i watched rogue one for the first time ever today (i know i know pls don’t come for me) and it just makes me so upset that all of them somehow got some form of comfort as they lay dying—k2so knew his last act ended up saving his friends; chirrut goes peacefully in baze’s arms, and baze gets to look at his best friend one last time; and obviously jyn and cassian hugging on the beach—but like bodhi….he goes out alone. he’d just gotten himself back after essentially getting mind-raped, and it was so obvious that he was just happy to be doing something right. that he was finally starting to prove his worth by helping out in all the ways he could and that galen was right to put so much faith in him, and then he’s….gone, just like that.

and it’s just not fucking fair.
