Bucket List Golf Trip - Part 2: Final Round: Pebble Beach Golf Links *Round not pictured: The Hay designed by Tiger Woods (Too many good pics of Pebble) . Last Tuesday, January 24th, 2023 was a day that will forever be one of the best days of my life. Getting to play Pebble Beach and experience it alongside my brothers, my uncle, my grandfather, and my Dad, made it, by far, the most memorable round of golf that I’ve ever played. The amount of times we all kept saying “Are we really here?” “How are we actually here right now?” was impossible to count. Seeing the look on my Papaw’s face on 18 as the waves were crashing was absolutely priceless. It was the look of a man who had waited almost his entire 90 year old life to be there. I’ll forever be thankful for him introducing me to the game I love. Watching my Dad birdie the iconic 7th hole and seeing the pure joy pour out of the man I call my hero. The man who has sacrificed so much for me so that I can be where I am today. I’ll never forget standing on the 18th tee and being emotional, looking around at God’s beautiful creation, and feeling the history of a place that has had countless impactful moments that I’ve watched and read about. It was an amazing, euphoric experience. I’m incredibly blessed.
