Extroverted Intuition (Ne): Stiles is all about connecting dots, theorizing and identifying possibilities. He thinks out loud often, energetically or exasperatedly spewing ideas. He is clever and references pop culture. He doesn’t like when he doesn’t have a mystery to solve and constantly searches for supernatural “riddles” to work on when all is quiet in Beacon Hills. Stiles is constantly researching and looking things up, bouncing from interest to interest and from subject to subject.

Introverted Thinking (Ti): Sarcastic and quick-witted, Stiles is observant and analytical. He uses his Ti along with his Ne to quickly connect pieces of the “puzzles” he is constantly solving. Like a detective, Stiles analyzes and deconstructs until he can piece details together to make a whole. He has to make sense of things and he does this out loud and references things he’s familiar with or research he’s done.

Extroverted Feeling (Fe): He loves to express his feelings to Scott and is usually unnerved if Scott doesn’t reciprocate. He’s practically always talking and criticizing things and people he doesn’t like – Isaac’s scarves, Theo in general. He might even unintentionally put his feelings out there before he considers or becomes receptive to the feelings of those around him. Still, he cares about his friends and family and intends to do whatever he can to save them.

Introverted Sensing (Si): Stiles trusts the things he knows and has a sentimental streak that shows itself when he worries about his friends leaving and things changing after graduating. As much as he loves possibilities and different ideas, he also has a soft spot for the things in his life that are comfortable and familiar. The infatuation with Lydia was almost a familiar, historical event for Stiles that he could always refer back to. His pop culture references and his returning to the same movies and characters is a small nod to his Si.
