This is Freddie. They're a 5'11" hobgoblin who is quiet and creative but also indecisive, which meant they had some difficulties settling on a class in their first year. They started out as a wizard because it was the class their family was most excited for them to take. However, they didn't enjoy it very much, so halfway through the year they experimented with bard class, which they enjoyed but weren't very good at. Eventually they settled on druid classes. They don't yet have the courage to break the truth to their family that they're not taking wizard classes anymore, but they hope that once they become impressive enough at druidic magic that they will find it. Druid magic comes fairly easy to them, and they have found that if they stand in one place for too long a small patch of meadow will begin to sprout around their feet.

This is fascinating for two reasons.

1. They haven’t actually apologised for anything. She’s pre-emptively rejecting an apology that they have no intention of giving.

2. Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson are extremely well-liked. A lot of people are more attached to them in their roles as they are to the actual characters in the books.
