!Icarus rant bc he’s such a silly character!

(This is a somewhat old draft)

The way Ic says “just listen to me for once/you guys never listen to me” (or something like that) to The Things even though they’ve just have been repeatedly on the wrong side/is wrong like for example when Geist was there and they trusted her even though The Things and Quixis said she was not trust worthy. And even when over and over again they keep blaming everyone but themselves for Haley’s death ( the corruption,Centross and then Enderian) and again when the chat tries to correct them about it they pretty much ignore us and eventually figure out they was wrong the whole time.

This is a process that’s probably reapated more in the resets but I feel like now that they’re siding with Fable they aren’t really going to have a good chance to see that they’re wrong/try and fix things because it’s too late. The whole point of why they’re doing this is because they are trying to fix everything, so they have not reason to think they should “switch sides” if it’ll all be fixed in the end.

You would think that after so many times of them being wrong instead of telling us to listen to them(even though they’ve never been on the “right side”) they would attempt to listen to us but this situation is more special because it’s Fable, his dad and who they feel is always and always will be right and knows what he’s doing. Someone who would obviously be in the right. And it’s who they believe is the only person who cares about them and will love and accept them.

I feel like the reason they think this is because Fable is the only character who has never told Icarus that’s he’s wrong(or something along those lines). I mean because there’s been times when other people has been upset with their actions and Fable hasn’t really been upset with there actions and instead always supports them(which I feel is a similar to a manipulation tactic I think).

Anyways idk what s really the point of this rant, I think I’m trying to explain my thoughts when is comes to Ic talking to us about believing them and why they always think they’re doing the right thing. It’s 2am when I wrote this so I have no idea how comprehensible (idk if that’s the word) this is lol

FABLE NON CANON SHIP TOURNAMENT

What is this blog?

this is a blog that will run polls with competing non-canon ships to see which one is the most preferred by people. Its a standard poll/tournament blog.

I am one person and cannot think of every non canon ship possible, so if you want to see a ship in this tournament you'll have to submit it yourself. The people submitting ships will be kept anonymous- even from me.

You can submit your ships using this form

DO NOT SEND ME SHIP SUBMISSIONS IN MY ASK BOX

Rules

You can submit ships that are queerplatonic, polyamourous, romantic

You can submit both the romantic and queerplatonic ships of the same pairing (Ex: romantic Raetross and qpr Raetross)

Do not submit ships that the CC's are uncomfortable with- the only one i can think of , besides the obvious incest ones, are Ulysses and Aax

If i do accidentally add a ship that CC's are uncomfortable with, let me know. I am only aware of so much

You can send more than one submission

I am only one person running this blog, if i make mistakes, which are bound to happen since this is my first time running a blog like this, alert me, through dms, or send an ask. I may not respond right away- my life does not revolve around tumblr.

I'll only tag the main posts i make with Fable SMP tag, so that i dont clutter the tags. if you want to actually see the polls/keep updated, i suggest you follow this blog. If you have any questions send me an ask. Again, this is my first time, there are things im going to miss.

Ill stop accepting submissions around march 11th- that gives you three weeks to submit ships. then ill post the bracket overview- which will show which ships will be against which ships. The actual polls will start around may 16th, one a day and the polls last a week.

Thinking about how literally every fable character (idk about Addie but probably) life is/has been affected by Fable rather it’s directly or indirectly. Like most of the characters would not be how they are now if it wasn’t for Fable, and it’s rather the resets or war that has shaped them one way or another into who they are now. Thinking about it so much.
