Take a Break With a Steak
Tumblr media
Tomato Garlic Hambagu is not your usual daily burger steak. It’s a steak made from ground meat and usually served with rice rather than buns. A Japanese-Salisury Steak or Hamburger Steak made with juicy and thick hambagu patty with rich demi-glace sauce and steamed rice topped with tomato and garlic. It’s made with juicy and thick hambagu patty with rich demi-glace sauce and steamed rice topped with tomato and garlic.
The distinct flavor of Hambāgu comes from the set of Asian seasoning used. hamburger steak is prepared with wine, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce and oyster sauce. In addition, chefs made Hambāgu with a mix of beef and pork or added with tofu and chicken meat.
The presentation is different from the traditional hamburger too. It is not served with the bun, but with rice or salad. The patties are cooked in reduced wine and Worcestershire after grilling. The chef will give a final touch by drizzling the remaining gravy in the pan onto the patties, forming a luscious tangy-sweet coating. It is also often served with a red wine reduction sauce, this homemade Japanese hamburger steak (Hambagu) recipe is big on flavors. The meat is juicy and melts in your mouth. Perfect in a hot frying pan or summer grill outs.

An Ordinary Routine
Tumblr media
Everyday, I wake up an hour after my alarm rang, brush my teeth, shower at lightning speed and rush to get dressed for school. I really don't eat breakfast since my stomach system is not used to it
so I just pack my foods and go.
At school, it is my thing to read some of my books in advance for me to have a prior knowledge of what are we going to tackle.
It is a hobby of mine to organize my things by color and put some bookmarks on every lesson I did not fully understand
After a long tiring day at school, I usually go some malls to unwind and escape tiredness of reality, breathe some fresh air and eat foods I crave and I don't often eat in house. When I finally get home, I change my clothes and lay in my bed for 6 hours and then wake up again because I have lots of assignments to do.
While doing my assignments it is already a common thing for me to have some some glass of coffee since I get sleepy early. After doing my home works, I brush my teeth again to make sure the bacteria on my teeth will not creep in me. I pray for my family before going to deep slumber again and repeat the process.
This daily morning and evening routine of mine, prime me for successful day and helps me achieve more and more great things.

My Feathered Friends
Tumblr media
In our house, the only pet I consider I have are our lovebirds. We have diverse love birds that I am taking care of. The rosy-faced lovebird, fischer's lovebird, yellow-collared lovebird, black-cheeked lovebird, lilian's lovebird and a lot more to mention.
Lovebirds are one of the most popular pet parrot species, and for those who are familiar with them, it's no surprise. Beautiful and intelligent, these little birds have been one of the most beloved types of African parrot for over 100 years. But even lovebirds are type of parrot they normally don't have the ability to mimic human speech. They are also known as one of the smallest members of the parrot family. On average, most Lovebirds fall between 5 and 7 inches in length at maturity, when measured from the beak to the end of the tailfeathers. Their small size has worked to push their popularity among those who live in apartments and other small spaces. That's why I have found it easier to house and care for these little birds instead of attempting to keep a larger parrot species.
Petting lovebirds is a extremely difficult task to because just like all parrots, lovebirds are very active birds that need quite a bit of exercise to stay in top physical condition. Those interested in adopting a lovebird must be willing and prepared to give their feathered friend a bird-safe place to play outside of its cage for several hours per day. This will allow the bird to exercise all of the muscle groups that it needs to stay healthy, as well as provide important mental stimulation that these very intelligent animals need.

New Era University: Home of Integrity
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
When you first laid an eye, my school is truly captivating not only because of how big it is but as you will see the cleanliness in every corner that allows the student to feel comfortable anywhere they stay. The open field that we have where pupils play basketball, volleyball and do such physical activities is one of the great thing in there too, it helps to build friendship between different students due to them having a chance to interact and be in one place together.
Our school is not as luxurious as others but it has all the student's necessity. Each room is air-conditioned. The chairs aren't lacking and all the rooms provide better equipment for studying.
But the beauty of NEU, doesn't end only in its physical appearance. NEU is a religious school where they focus on teaching students that above all, serving God is the most crucial thing and you should always respect others' beliefs. All the rules given are hardly implied and it may sound too tyrant but it mold us students to be responsible and careful.
Everything in NEU undergoes a right procedure, like when you violate something. You will have a chance to go to OSD and reflect on yourself. It is a school that also let students speak their minds and say their opinion. School of freedom with integrity.

Gen Z’s Mind
Tumblr media
“Irreverent” a word that we rarely hear but actually the best word to describe us, the Generation Z’s or the generation of people who were born in the late 1990’s and early 2000’s. It means showing a lack of respect for people or things that are generally taken seriously.
In today’s generation, people tend to make fun of a lot of things that are need to be taken seriously. From education to romantic relationship, most of them have no idea of what is the essence of education and the advantages and disadvantages of being in a romantic relationship because this matter is very rampant nowadays, where education is not a priority anymore for some students because they were distracted by the temptation of enjoyment that they cannot even control themselves and turns out into a habit. Enjoyment that encourage them to just sit and relax without even thinking of the outcome of their bad habits.
On the other hand, there is ‘love’ which is the majority’s most used term when they are having a good bond with someone that they just met. They call it “love” without even knowing the real personality of a person and it is so hard to accept that the value of love is getting lower and lower as the time goes by. It is also disappointing that we are living in a generation where people have so much love to offer but none for themselves.
Education and love are not just the issue that the Generation Z’s are irreverent for. They are irreverent to theirselves also because sometimes, they do not know how to value theirselves. They really wanted someone who will see their worth without even knowing that they should be the ones to see it first. It’s ironic to know that most of them are craving for the things that they cannot give to theirselves. They thought that love is just a simple matter, but it is not. Love has to be taken seriously as well as ourselves. We must know to distinguish serious matters to those that are not because life is not a joke, it requires an open mind and a genuine soul for us to obtain the fulfillment within ourselves.
We are in a generation where almost all aspects in life have conflicts because of unwitting mindset. But It is not yet too late to let maturity prevail within us and irreverence will no longer transpire. The word ‘irreverent’ will someday turn into its opposite definition and that will serve as the best word that will describe the people today.

Behind the Noise
Tumblr media
Rowdy, populous and simple – words that best describe what is like to be in our community. It may not be the best but we can be the best in our own ways. Smile flashes in our face but the difficulties in life were crept into our eyes. Just like any other typical barangay around Quezon City, most of the people in our community are facing a hard time on finding their peace of mind because most of the residents here are not aware that they sometimes distracting the tranquiity of their neighbors. Despite of the roaring sounds of community issues, the true essence of being one as a community will still be the loudest.
Rowdy. As you enter the gate, shouting voice of moms will welcome you. It usually happens in the morning, yelling, “Hoy, gumising ka na, tanghali na.” There you are, still in your pajamas, will have no choice but to buy yourself a piece of pandesal that you will dip in your hot chocolate drink. Afterwards, you are left alone in your house, meaning you are tasked to do the household chores while your mother is already having her morning chit-chat with kumares. Soon after, the crying noise of your younger siblings will echoed your house, saying, “sumbong kita sa kuya ko, sumbong kita sa ate ko, bayaran mo ‘yan.” Yes, that will be your morning theme song.
Populous. Outside the house, you will come across narrow streets. Narrow as you can imagine that only one person can pass through, also known as, ‘eskinita’. It is highly possible that it exists in our place, especially that our population is constantly growing. Growing population as the morning theme song will be high up in volume. Having siesta is not our thing. Kids are still scattered along the streets. Some are playing, some are having ‘kiddie fight’. So as their mothers, some are playing bingo, some are having a contest, which chismis is the most worthy. Nevertheless, the line, “uy mare, alam mo ba, yung anak ng kapitbahay mo, buntis na raw, nako iniwan pa ng tatay,” will be the most recently played in the playlist of chismis.
Simple. Now, grab a chair and observe. Look around and you will see the life we have in our barangay. You can clearly hear the rough noises caused by crowd. But when you look deeply, our houses, our surroundings and our living, shouting the one word we treasure to have. We may not have the expensive and extravagant design of houses, the well planted plants along our streets and the high-end life that others have, we still have the most simple living yet most of us wished to have.
We are deaf for the negative judgments of other people but we never cover our ears for our neighbors and fellow community members. We open our eyes wide enough to see each other’s conditions and never played innocent for the wrong things we have done. We willingly and open-heartedly support each other for the benefit of the majority. We use the noise we create to shout our music of unity that we are proudly to play for everyone to inspire and have their own version of being harmonious community just like ours.

Without a Sword
Tumblr media
Pen and paper has been his weapon against the foreigners. This is where the prevailing truth was written and made us see the reality that our naked eyes cannot show. We were blind and afraid but there he is, silently helping us escape the tragedies we experienced. He made us free from the sorrowness and gave us the right that we deserve as a human being. We ought him our home, our nationality and the freedom of life that we have as a Filipino.
During the colonization of the Spaniards in our country, he was the one who led the Filipinos to start a revolution against the Spanish Government to acquire freedom and to gain control of the country. His boldness and patriotism serve as the mainstay of the land of our birth which is the Philippines. He became the voice of his countrymen by revealing the ruthless manipulation of the Spanish Government in our country. His works serve as an eye opener to the Filipinos who are blinded by the deceiving strategy of the Spaniards.
As time passes by, his unique way of defending our country using a pen as his sword in the battle became a trademark of his heroism in the 21st century. He is a hero indeed with a genuine love for his motherland. A hero without a cape but started flying to reach for the freedom that we Filipinos have always wanted, a hero without any supernatural powers but fought fearlessly to raise the respectable name of the Philippines and most of all, a hero without any costume to wear but can still be the most fascinating and perfect model of valiancy.
He may not be the hero who used a sword and a weapon to fight for the freedom of our country but he will always make the Filipinos proud of being a citizen of the Philippines. He may not be the hero that everyone imagined, but he can be the greatest person of the century especially in our today’s generation. The lessons that he had taught us will be etched in our hearts and minds, and his name that we Filipinos will never forget, the name of our national hero, Dr. Jose Rizal.

Beat the Fears
“If it scares you, it maybe a good thing to try.” — A quote from an american author named Seth Godin states that we should not live with our fears. Fears that stop us and take us away from the oppurtunities await for us because most of the time, our fears are the reason why we can’t find ourselves and just stay on what we call our “comfort zone”.
Tumblr media
I grew up with a lot of fears. Fear of heights, fear of changes, fear of trying new things, fear of being rejected and many more. These fears held me back from the great chances and experiences that I might explore, if only I did not let these fears dominate myself. My mother once told me to always have courage and trust myself so I can do whatever I want to without being afraid and that was very hard for me to apply it in real life because I’m a pessimist and I do not really believe that everything will get better if I try something new.
As years pass by, I have experienced a lot of things, encountered many challenges and most of all, went through the situations that have tested my dauntlesness as a teenager. And that’s how I started to make a great decision in my life. I decided that I should have to embrace all of my fears and overcome it because I’ve learned that fears must serve as my motivation and not a hindrance to behold the most astonishing things that are hiding behind my fears. It maybe the hardest decision for me but I am sure that this will be worth it.
This time, I will be having more courage just like what my mother told me. Having courage while embracing myself wholeheartedly. I won’t let my fears stop me to explore the beauty of the world and prove that sometimes, things that scare us can be the best things to try and that was the greatest decision that I have ever made in my life.
