so you know how rui has always been curious about the plushies in the wonderland sekai (and the aliens in april fools event)? imagine a small rui, regressed in the sekai, curiously wandering up to the plushies! he always has a sense of wonder and curiosity about him, but it's so much stronger when he's little, and the plushies are just so interesting!'

anyways, so he goes up to the plushies and picks them up asking if he can study them!! but even the plushies can tell he's small, so what do they do? play!

they play "scientist" as rui calls it, where he investigates the plushies and tries to find out how they work!!! thankfully when he's small he's less inclined to cut them open, and more inclined to pet them, hug them, and ask them every question his brain can come up with!!

after over an hour of playing, the plushies notice rui is "investigating them" with less intensity, rubbing his eyes, and yawning...

within a few minutes, the plushies and rui are now somehow, with absolutely no possible explanation, curled up in the show tent, kaito's coat draped over them. :)

All this rain has really helped the flowers bloom, hasn't it? Let's go outside and pick some! They may be ordinary wildflowers, but they're still beautiful.

Here's a ladybug, look at their spots! Can you count how many they have on their wings?

And look at this earthworm, isn't he cool? I wonder why he's up here instead of digging under the soil!

There's a butterfly. Can you tell me what color it's wings are? Here, we can get a better look while it's drinking from it's flower, just move very carefully so we don't scare him away.

Closer to the ground, you can see some ants! They're working really hard to stay in line. How do you think ants tell each other apart?

I'll grab a few more flowers, and then we can head inside, alright? But I may need some help arranging them in our vase while I make lunch 💛

CG!Tsukasa🩷🌟 CG!Rui🩷🎈and Little!Toya🩷☕️ Headcanons

I’ve always loved the idea of ruikasa being like parental to Toya, but for some reason I’ve never considered it in an agere way…until now!

-Them putting on shows for little Toya! He’d be so happy, giggling and kicking his feet as they performed for him.

-Rui has an affinity for doing Toya’s hair. Whether it’s early in the morning and he’s styling it for the day, or if it’s bedtime and he’s brushing Toya’s hair before he sleeps, he loves playing with it.

-Whenever Toya throws a fit, Rui is the best at calming him down. He’s good at slowly rocking him, cooing sweet nothings to Toya, singing lullabies until the baby stops crying and fighting it 🩷

-After a fit, Tsukasa is better at cheering him up and making him smile! He loves picking up Toya and spinning him around, but not too fast!! He can kiss Toya on his cute little nose to make him giggle 🩷

-Toya feels the safest when he’s held between the both of them, smushed between their bodies with his face pressed against Tsukasa’s chest and Rui’s arms across his waist.

-Toya finds the sound of their voices very comforting, and it’s not uncommon for them to be in a big cuddle pile, with Rui and Tsukasa discussing something while Toya slowly drifts to sleep in their arms.

-Tsukasa and Rui use the fact that there’s two of them to their advantage, often sitting Toya in one of their laps while the other feeds him or plays with him!

basically he’s my sweet little baby and rui and Tsukasa would do anything for him because he’s just so sweet and cute and he deserves it :(

I've seen "I don't know how to play with toys anymore" a few times lately from agere blogs and just wanted to point out-

Playing with toys looks different for everyone, even actual children!

Playing with toys can look like: 🧸🪁🚂

Taking pictures of your toys and writing captions for them

Brushing or grooming soft toys or toys with rooted hair

Ordering or sorting your toys by colour/species etc

Making up stories, poems or comics about your toys

Dressing or accessorising your toys

Imagining your toys talking to you or each other, forming opinions of their own, etc

Drawing your toys

Taking your toys for a walk outside, even in a backpack or pocket if you don't want to carry them openly

Making lists of the toys you have and where you got them etc
