to Lisa Lopes (1971-2002) a mentor for the group. Both of who parallel each other in how each group lost their emcees. Much love to them both for their contributions to hiphop.
This Friday “Ladies of Lyrics” is starting a new podcast series where we interview some amazing lyricists in the rap community! First up is @HunniEllis to talk about her experience in the music industry!
Tune in with me & @MinxCouture while we chop it up about all things hiphop!
@thatgirllaylay is a great representative of an age appropriate artist. If your children love rap music, and tv shows, Lay Lay is very entertaining and fun!
Once a month we want to start the #saturdaymorningraptunes showcasing the kids! Although we’ve posted some in the past, let’s start supporting our kids in hiphop!
This lil jewel is @therealvanvan_ ! She is so precious and awesome! 🥰🫶🏾🫰🏽👧🏾👸🏽💕
This that whole Miami Bass sound from the 90s, the Freaknik era, is one of MY FAVORITE eras of music, where the club was packed, and everybody danced!!!!!
Dis n Dat’s Freak Me Baby was one of the club favorites, in the original album version format and that remix that had the streets going crazy!!!
I miss when the remix of a song would be an entirely different song, and be just as good if not better than the original record!
