A NOTE: hi, hello! as you can see, this isn't really my usual content -- there are games cooking in the oven, but otherwise i've been spending a fair amount of time on the good ol' jcink forums, and i figured some of you might be interested in this kind of thing.

"there's a storm brewing," he says. you've heard of it too, something that stews in the undercity heavy as smog, sinks under the skin of the upper city like rot. "i thought you might be interested."
"besides…" a tilt of the glass. "the betting pool's grown stale, don't you think?"

axis mundi: semi-private format.
axis mundi is a semi-private site. at times, when capacity is reached, a/m will go fully private on all platforms and close itself off to public view as our playerbase writes.
when the site community as a collective decides to open itself to new members, a/m republishes advertisements and accepts interest forms.
the axis mundi interest form is dynamic, and questions change pending on the community. all submissions are reviewed by staff. those who seem like a good fit for the community will be invited via discord!
a/m's primary purpose in using an interest form system is to welcome friendly, collaborative writers who are interested in long-lasting story arcs and a lack of ooc drama.
axis mundi is not currently accepting new members or interest forms.

axis mundi 'gacha' -- trading card sets.
axis mundi features two custom trading card packs, with 62 cards across them. these are hosted in a gacha-style pulling system in our discord server. members may 'pull' one card per day, or purchase more pulls using on-site credits.
characters may be added to the gacha deck as custom staff-created art (see third image) by purchasing a relevant item in the site store.

axis mundi features cw and nsfw filters, a post tagging system, 15+ custom post templates, 10+ custom development templates, custom cellphone, social media, and newsletter board rows, and multiple wanted ad templates. we do not allow external templates to be used, but members may contribute to the site code bank with staff approval.

axis mundi missions system.
the a/m missions systems features a unique, statless format that utilizes ic actions and dice rolls. most missions are dm-less, and are able to be self-run by members. players submit their finished results for a reward that fluxuates based on mission, difficulty, and outcome of success/failure.
staff typically adds 3-4 new missions per month, alongside event-locked missions.

axis mundi store, crafting, & inventory system.
a/m features a robust inventory system. users may earn, buy, and craft various weapons, tools, augments, magical items and artifacts, etc. for their characters.
our crafting system relies on a "materials inventory" (see figures 2/5). crafting materials can be earned through achievement or event, purchased from the site store, or traded. the recipe list provides players with a list of everything that may be created.
certain, powerful items cannot be purchased or created, and must be earned through site plot engagement!
the site store uses "credits", which can be earned through posting, engaging in events, or trading with other players!

another site feature: an autosave function for posts in the textbox! this saves to your local browser cache on a per-thread basis, so if a tab is accidentally closed, that thread's input will be saved and can be restored!
