in trouble for staying out too late or breaking the Rucker’s five-block radius rule (no leaving the five-blocks surrounding his house without parental consent), but once in a while he and his friends would get caught by the police and forced to sit in a jail cell until a parent came to pick them up. After being picked up for the third time in a month, Ethan was on their shit list — his parents questioning where he was going, what he’d be doing, who he’d be with, and when he’d be back. They were even telling him who he could and couldn’t hang out with, accusing his friends of being a bad influence. But really, it was the other way around — Ethan was the bad influence.
Wanting to get them off his back (because if they ever discovered the truth of his idea of fun, he’d never be allowed out of the house), he decided to get a job, something to show he could be a “responsible adult.” He took whatever opportunity presented itself — stocking shelves and bagging groceries at Avide, working the McDonald’s drive-thru window, bussing tables at a nearby diner. He even resorted to working at one of the old folk’s homes, reading to the elderly and playing intense games of chess. But despite actually taking his job seriously, everyone else sees him for the bad boy he is outside of work. Once something goes wrong or missing, the blame is instantly put on Ethan (even if it isn’t his fault). If he can’t hold down a job soon, his parents are going to start to put the pieces together, and then what? He’ll be grounded for life, banned from all of his friends, and worst of all, have no way to get cash to support his weed habit.

“I want my girl back.”
- Ryder Silverstone, 18, Senior, FC: Austin Butler.
Ryder Silverstone is your typical 18 year old senior heartthrob in high school, he rides a motorcycle, curses in every sentence and couldn't care less about school. His parents kicked him out to live with his uncle because of his horrible behavior and attitude, Ryder also has a secret talent of being an outstanding drummer. He's also pretty good at fighting since he's been a street fighter down in Detroit for years. He doesn't put up with anyone's crap and definitely knows how to defend himself, Ryder has always had a bad temper and distracts himself from his parental issues with sex, drugs and fighting.

“Bridgewood is more of my speed.”
- Bianca Villanueva, 16, Junior, FC: Sabrina Carpenter.
Bianca has always been the type of her to keep her head up high and she developed a strong mindset at a young age. She was involved in band, cheer, extracurricular activities and more. When she was 14, she and Damien met at a band summer camp for youth, they hit it off easily. She and Damien had been just friends for a long time but when Damien went to Bridgewood and ended up with Greta, Bianca thought she was damaged, but she and Damien started seeing each other behind Greta's back and Bianca isn't letting her feelings for him go even if he's down for being on the low. But will it last long? Not really because Bianca has her eye on almost every other guy she sees at this school.

“How could he possibly love me knowing everything I’ve done?”
- Celeste Rucker, 16, Sophomore, FC: Kylie Bunbury.
Everyone likes nice girls, especially when they’re as nice as Celeste. She’s got a smile that could brighten up anyone’s day and a laugh that’s so contagious it takes is two seconds for the entire room to laugh along with her. Celeste’s parents just love to brag about her, boasting to all of their friends the accomplishments she’s achieved. She’s received at least three solos in Advanced Choir since her first semester of the ninth grade, aced all of her classes (including her AP classes), which meant she made the honor roll every semester, and she’s even gotten the chance to be one of the only sophomores on the varsity girl’s softball team.
To any outsider, Celeste seems to be living the perfect life – but it’s really quite the opposite. She pretends like she can handle all of the weight that her obligations have put on her when she’s really crumbling under the pressure. It’s getting so hard for her to be able to study for all of her classes, get all of her homework turned in, get to practice and games on time, and still have enough sleep to maintain her health. So instead of lessening her load a bit – figuring that would only disappoint her parents as well as Ethan, she’s decided the best thing to do was find something to make her days longer.
She heard through a couple of friends who were in positions similar to hers about a little friend that helps them stay focused and stay up longer so they have enough time to study and get all of their homework done. That little friend was Speed. At first, Celeste was completely against it, but halfway through the first semester of sophomore year, she realized she really couldn’t handle all of the weight and decided just to go for it. If anyone ever knew she was using drugs to help her performance, she wouldn’t know what she’d do.

“Graduation?”
- Brian Gavers, 18, Senior, FC: Ryan Potter.
Not many people in New York can say they’ve lived a life similar to Brian’s. It’s tough never knowing your biological family. See, his mother had a problem with drugs for most of her adult life, starting her sophomore year of college. The stress of school and the sudden death of her parents, only a matter of weeks between their deaths, weighed down on her greatly. The only form of solace she could find was in heroin. She was twenty six when she found out she was pregnant and when she did find out she was pregnant, instead of doing all that she could to cut her habit, she continued injecting heroin into her body, not caring what it was going to do to her baby. Because of her nasty habit, her son was born six weeks prematurely. Instead of going home with a loving family, Brian spent just over fourteen weeks in the hospital. As soon as his body was clean and healthy, instead of going back to his biological family, since his mother was never going to be a viable parental figure, nobody knew who his father was, and his grandparents had long since passed, Brian became a ward of the state. The next few years of his life weren’t the easiest, he had many problems with his health, often getting sick and finding out he was partially deaf in one ear, and since most of the foster families that took him in were only in it for the money, he bounced around from home to home. His stays ranged anywhere from a month to a year if he was lucky, after he turned six. Quickly, Brian learned that there was only one person who really cared about him, that he could only rely on, that person was himself.
Because he never really had stable relationships with people at the moments in his life that really mattered, Brian has found it quite difficult to maintain solid relationships with his peers. There aren’t a whole lot of people who can point out exactly who Brian Gavers is. He’s always tried to live his life in the shadows, not wanting to cause an uproar or a scene as he didn’t particularly want people to notice him. It’s not that he was shy or necessarily socially awkward, he was merely an introvert and he has been an introvert since it was discovered that he suffered from dyslexia when he was twelve. Brian always knew that there was something wrong with him, he was just never educated enough to know it was a learning disorder. When the other kids were put into reading groups, Brian was always in the blue jays which was the slower reading group. All he wanted was to be was a part of the red robins, the excelled reading group. Ever since his diagnosis, his social life seemed to go spiraling downward at a very fast pace. It was like he became more conscious of everything that had to do with visual words and letters, it got to the point where he’d avoid reading and writing all together. And that was the point that his grades ran down that same hill his social life took.

“When will I be loved.”
- Lily Ross, 17, Senior, FC: Jessica Sula.
Lily and Brian. It was always Lily and Brian. It was never just Lily Ross, or Brian Gavers - the names had to be put one after the other in a particular order, otherwise no one knew who you were talking about. Lily and Brian met in Elementary School when Brian had aimed a spit ball at the back of Lily’s head, and ever since then they have been inseperable. Lily was the carefree, chilled out one, whereas Brian was the adrenaline junkie who would do anything to get a quick fix. They complimented each other perfectly. The pair were always together, whether it be in class, at lunch, at each others houses after school, or in the park on weekends. They were rarely - if ever - found without the other attached at the hip. Well, at least that’s how it used to be. Everything changed the day Brian decided to send explicit pictures of himself to a young lady he fancied. However, he accidentally clicked on another contact. Lily’s.
Lily didn’t mind all that much, to be honest. She found it hilarious if anything. She tried to tell Brian that, she tried to explain that he shouldn’t feel embarrassed. But Brian just wouldn’t let up. Day in, day out, it was all they ever talked about. It was as if everyday was simply a repeat of the last; Brian constantly apologizing and stating how embarrassed he was, followed by Lily explaining to him that she honestly didn’t care, then they parted ways for class, only to wash, rinse and repeat when they met up for lunch. At first, Lily thought it was a short-term thing. She thought Brian would get over it soon, and that they would go back to normal. Except he didn’t get over it, things didn’t return to normal and soon enough they had drifted apart all because of a stupid dick pic. Now, Lily and Brian’s friendship is just a memory and Lily’s world has been flipped upside down. After all, what’s a dynamic duo if one of them wanders off?

California knows how to Party.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
July 23, 2015 - August 6, 2015.
Location: Los Angeles, CA. @ Rented Beach House.
Luis decides to rent a beach house in California for 2 weeks since they are out of school but things don’t go as well as you think when everyone begins to go wild once they arrive. Luis and Charlie plan a few parties in which drinking is involved so he gets drunk with Charlie and then accidentally outs himself at the party when he kisses Charlie in front of everyone.
Greta is eager to have her first time with Tiffany after she gets the go head from her brothers to do so but Greta asks for advice from Nathan on what to do because she doesn’t want to mess up anything or to ruin the mood. Later on that day, Greta gets into an argument with Luis when he tells her that she shouldn’t do it because she needs to stay in a child’s place and be a kid which Greta decides to disobey and runs off with Tiffany to a part of the beach where they think they can have “Privacy.” Greta is seen taking Tiffany’s shirt off of her and telling her that they are alone and they won’t get into trouble for doing it. (Sex part is taken into DMs.) Later on, Greta is seen telling Khouri about how it was and Tiffany, who is still trying to process it in her mind is just amazed about how good it was and then gets confronted by Nathan who begins going off on her for doing it.
The kids are faced with a visit from the police when they’re questioned about someone robbing a man on the beach which a disorderly Lux is involved in but she wont speak to to the police so then they have them apart of an investigation. Lux then tries to convince the man she meets to drop the whole thing if she has sex with him.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
For the first time in a long while, Bridgewood and Luis Hughes are having a student break trip, going to the beautiful beach located in California! This trip is not guided, with visits to places such as Six Flags and more, but you will have ample opportunity to go explore the city on your own. This is an opportunity that you don’t want to miss.
OOC INFORMATION: The trip will officially start on July 23rd at 6pm and end on August 6th at 10pm. Your character will be staying at a mansion on the beach with whoever they choose as a roommate. As always, feel free to make paras about their experiences together, having to stay in the same room. Tweet @brxdgewood if your character will be attending the trip and the roommates will be randomly selected and posted on July 23rd (around 4pm). Anything otherwise is strictly prohibited and will result in repercussions if not follow, AKA a phone call home and academic probation. Yes, feel free to have your character go against this if they so desire to risk it.The trip has a cost, which is 200 dollars per student. This price is fairly low, considering that they are staying in a hotel that provides breakfast every morning for a couple of days, are provided three meals a day, and have the miscellaneous fees as well as the ones that go along with the trip destinations. If your character cannot afford this, do not feel discouraged, as students who might struggle to come up with the money are free to have filled out an application requesting a discount or waiver since it is sponsored by the high school. It is suggested that students bring extra cash if they wish to purchase souvenirs or extra meals outside of the ones provided. Once arriving in California, they will be going Six Flags. The day after that they will go to beach for a bonfire, and the other days they will be able to go off and explore on their own. The kids will be expected to return to the hotel at 5:30 pm on the final day, which is their day of free roaming, and the bus will leave at 7:00 PM.

“I can’t stand seeing him with other girls.”
- Calligan King, 17, Junior, FC: Alexis Ren.
She was born in Spain but when she turned 7, she moved to New York because her father had a job offer but Calli didn't want to be here. When she turned 14 and high school came around, she went to multiple schools due to being bullied but when enough was enough. Calli ended up deciding that Bridgewood was more of her speed because her friend Luis went there and she knew that she'd be safe there. She has a huge crush on Luis but cannot seem to tell him, the junior prom is coming soon so she wants to see if he'll be asking her to it.
