Thank you for the beast that is the Best Overplayed Song Spotify playlist 🙏 . It's a very good and easy one to pull up if I need to have a playlist in a group of varried people and it hasn't missed once yet so far. My own playlists tend to be more... anisongs, songs I hyperfixated on for 2 weeks, a collection of this one thing or another. It's a great playlist to have available :D

I was looking at the playlist and realized that there was no Taylor Swift. Did you disqualify her or something? Lol. Just surprised because while I don't think she would've made it very far, I would've expected her to at least be nominated

ok so a bit of personal bias here but i hate taylor swift, which is why i didn't add any of her songs on my own (also in my humble onion none of her overplayed songs are good enough to qualify for this bracket), but to be fair not a single one of the several hundred songs that were submitted was a tswift song so 🤷🏻‍♀️ if even just two people had submitted the same song by her i would've included it

Do you also have the problem that you only come across fun tournaments once they've reached the semi-finals or worse? Or that you have the perfect candidate to submit but the submission period closed 3 months ago? I made this blog to try and fix that problem.

The idea is that tournament runners only have to tag this blog, so that I can reblog their announcement post, to gain traction and that tournament enjoyers only have to follow this blog to see all the new tournament announcements.

yeah i don't think Take on me is coming back from this. I will say, out of any song on the bracket, i think Dancing queen is the most worthy of slaying the beast that is Take on me by A-ha.
