Life Update/Apologies

Sorry for ghosting y'all, I have been burnt out

Back in June, almost my entire household, myself included, caught covid. I didn't feel up to doing anything but sleeping. After I recovered, I still had some brain fog, and even now it's hard to remember stuff (although I'm not sure if that's from Covid, ADHD, or just chronic pain in the Winter 🙃)

Life has honestly been non-stop since then. In July the family kitten got sick with what the vet thought was either cancer or FIP. Thankfully it turned out to be neither of those things but for a time all energy was devoted to making sure she didn't die.

Since then I quit my old job for a better, but more demanding job. I haven't had as much free time as a result, but as I adjust to the new rhythm that may change.

Also my computer finally kicked the bucket, so that was nice.

But I have a new computer now, with better processing power. I would like to return to this blog and post more pictures, and even open a redbubble store or something at some point (I did just buy an expensive computer with photo editing in mind so... gotta make that money back somehow :-:') (also not that anyone is obligated to, especially since its not like ive done anything here in half a year, but i do have tips available on this blog *cough*)

I will not be forcing myself to post twice a day, because I know that led to my burnout, at least in part. I will post what I want, when I can. I won't make any promises I can't keep, but at the very least, I will try to post something by New Years.

TL;DR: Life hit me like a truck. I'm still alive, and I'll be back.

I think these are purebred domestic ducks, but I have no idea whether anyone actually owns them or if they're completely feral. They just vibe in one area of town, are very shy, and I'm pretty sure they're related to the other funky ducks.
