still very much attached to my hemokinesis / bloodbending headcanon & you can pry it from my cold dead hands ... despite all of the perils of illnesses transmitted through open wounds that Bel is at an extremely high risk of catching — considering how lackadaisical he is about injuries, I think that Bel can fight off a lot of infections ( somewhat subconsciously ) due to his blood manipulation ability

like its super self indulgent but I like this headcanon because it can explain so many of the narrative plot holes that khr is riddled with. bel miraculously survived the detonation at the end of the storm ring battle ( whereas gokudera would have died or at least been hospitalized for life ) because he can use his ability to partially supplement natural healing and stem blood loss. he is obsessed with “royal blood” because he can only manipulate the blood of his clan; his increased capabilities and adrenaline rush when his blood is spilled is because he is controlling his own blood flow to transport oxygen / nutrients / adrenaline

I also liked the idea that his ability is not fully voluntary: he cannot trigger it on will, as it only “awakens” when he feels that he is in danger of losing a fight. which would explain why he does not use it under normal circumstances & why he only goes into his prince the ripper state after he has been injured

My rules & regulations have officially been updated !!     Along with all of the changes I mentioned previously,   I also decided to clarify the section of my rules that states that I do not tolerate ‘RPC Drama’ on my dashboard,   which was both difficult to enforce and not catch - all enough to allow me to curate my space in the way that I wanted.     After thinking about this for awhile,   I have stated that although I do support callout culture,   I still will not actually reblog callout posts,   and I added that I would like CALLOUT / NEGATIVE / VENT posts trigger tagged,   which many of my mutuals already do !!! I sincerely hope this does not come off as insensitive or anything,   but I really am just here to have fun,   and as much as I am constantly sending virtual hugs to all of the friends I have made through this site,   I also know that my own mood tends to tank whenever my feed starts feeling like a constant stream of depressing real life updates and hostility … I’m really sorry if this feels like its directed at anyone specific because I swear its not,   it’s actually a boundary I decided was best for myself prior to coming to tumblr.

viper mammon is really cool ... I just saw a fanart of them and some of the other arco as adults & I really do have so many thoughts about them. like bel was a little bit obsessed with mammon & mammon was begrudgingly indulgent of him ,,,

I am thinking about how Bel actually has a lot of "normal" hobbies. He can be eccentric ( to put it lightly ) but he does spend a good majority of his free time doing stuff like video games and playing instruments. The mafia has some pretty strict rules that limit the degree in which Bel can misbehave, so of course he has to find other things to occupy his time

Important status update before I do any more writing I'm going to work on remaking my icons + revising my rules and biography pages !!     Some major - ish changes I plan to add to my rules include,

I am now a MUTUALS ONLY blog     ─     In the past I haven't really felt the need to limit who could interact with me since I'm pretty arbitrary about what asks / replies I work on anyway,   but for the sake of organization and keeping my drafts clean I've decided this is for the best.

I am now open to the idea of shiplocking / exclusives     ─     especially if my partner is more comfortable with being exclusives !!     Otherwise I'm still very open - minded about multiple interpretations of the same muse.

On the topic of DUPLICATES     ─     I didn't have any rules regarding this before,   but I've decided to clarify that I will not be following single - muse Belphegor blogs back for my own peace of mind.     This wasn't prompted by anything or anyone,   ( especially since I'm the only active single - muse Bel blog in the RPC that I know of )   so if you're a multi - muse that writes Bel,   please understand that this isn't directed at you at all.

My trigger tag is now #trigger tw,   as I have come to understand that this is the most universally accepted format at the moment.     My other rules and stipulations regarding sensitive content have not changed.

This blog is heavily headcanon - based     ─     this has always been true for my portrayal of Bel,   but I've decided to make it clear in my rules now so that I'm less anxious about taking liberties with canon later.

I am currently locked into using the new BETA EDITOR for tumblr,   therefore I require my partners to use the beta editor when writing with me,   or I will be unable to cut posts.

Sorry for the belated update to my rules changing,   I sincerely hope that for the most part these changes won't impact my current mutuals.     I also want to make it clear that nothing has happened that prompted this,   my experience writing Bel has been great,   I just wanted to make some changes that will hopefully better accommodate both myself and my writing partners !!     Anyway I plan to have my revised / rewritten rules up this weekend,   plus icons and biography,   and then I can fully focus on writing and having fun   ✨ ✨     Thank you and I hope everyone has a great day !!!

Reading about some superstitions about twins, and one of them is that there is a good twin and bad twin ; one of them will act like an angel, and the other will act devilishly. And I think this is absolutely the naming convention used for Belphegor and Rasiel ( Bel is named after a demon, and Siel is named after an angel )

His mind abandoning design,   instincts sharper than every knife in his collection leading the prince through the squall towards a sanctuary,   where the storefront of Takesushi sagely sequestered away from the storm.     Slipping into the eatery without ceremony,   Belphegor pays heed to the FAMILIAR FACE in the front of the house,   a wide grin splitting his expression.     ❝     Ushishi,   surprised to see the prince ?   Don’t worry,   this is an impromptu visit.     ❞     He clarified,   before the swordsman thought otherwise of a Varia assassin appearing in his home.     ❝     I’m just going to stay here until the weather lightens up,   shishi.     It’s raining buckets out there !!     ❞     An infantile cackle rose up,   a dry commentary on the irony of the situation from any other person,   but with the slasher prince it was unclear where he found a joke to laugh at.
