Separated Thrift Tea Lot Types - Public Release

Hello everyone! The Separated Thrift Tea Lot Types mod is now available to download! This mod adds the Thrift Store lot type and the Bubble Tea Store lot type to the game. I am not a big fan of being forced to build a tea shop in a thrift, so with this mod, you will be able to build a bubble tea shop without the thrift store requirements and vice versa and the lot types will still function as the store built.

This mod adds the lot Bubble Tea Shop to the game and overrides the Thrift and Bubble Tea Store lot type with the Thrift Store lot instead. There is an optional package in the download if you still want the Thrift and Bubble Tea Store lot type in your game

Both Lots will have their own build requirements and will function as usual. Thrift Store lots will still have the store owner, customers, and enthusiasts appear. The Bubble Tea stores will have a barista and customers will still visit the lot.

Other Notes

Basemental’s Universal Venues List mod is required to have the lots appear in your game. Even if you already have this mod downloaded, please update it since these lots have recently been added to this mod!

The Events still work as usual. The Fashion Show will happen at the Thrift Store and the Comedy Night and Poetry Night events will happen at the Bubble Tea store.

A microphone is required to be built in the Bubble Tea Store for those events as I think it is more fitting to have performances at an eatery rather than a place for shopping.

Optional file to have all the features from my Child of Sulani Trait in the Child of the Islands Trait. This file would not include the Child of Sulani trait, but would have the game’s Child of Islands Trait function the same way, and include all of the social interactions, moodlets, and max culture skill from my Child of Sulani trait.

University Events - Notifications and Calendar Mod

Hello everyone! I created a mod that adds the events that happen at University onto the calendar and gives a notification when these events start. Currently in the game, there is no way of knowing when these events start, unless you are on the lot during the time of the event. I thought this mod would help enjoy University more since now you will be able to see when something is happening on campus!

University Events - Notifications and Calendar Mod

This mod adds the events at the university the Sim is attending onto the calendar and gives notifications when the event starts.  Notifications - A notification will appear when an event is starting at the University the sim is attending.

Calendar - The calendar will show the events happening on the Sim’s campus. Events for Britechester will only show for sims attending Britechester and events for Foxbury will only show for sims attending Foxbury.

If you start a new save, the game does not load the events on the calendar or notifications for the events until the next day.

If you enroll in University in the middle of the week, the calendar will not update until the next week, but notifications will still appear each time an event starts.

The game handles the scheduling for the University events differently than the other events in the game, some events will appear on the calendar before the start of the week and on Monday instead of Sunday.

Sulani Culture Skill Mod

Hai everyone! Here’s a new mod called Sulani Culture skill that I made since there is a lot of information in the Island Living pack description and Sulani world vacation description about local culture, but it is not exactly clear as to what the customs are, unlike for the worlds of Mt.Komorebi or Selvadorada. This mod adds gameplay value with new social interactions with Sims from Sulani, new computer interactions, and added gameplay value when interacting with the island.

Turtle Hatching Event now in Sulani Events Calendar and Flyer Notifications Mod!

Hello everyone! I have updated the Sulani Events Calendar and Flyer Notifications mod to include Turtle Hatching event notifications!

When the Turtle Hatching event occurs, a notification along with a flyer will appear describing the event. The event will also appear on the calendar while the event is active!

Other Stuff In Update Sims will now arrive closer to events, when clicking on the Travel To button. No more scrolling around and searching the lot to find where the event is happening!

Turtle Hatching Date: On the Turtle Hatching event flyer, it says Dates Vary. The Turtle Hatching event seems to appear randomly once you unlock this event.

Sulani Events Calendar and Flyer Notifications Mod

Hai haii! Here is a mod that I've created that gives notifications to the events that happen in Sulani the same way all festivals work in the game. Events happen every day in Sulani but there is no way of knowing when these events are or what to do at these events. Hopefully, with this mod, you can enjoy Sulani a little bit more!

Sulani Events Calendar and Flyer Notifications Mod

This mod adds the events that happen in Sulani onto the calendar along with flyers to describe what these events are.

Notifications - When an event in Sulani is starting, a notification will appear along with a button to read the fair flyer.

Functional Flyers - Flyers describing the event can be viewed when clicking on the notification or on the calendar. If the event is active, clicking the travel to event button, will take the sim straight to the event.

Calendar - Calendar will now show the events happening on Sulani.

Hey, I just tried to play with your Sulani Events Mod, but all the notifications I got were empty - I assume because my game is not in English. Is it possible to make the English text show up in other languages? Thanks in advance.

Hello! Thank you so much for letting me know about this issue. It completely slipped my mind to test the mod for other languages. I fixed the problem. At the moment the mod now shows English text for all other languages! You can find the update for the mod on Mod The Sims (MTS) and the file for the update is currently on review on curse forge!
