Framing britney

it usually is applied to elderly people or people that have some kind of mental ilness. In other words, her father, Jamie Spears, was controlling all the money she earns and earned with her carreer.

the documentary was produceed by The New York Times adn begins with the definition of conservator, which means: “one that preserves from injury or violations, protector” or “a person, official, or institution designated to take over and protect the interests of a incompetent”. The last word means the person who is not able to act legally, due to mental ilness, like people that are under 16yo in Brazil. 13 years of conservatorship and her father in the charge of her money. is it for britney best interest? is it good for her? is that what she wants? inte begginning of 2021, britney’s lawyers said that she wanted someone else to be in charge of her money and wanted Jamie to step down, what was refused by her father.

her fans and advocates from #freebritney movement said that britney was afraid of her father and didn’t trust him to be in charge of her career anymore. it’s important to remember that, while this conservatorship, britney released one album that had great success and hits like xxxx and xxxx. In the last years she said that wouldn’t work anymore if her father kept being her conservator.

first hit: baby one more time.

Kentwood, Louisiana, small town girl. bible belt. britney sang at the coral (?). with 10 yo she started doing presentations on tv shows related to Raul Gil in Brazil rsrsrs (she remembered mais here rs). at that moment she was recognized mainly bay her singing talents.

some people wer interviewed in the documentary, like the first agent of talents she had in her carreer, in the childhood. she said that both britney’s parents were concerned in what to do with that very talented child, but it seemed since the beggining the father was more concerned with the financial aspect (it remembers me melody).

then tey moved to NY in order to britney does singing and dancing classes. since that moment, she already had a lot of carisma. at that moment, the parents had financial problems because they were investing a lot of money in britney’s carreer, but everything worked well very fast, when she was approved to mickey’s club.

britney loved mickey mouse’s club and was devastated when it finished. then britney returned to her city to high school, where stayed for 2 more years. felicia was a family’s friend and went back to NY with britney, when she got a contract with a gravadora(?). meanwhile, her father was struggling with alcoholism and having particular financial problems related to bankrupcies, etc.

the person that was interviewed from the gravadora(?) said her mother, Lynn, was very supportive at that moment and his father was not present. she said the only sentence he ever told her was “my daughter is gonna be so rich, that she gonna buy me a boat”.

so for her first album she started singing “baby one more time” in schools and malls. as soon as she dropped the videoclip from this single, her carreer became very successful, very quickly. after a great period of boy bands era in the 90s, she was the first woman singer to achieve great succes, after other womans from the 80s like cyndi lauper or madonna. from this moment on, britney was already know as a phenomenon.

some fun fact about britney was that after the success of her first album, she did like silvio santos and distributed 100 dollars notes to the people from her city at christmas.

since the beggining, britney was already harassed by the media. some people that were interviewed from gravadoras(?) said that worked with all the boy bands and she was the one that suffered the most. talk show’s interviewers asked things about her breasts and her body, directly, when, obviously, it was not done with the singers of the boy bands.

when she started to date justin timberlake the harrassments didn’t stop. the media asked her questions like “are you still virgin?”, in a very natural way. why her sexual life was so important when nobody cared so much about justin timberlake’s life? and she had to answer that she was virgin and she just wanted to have sex on her marriage and things like these.

when they broke up (2003), justin suggested that the reason of the breaking up was that britney had cheated on him and from that moment on she was oficially treated by media like a slut. and justin reaffirmed it by releasing the single “cry me a river” in which he told he story of their break up.

after justin paint her portrait as the monster responsible for their break up, media started to attack her with worst arms. from this moment on, she started crying in all the talk shows she went, because interviewers blamed her as the responsible for the break up and allways focused on how sad justin was with her behavio. in that moment, no one in the gravadora(?) knew how to clean britney’s national image that was getting dirtier, because of the media sexist work.

in 2004 she started dating another guy called kevin federline, by whom she falled in love and quickly engaged. at this moment media increased the harrassment on her, due to her pictures started to cost so much to the gossip magazines. so everybody wanted to take a picture from britney, because one photo of her cost one million dollars each at that moment.

in the beggining when papparazzi followed britney, she was kind. she waved to them, etc. but when britney got pregnant, everything got worse. the harrassment of papparazzi increased because everybody wanted to take a picture of her child and there is a very famous picture of a moment when she was inside a restaurant with him and couldn’t quit because of the paparazzi’s crowd, so she started crying with her baby. after that, the media narrative became she was sloppy mother and didn’t treat her child well.

in 2006, when she was pregnant for the second time, all the interviews was about how bad she was in parenting, mainly. at that moment, her marriage was not so good too, and right after her second baby was born, she announced her divorce. her mom said she was suffering at that moment of DPP.

back to single life, britney became so close from paris hilton and lindsay lohan. and the tabloids culture loved to enphasize how bad mon she was, because she had a life besides their children. from that moment on, the relationship between britney and papparazzi was scary. she couldn’t walk by any street in the city where she lived without being nearly attacked by a papparazzi. many times she told them how frihtened she was with that situation or cried and they just kept taking pictures.

In 2007 an epic situation happened. britney got into a hairdresser’s saloon and asked the hairdrasser to shave her hair. today people understand this britney’s action like she said “I quit. I cannot handle this anymore, please stop harassing me”. there was an interview right before this happen, when she was asked what she thaught she could do to stop papparazzi harassment and she just started crying and couldn’t said she didn’t knew what to do anymore.

in that moment, britney and kevin was competing by their son’s guard that was due to kevin’s responsibility. in a night, when she tried to see their kids after almost for months without seing them, this photographer followed her and started to photograph her in all the path to kevin’s house. when she got there, kevin refused to answer her, so she got mad, took an unbrella and hit the photographer’s car.

he said it was a good night for him, because he had a “money shot”. at the time, nobody spoke about mental health. everybody just seemed to understand what was wrong with her, make fun and money over her condition and blame her about everything that was happening.

In 2008, the american court suspendend Britney’s right of even seing her children, right after losing their guard to kevin. that was her father asked judicially to be her conservator, due to britney had a new assistant that was controlling very bad her career. so the reason to become her new conservator was to keep her away from bad influences, what is legally predicted by american law.

in february britney was hospitalized to treat her mental condition and her father was legally authorized to be her conservator. relation of the papparazzi and cardume of fishes. britney herself contracted a lawyer and told him she didn’t want to have her father as a conservator. she accpeted the conservatorship, but she wanted a independent one to be her conservator, not her father, since the very beggining.

she accepted the conservatorship, mainly because she could have restored her children’s visitation rights.

after that, she could restore her carreer a little bit, with the circus tour, with hits like “gimme more”. she got into x factor as a judge too. in 10s she moved to Las Vegas and did focused in short shows. that was a moment when the tabloid industry fell down due to the increasing of social media.

mainly, because of instagram, people changed the view from britney as a bad man, in the moments that she filmed her relationship with her children. on instagram, britney could demonstrate the part of her life that she wanted us to see and not media and tabloid culture.

that was when fans made a podcast called “britney’s gram”, where they considered the happiest place on internet. their, they explored some particular sides of her instagram where they thaught she could be comunicating something to her fans. I follow britney on instagram since 2016 and I could say its a very light place to be on internet.

she made stories saying “I’m a sagitarius, I love feedon and independence” in a moment when she was under a consevatorship. people began to think that she was calling someway for help. from that moment on people started to put in question the necesity of the conservatorship.

it started to seem not a place to take care of his life anymore, but to take care about the profit of her carreer. the lawyers of her father started to petitionate to the judge to inform that she will have a lot of profit in the next years and things like this. so fans started to question: if she is so able to work, why she stills need to be in this conservatorship?

until 2019, britney’s carreer under conservatorship was considered like an obedient soldier. then when she canceled her residence in las vegas, the signs showed that something was changing. the fans became frightened because she was out from instagram for two months and his father’s lawyer quit the conservatorship, in which que worked since the beggining.

so she appeared again saying “we all need to take tiime for a little ‘me time’. :)”. so they found out that britney was out from instagram, because she was forced to go again to mental healthy clinic. they received an audio from an anonimous person who said that she had worked with her father’s lawyer.

that was the moment when it was created the movement #freebritney (april / 2019) by her fans, who brought attention from the media and other people from cultural industry who considered the conservatorship of his father abusive. so kevin streghtened the movement when jamie hit one of their children, therefore he asked to cancel britney’s conservatorship too.

with her fan’s support, britney decided for the first time to make an announcement in public tha she wanted to transfer her finances to a bank and replace her father in the conservatorship. in that declaration, she thanks the support of her fans who were concerned with her.

her father says they don’t have conflicts and that the fans are conspiring against him with lies. but britney’s recent declarations confirm the fandom’s suspects. in the end of 2020, then the judge made the bank she asked her co-conservatorship, besides her father.

in august 2021, her father gave up of being her conservator. in september 2021, britney asked to change the conservator as fast as the judges could and became free from her father conservatorship. it was the first time britney could have a lawyer for herself. she had to pay the laywer from her father that was against her, her lawyer, besides mantain all the expenses of her parents.

in 22 years of carreer, 13 of them she was over her father conservatorship. for the next step she is trying to be free of the conservatorship at all.

► Saturno - Casa 2 - Peixes.

Estabilidade em todos os campos.

Criação no sentido concreto (não artístico).

UX funciona aqui.

Retorno de saturno: momento em que o planeta retorna para o ponto em que ele estava quando eu nasci. Esse movimento demora cerca de 28 a 29 anos para ser realizado e significa novidades e movimentações nos temas representados por esse planeta: dinheiro, bens e recursos. Nesse sentido, ele vai apresentar oportunidades e movimentações profissionais importantes pra mim.

► Dois planetas colocados no meu ascendente: marte e mercúrio.

a) Mercúrio na casa 6 (ou 5?): sugere comunicação escrita, projetos, de forma que UX cabe aqui. Tudo que eu escrevo no papel sai. Arte, criação artística, no sentido de criatividade. A Letícia acha uma excelente ideia a movimentação de carreira me aproximando do Design de Produto e UX.

b) Marte na casa 3: relacionado à área da comunicação e ensino. Sugere deslocamento de informações, passagem de comunicação.

► Vênus - Casa X

Está na casa em que eu ganho dinheiro. Portanto, está mais próximo da arte do prazer, da criação.

► Júpiter

Está em condição de bastante debilidade. É um planeta relacionado ao Direito. Embora eu tenho me formado em Direito, não há grandes simbolismos que sugiram isso no meu mapa.

A casa 7 tem a ver com os relacionamentos afetivos. No meu mapa, a Vênus(?) está na casa 12. O simbolismo desse planeta alocado nessa casa se refere ao Deus Pan (fica na floresta assustando quem passa), taca o terror. Portanto, simboliza uma floresta escura por onde estou andando, com inseguranças e instabilidade emocional. Sugere um cenário gerador de ansiedade, discórdia familiar, segredos e coisas ocultas, coisas que acontecem fora dos holofotes, relacionamentos em segredo, ao menos temporariamente.

2021:

- problemas na área de relacionamentos afetivos;

- enfraquecimento da minha disposição psicológica e emocional;

- Júpiter estava na casa 12: sugere uma relação ruim com o meu chefe, nada muito trágico, a exemplo de uma demissão. A quadratura com marte, sugere ainda um conflito bélico.

2022:

Profissionalmente, “aqui tá tudo muito legal”.

- Júpiter está na casa 10;

- Júpiter fica muito bem em peixes e sagitário;

- extrema umidade, cenário propício para que as coisas brotem e fecundem no aspecto profissional;

- na casa de dinheiro, tenho uma lua bem domiciliada, o que significa uma promoção com um aumento de salário ou um trabalho que eu entro por vontade própria, onde eu vou ganhar mais;

- ela aposta mais em um aumento ou promoção.

ENEM (jan 2022 a jan 2023)

- Saturno está na casa 9, isso sugere que irei começar outra graduação no ano que vem, sem dúvidas.

- o período de 22 de março a 18 de abril tem o movimento mais favorável, de forma que eu devo estar colocado dentro do cenário acadêmico.

Relacionamentos afetivos: marte na casa 7.

- essa posição não é muito boa, pois sugere um cenário mais conflituoso dentro do meu relacionamento;

- ou conflitos que sejam gerados pelo cenário do relacionamento;

- este é o tema mais difícil do meu ano, com alguns momentos de acirramento dessa tensão.

De forma geral:

- perspectivas profissionais e financeiras boas;

- deve rolar o cenário acadêmico vislumbrado;

- bem instável na parte familiar e meu namoro: momentos de altos e baixos.
