Baron licked his animal ears and cried himself to sleep, his black eye liner smudged across his face. He was just beginning to mumble some generic emo song when he heard a knocking at his door. “Leave me alone mom, I’m playing minecraft” he shouted. But the fact was, he hadn’t played mine craft in 2 weeks. He wiped away his lonely, emo tears and sat up from his depressing situation and thought that maybe some raw chicken would help soothe him, after all, it was a great face moisturiser. He look at the back of the under side of his bed, and sure enough he found his box. Lifting it onto his bed, he stroked it with strong compassion. “Soon my sweet” he whispered. He found the key and quickly opened the box. It contained only 2 items, a tissue for his emo tears, and a raw chicken breast, moist and red. He sighed, he would need to replenish his supply soon, but for now it was perfect. He licked his emo fingers and slid them inside the chicken, he started to cry. “Chicken gods, I summon thee, protect my guy liner and my black lipstick, and of you’re feeling merciful, send me into the sweet death that I crave.” Then he heard it, a squawk and a sudden bright light appeared. “Shrek?” “Son, I have come to deliver you my faithful servant” “But alas, you are not a full chicken, there is one more test to prove that you are ready to enter me. "Anything for you shrek” Baron meowed. “ Eat your piece of chicken, and cry out to your chicken gods, only then will I grant you passage.” Baron shakily took the chicken into his paws, and bit by bit, he devoured it, his Cry’s to the gods heard only by shrek. “Come now son, you are ready” tears in his eyes, Baron took shreks outstretched hand and began the journey up to heaven. Only his mom saw him leave. He took in a deep breath and looked into shreks beautiful eyes. “Shrek?” He whispered “Child, what is wrong?” “I-I have to confess my feelings for you shrek, I feel as if, we were made for each other. Will you, marry me?” Shrek gasped as they acssended further into the heavens. Tears flooded his eyes. “Bu- but this is all so sudden” “I know, but ever since we met last week I feel as if we were one, and I fell in love” “Then yes, of course I’ll marry you” But just as Baron had taken out the moist chicken ring, they crashed into their destination.
