Just finished “painting” with thread on this dragon panel. Definitely worth zooming in for details.

Hi, your work is the most beautiful ever. Do you sell your quilts?
A lot of the quilts I work on aren’t mine, but customers who make a top and have me do all the quilty detail on. It’s my full time job.
I do make quilts in my spare time, and have some ready to ship in my Etsy shop, BecQuilting. And always up for custom orders.

Oh my word, do you sell your art? If so, would you let me know where?
I have some things on Etsy, shop name BecQuilting.
A lot of what I do is other people’s quilt tops that I am adding detail to thru the quilting.
The blue/teal one I shared recently, could be available, but I haven’t decided on a price yet.

Your iris quilts are stunning! What is the technique you use to sew all the little tiny pieces together to make the iris? It’s so intricate.
On the queen sized one, is used the method where I sewed the fabric to fusible interfacing and then flipped it right side out making the raw edges inside the interfacing part. And then fused it to the background and stitched it down when I quilted it.
On the wallhanging one, it’s raw edge appliqué fused onto the background, that was then super densely quilted over. It will never be washed, so we didn’t have to worry about fraying edges.
Thanks so much for asking

Made myself a wooden frame for this piece tonight. Love the way it looks wrapped around the frame. I used a computerized quilting design by Karlee Porter for this one and there is so much quilty detail to delight the eye!

Latest finish. All free motion quilted. One yard of gorgeous fabric by Moda in their Gradients Auras line. Satin backing. Four or five colors of thread.
I’m thinking this one would be amazing stretched on a canvas hanging on the wall and can’t decide if I’m going to keep it or sell it.

Entered mom’s Iris quilt (the wall hanging size one) in a virtual quilt show and would love your help with votes. Voting runs through the fourteenth. You don’t have to vote for mine, but if you would vote it would be greatly appreciated. All quilters love appreciation!
Edited to add that there is no way to direct link it to a specific quilt. When you try, the link only goes to their website, not even the contest. But while looking through the list for mine, you might see one you want to vote for that’s not mine, and that’s ok. We all have different tastes and there are some amazing quilts!
When your mom asks for her own Iris quilt after making one for someone else, but wall hanging size… (queen size one at the end). First one I designed because I couldn’t find an Iris pattern that seemed to work for what I needed. Smaller one has a second flower).

Just finished the quilting on this colorful wallhanging. I already know how I would rearrange the colors if I make another one. But considering the fact that I cut it out on Sunday during the Super Bowl, and already have it quilted seven days later, I’m happy. I will bind it eventually. Eight different thread colors on this one.
Pattern is Winter Star by Zen Chic, fabric is by Alison Glass. Pieced and quilted by me

Your last quilt video has a "3d" relief on it. Can i ask what that technique/effect is called?
It’s not actually a relief, it’s just the way the stitching works with the batting to make it almost puff up. The less you quilt, and the thicker the batting, with the more dense quilting around the outside edges, the more the inside part puffs. (Hopefully that actually answers the question, sorry)

K what machine do you use for the embroidery on your quilts i cant remember what its called (sorry)
For all the stitches on the three layers, I use one of my two longarm machines. I have a HandiQuilter Fusion and a King Quilter 2

hi there! do you do quilt piecing yourself, or do you mostly partner with other quilters? (a lot of your posts seem to be a combo of someone else’s piecing and your… topstitching? quilting? whatever you call the work that needs a long arm machine)
Mainly at the moment, I park up with people that have already pieced the quilt and I do all the fancy stitches that hold the three layers together. But I also piece when I have time or fall in love with a pattern.
