september is here! school is back in session and fall is right around the corner, so of course this calls for a guide. i’ll be talking about everything from mindset to fashion to get you ready for the cozy season! 🍂☕
before we get into it, i highly recommend you read my dream girl guide and my study like bambi post if you haven’t already. it covers everything related to habits, self discipline, and studying tips from a straight A student that i won’t be too specific about in this post. if you did, you’ll notice that this is basically a reworked general version for school. nonetheless, enjoy this guide ♡

what are your priorities? #1 should be you. prioritize your happiness, health, and safety. always! this part is important because if you know what’s right for you then you will naturally always lean towards goals and actions that are best for you! i talk more about this here.
once school is back in session it is SO EASY to fall back into bad habits and negative mindsets because of the people around you and the stress and pressure that surrounds having good grades all the while maintaining your physical & mental health. 
now it’s time to let go of all and any limiting beliefs, negative self-talk, toxic habits and people and be the top student you are! anyone can level up.
habits to cultivate:
finding and setting up a system that works for you.
putting your needs first
getting your work done on time
paying attention in class.
don’t study until you get it right, study until you can’t get it wrong.
lessen phone usage.
self discipline. keeping up the momentum.

simple glow up tips ⋆·˚ ༘ *
·˚ ༘ wash your face with cold water every morning. gently press the cloth onto your cheeks/eye bags to depuff
·˚ ༘ drink green tea after meals (especially dinner) to debloat!! you can't see the effects immediately but you'll notice a change in the morning
·˚ ༘ drink water first thing in the morning! hydration is so so important
·˚ ༘ find a book you really like and read it! you'll have something to look forward to
·˚ ༘ try to pair unhealthy snacks with a healthier combo to balance things out
·˚ ༘ i really recommend pilates for anyone who wants to lose weight/become more active! it can be less tiring and challenging
for a lot of people, myself included. imo i prefer it over cardio
because it's a lot calmer and less scary. you can focus on full
body/core/arm/etc workouts
·˚ ༘ speaking of exercise, find something that you LIKE to do. it's a common misconception that one specific type of exercise is going
to help you lose weight, but that's not entirely true. in reality, any
form of anaerobic/aerobic exercise is *going* to tone your body
and change your figure over time, but it depends on what activity
you're doing and how often you do it. my suggestion? find an
activity you like and find a way to fit it into your schedule. i love
running, so i go jogging when the weather's nice. on other days, i
do pilates and weights.

Little things to upgrade your morning routine

Always start your morning with a nice drink like a coffee, matcha, or tea.
Say good morning to your pets, you can also text your friends and maybe, make some plans!! <3
Set an alarm so you wake up on time and don't feel rushed, for me, it's usually enough to just sleep with my blinds open!! :)
Open your windows to let some fresh air in, also make sure to check if any of your plants need water!!
Make-up and music. I love doing my make-up while listening to one of my playlists, it's the perfect way to set the mood <3
Positive affirmations!! You can write them on sticky notes and put them on your mirror so you'll see them while getting ready!! :)
Prepare a cute outfit the night before, and make sure to check the weather so you can plan ahead!
Don't skip breakfast, If you are busy, you can meal prep some overnight oat or chia pudding the night before.
Try reading at least 10 pages in the morning, it will help you feel more refreshed.
Make sure to check your bag, so you don't forget things like your lip combo, keys, and headphones!! Nothing worse than sitting on the subway without headphones (me rn) :((

i'm sure you've already heard about this, but is it real? does it really work? and i can answer all this with a YES. what you believe about yourself and your life is a reality, for you. whether it is a positive or negative belief, if you believe it is so, it will be so, you will unconsciously look for evidence of it in your life or in the world. the universe always proves you right. what you think manifests.
🍀 how to adapt the lucky girl/boy syndrome?
the first step is to change our mindset. we can do this by asking ourselves some questions like these (my recommendation is to write them down for mental clarity and focus)
what means luck for me?
what would my life be like if i considered myself a lucky person?
what do i consider to be a lucky girl?
what can i do to become that?
we must control our thoughts and ignore those that do not favor us and that, contrary to what we want to obtain, cause insecurities and negative reactions. for this it is good to have a mental diet. it is about controlling everything you consume. be aware of this and what does not do you good, remove it from your life. it can be news, television programs, conversations or even your own thoughts. when it comes to focus on what we want is very important to take a mental diet and not react to certain things that make us bad and make us stagnate in the same story as always. now ask yourself what is that story that is not preventing you from moving forward, again you can write it down on a piece of paper.
what is it that i am focusing on that i shouldn't?
what should i be focusing on instead?
what is it that bothers me?
remember that when a situation arises that we do not like, we are not going to solve anything if we worry about it and do not stop thinking about it, our focus should go somewhere else.
work on your self-concept and your limiting beliefs to improve this and adapt a new mentality to your life.
🍀 think and focus on the positive.
when something bad happens and we are working on ourselves, whether we are affirming or putting a great effort to improve and something goes wrong or does not happen as we would like our first reaction is usually negative, we even tend to blame ourselves but that will not change the situation. complaining will not change the situation, nor will it improve it, on the contrary, it will create more of the same. what a lucky girl/boy would do is to think positively, even if at that moment it seems impossible we have to make the effort not to criticize ourselves, not to criticize the situation, or whatever. adopt the belief that if something does not happen as you want it is because something better is coming. also, learn from your mistakes to improve next time. some examples. you didn't get called for a job? well, maybe there is a much better position waiting for you. you failed an exam? no problem, this will teach you that next time you have to organize yourself better and you will pass.
everything in this life has a lesson and we can take it either in a negative way by victimizing ourselves or by learning from it and looking for the positive side. because everything is about perspectives, what for you can be very bad for a person not so much, and so on, so keep this in mind.
when we focus on the positive, even if it is the little things, more of these things will appear in our lives.

🍀 the use of daily affirmations
affirmations are not a "method" affirmations are the thoughts we have and what we say. everything is an affirmation, it can be negative or positive. telling yourself that you are not enough is also an affirmation. if you have been thinking this way for a long time it's okay, be aware of it and you can change it. every time you have a negative thought you can replace it with a positive affirmation. an exercise you can do to change this is to write on a piece of paper a list of the things you say to yourself that are not positive and next to it the positive affirmation, so you will be more aware of this and you can change it.
when talking, again, focus on the positive. don't get into arguments or negative conversations. don't have conversations with yourself about these kinds of things or think bad things about yourself.
you can write your own affirmations and repeat them daily or find a video on youTube and listen to it when you wake up, before you go to sleep or during the day. right now on youTube there are many lucky girl affirmation videos, which can help you.
as i mentioned before, a mental diet is very important. it's no use if you affirm and then something happens and you complain. If you have done something good but then again you changed your thinking and went back to your old pattern. be aware of it and if it happens do not judge yourself, just persist in the positive.
🍀 change your habits to better ones
this blog is mainly focused on habits and having a healthy lifestyle, and right here you can find more detailed information on how to do it.
change your habits. eat better. stay hydrated. exercise daily. read more. spend more time in nature. find a hobby. do things that make you feel good. get enough sleep. do something for yourself every day, no matter how small.
identify what are those habits that are preventing you from moving forward or achieving your goals and change them. establish a daily routine that makes you feel good, you don't have to copy anyone you see on social media, but you can get inspired and adapt it to your situation. a good lifestyle with which you are satisfied is very important when it comes to feeling good about ourselves.

It would be amazing if you would give me some advice. I really want to change from the scratch and become this person that is in my head. What are the things we can gradually change in our daily habits? How can I become disciplined about it? How can I just be more dependent on myself rather than being dependent on others?

If you already have it in your head, it's already easier for you to start attracting it into your life 🦋
you have to be clear about the lifestyle you want and the new habits you want to implement and from that you do it little by little.
for example, you want to start with the habit of exercise, propose for a week to do for 3 days routines of about 5 to 10 minutes and from there you go up the level and create new goals until you create the habit and adapt much better that habit to your life and what you want to achieve.
with food the same, start implementing little by little healthy foods to your current diet, do not stop eating what you are eating now, just change it gradually until your body gets used to a healthier type of food and you can also investigate what benefits each food brings to your body so you will be more aware of what you will be eating and you will enjoy it more.
so create a discipline little by little with the habits you choose, it can also help you to choose small habits like writing every day in your diary how you felt (or choose a theme, it can be affirmations too) start waking up an hour earlier every day, proposing small things that your mind knows are "easier" to accomplish will help you to achieve that discipline with bigger habits as well.
when you start working on yourself and trusting in yourself and what you are capable of, you automatically stop depending so much on others because you already have you, so don't force yourself with that, focus on improving yourself and the rest will come in addition.
habits that i consider essential to have a balanced and healthy life
daily movement: some kind of sport, going to the gym, dancing or even walking daily.
good nutrition and hydration: drink plenty of water and eat foods that nourish and are good for our body.
meditation: helps to reduce stress, to focus on our goals, to have more clarity about things among many other benefits.
journaling: writing down how we feel helps us to change our mood to a better one and to see things more clearly, also through this we can solve past situations and even create new ones focusing on what we want and having more clarity about it.
gratitude: this is very important and sometimes we forget it, it is important to be thankful every day for the things we have in our life. it will help us to stay present, feel better about our situation, and attract more positive things into our life.
habits to give up in order to have a better life

Hygiene tips
Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially before eating, after using the restroom, after coughing or sneezing, and after touching public surfaces.
Carry a hand sanitizer with you. Make sure the sanitizer contains at least 60% alcohol and rub it over your hands until dry.
When coughing or sneezing, cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your elbow to prevent the spread of germs. Dispose of used tissues immediately.
Refrain from touching your eyes, nose, and mouth as much as possible, as these are entry points for germs into your body.
Take showers or baths regularly to keep your body clean and fresh. Use soap and water to thoroughly cleanse your body, paying attention to areas like armpits, feet, and groin.
Brush your teeth at least twice a day for two minutes each time, using fluoride toothpaste. Don't forget to clean your tongue, and replace your toothbrush every three to four months.
