i personally HC gale's bodytype as Recently Skinny. in the way where you lose a lot of weight in a short space of time, so you end up looking a little haunted, a little sickly, a little grey, the skin just a bit looser than usual. i just dont think gale took care of himself properly during his year of isolation, and the weight, both from that, and probably also from stress, just fell off him really quickly.

now POST-game gale, provided he stays alive and stays human? now THAT gale has chunk. most grabbable man in faerûn. especially when romanced, he's indulging with his partner in this, that, the next thing. complicated, high fat, high protein dishes he spends all day preparing. full-bodied wines and spirits to sip on as you watch the sun set together on his balcony. he seems like a chocolate dipping kind of guy. strawberries being the classic, ofc. he's the type of guy to wiggle his fingers and say 'dont mind if i do' when you offer him something sweet. he spent so long in isolation, he's spending the rest of his life making sure you're both indulged in every pleasure life has to offer.

his cheeks fill, his skin looks brighter, his hair shines, the looser skin from rapid weight loss filling back out over time. you know his mother's thrilled.

Astarion likes missionary sex. Likes being able to see his love’s face and the way their body reacts to his.

He loves being able to lace his fingers with theirs, and press their hands to the mattress. It grounds him just as much as the steady eye contact does. Doesn’t matter if he has to coax them into it, murmuring “eyes on me, darling” as he rolls his hips into theirs.

Halsin whittling things is all fine and good but he also canonically sketches anatomical subjects. Mans is an all around artiste. I NEED to see what those sketches look like.

If this fandom insists on making every fic about Astarion, I NEED some of that focus zeroed in on what the fuck one does with 7,000 half-feral vampire spawn one chose not to kill, post-game. “They’ll all go (un)live in the Underdark” is NOT sufficient answer. This is a humanitarian (and etc species) crisis. This is an environmental crisis, if you abruptly introduce that many major predators to one ecosystem. Of the roughly 7 people around who are capable of giving them lessons in (un)living as vampire spawn, each of them personally betrayed about 1/7 of these newbies, only 1 of them has experience as a free vampire spawn, and exactly 0 of them are really “sane”…except relative to the people who have been starving in cages for up to 200 years, rather than suffering more active-but-erratic torture and trauma.
