hey besties im probably not returning for quite a while. tumblr rp gives me so much anxiety its unholy and shit is really rough in my personal life right now. 

oversharing way too much but my mom’s an addict and she relapsed and i’m currently living with her and my abusive grandmother. i’m trying to get tf outta this house, but it’s a lot easier said then done.

💜 CANON DIVERGENCIES.

i have a couple of stuff i’ve editted abt steph and i’ve mentioned it briefly, but here is the breakdown.

STEPH’S DEATH. stephanie did in fact die. she flatlined and was out for twenty minutes before leslie thompkins was able to resuscitate her. stephanie was then in a week long coma, and woke up in africa. leslie didn’t give her a choice. it makes no sense to me why a stubborn and head strong 16 year old would want to leave her home and emotional support group ( tim, cass, and babs ). let alone not tell them what she was doing. stephanie would have fought to stay in gotham, possibly under bruce’s protection. leslie did this to protect stephanie and to prevent her from dying again. roman sionis would have put a massive target on her if he had learned she survived, let’s be honest. stephanie, essentially, was kidnapped for a year until it was deemed safe for her to return. 

CURRENT SITUATION. stephanie in her main verse ( her batgirl verse ) is placed a couple of years after her batgirl run. she’s 20 and currently attending gotham u for pre-law. she works at a comfort food diner named meadows that is placed in downtown gotham. she has a studio apartment that she can barely afford. 

NEW 52 & REBIRTH. i ignore it. steph is incredibly ooc with almost everything she’s been in other than urban legends, but i have high hopes for the batgirl solo run with cass. if anyone would like to plot in regards to there being two batgirls, i’d be willing. but for the most part, her main verse is in new earth, where she is the only batgirl.
