bikini bottom was so different from seoul. the seasons were more prominent at home, but it was nice here. she could go to the beach and appreciate the sun during the fall. she loved everything about her little vacation. ❝ this place i amazing, can i live here forever? ❞ of course, she said it in english, a slight british accent accompanying li’s words to help her pronunciation. since she wasn’t in korea anymore she thought it would be appropriate. plus, it was rare for her to practice the language. it was ironic. she always hated the language classes her father forced her in but she couldn’t be more grateful for them now.

beomsoo wasn’t much for shopping out in public. he did most of it online that way there weren’t as many options and he wasn’t stuck like echo was right now. “why not just wait, save up and the get both?” he offered, knowing echo probably wouldn’t take it and just forget about it. “you are, very much so.” he stood up and ran a hand through his hair, pushing it away from his face and fixing it quickly. “let’s just head out, i’m sure you’ve got other stores you wanna look through, right?”

the boy shrugged, seeing the logic in his friend’s suggestion but not considering it for long. “i got better things to save up for.” echo took one last look at the jackets, making a note to come back next weekend. “hmm, not really... i’m not really in a shopping mood anymore.” he shoved one hand in his pocket and slung an arm around beomsoo, guiding them both towards the exit. “is there anything you wanted to do?”

neal had finally reopened the chum bucket, and had left it in the not so trusty hands of one of the long term employees. he had slightly more important things to do, and after working for days straight to actually get the bucket up and running again, he deserves this break. but it is technically for his other job, so he refused to count it as an actual break. he spun the ring on his pointer finger as he stepped into the clothing store. he was about to walk down an aisle when he spotted someone he recognized. “echo?” he asked, raising an eyebrow at the other. he hasn’t seen him in a while, honestly he was under the impression he left town.

there beomsoo was, sitting in another store with another friend watching them try on clothes he knew they wouldn’t ever actually get. though, echo seemed like he was attached to this one and would actually go through with it, which wasn’t a shock to him at all. biting down on the snack he had in hand ( he was always snacking on something, considering he was always hungry ), he was scrolling through his phone when echo’s voice brought his attention to the matter at hand – the jacket. “i’m more of a orange or green guy, but the yellow fits you. why so hesitant?” beomsoo questioned.

echo continued to contemplate his appearance as beomseoo lightly snacked. “you know,” he sighed, “i don’t know. maybe because i like it so much i’d feel guilty trying to steal it like usual. but it’s so expensive,” echo whined. “and i think it comes in teal, too, and i’m still torn between colours.” the boy finally took his gaze off his reflection and looked at his friend. “i’m overthinking this. should we just leave?”

*:･ﾟ✧ hoshi’s left feeling a little troubled after the storm. since the storm had struck during the week of his move in he was caught up in all of the excitement of camping out in a hotel and going on midnight adventures within it’s halls. but now that the island is in it’s recovery state, it seems like most of the residents are left picking up the pieces and going back to normal life. hoshi would love to help, but he doesn’t exactly know where to start or who would even need his help. feeling kind of bored and in search of what to do, hosh finds himself wandering along the beach. he spends most of the time picking up scraps of trash along the way, but shortly he comes upon a giant palm tree. there’s a primal urge that he can’t resist. hoshi must climb that tree.

as soon as his shift was over, echo headed to the beach with some food from work, which had become a weekly tradition of his. he was cleaning up the trash he’d left by the tree when someone else approached, seemingly to be awestruck. “it’s, uh, a nice tree, right?” he attempted conversation awkwardly.
