And we could have shown you some flamboyant fun car, but we thought we'd take a wicked look at something practical. For the most practical thing we've tested so far, i.e. the forklift aka VZV. This particular one is called the Toyota Tonero 25 (it has a much longer and more complicated name full of numbers and letters, but believe me you don't want to hear it) and the number indicates simply and clearly how much it will lift (2500 kg). Appearance In terms of design, the cart can be described as very successful, that is, if the appearance of the working machine can be judged.

Skoda Octavia needs no special introduction. In Slovakia, it is one of the most popular cars of the lower middle class. It is part of company fleets and also of many families. She is both loved and hated. Sympathetic, if somewhat conservative design, the last facelift did not change much, but it aroused interest and caused Octavia to be discussed. However, the important thing is that it has a new engine and it will be the subject of the test. From the outside With its dimensions, Octavia stands somewhere between the classes. With a length of 4670 mm, it fits the smallest middle-class vehicles, while its wheelbase and width are lower than the middle class. However, the car no longer seems "narrow and tall" like its predecessors.

I was always attracted to the sporty Panda by its appearance .

The Peugeot 208 recently underwent a facelift. This French guy doesn't have it easy at all, because his ancestors set the bar high. Whether we mean the ground-breaking 205 or the wonderful 206 , both are still positively remembered by motorists today. The black sheep of the family is just the terrible type 207 , but in its defense, it was a thoroughly average car, but it came just after the wonderful type 206, which is why many of us can't stand it. In this regard, the Type 208 has a much easier starting position. Appearance In the test, we found two pieces, a matte gray and a funky orange with black elements. I'll start atypically from the back, where I really like the shape of the headlights with three light strips.

Nissan Qashqai is the main pioneer of the segment, which has been so popular among car users in the last few years. Yes, of course this is the SUV category, if you want urban crossovers. Its first generation comes already in 2010, the second no less popular then in 2014. Since the beginning of sales, its popularity and sales have been so continuous that the car company continues to work on its development and in 2017 the Qashqai undergoes a facelift. Gone are the specific curves of the second generation, replaced by sterile clean and dynamic lines.

On Wednesday morning we went to Průhonice near Prague to attend the national press presentation of the modernized Citroën Berlingo . As the director of the Citroën and DS brands, František Neuman , mentioned at the very beginning, the manufacturer's utility vehicles are the main driver of sales on the Czech market. Therefore, high hopes are placed in the modernized Berlingo. For the pre-facelift version, Citroën showrooms were mainly visited by men between the ages of 30 and 55, with a family or plans for one, and they used the purchased Berlingo both for personal purposes and for business needs. While roughly 60% of customers opted for the highest equipment , only 0.5% took the basic version.

The Peugeot Rifter is a representative of the MPV category, a category that is unfortunately on the decline these days, thanks to the current popularity of crossovers and SUVs. On the other hand, it is still a category that definitely has a lot to offer its users. In the case of the Rifter and its sibling Berlingo (also Toyota Proace City and Opel Combo ), it is a large interior space with sufficient variability, which is available on a still "reasonable" floor plan of the car. We have already tested the current generation of the Rifter in many versions, both short and extended versions, as well as with diesel or gasoline under the hood. However, we currently have a car that has the highest GT Line equipment, a diesel engine and a six-speed manual.

This time, the modernized Mazda CX-5, the second generation of this popular car, passed the editorial test. The new Mazda CX-5 continues to belong to the category of medium-sized compact SUVs. The current second generation still has the same wheelbase, so it could be argued that it is just a successful facelift. In reality, this is not the case. The fifth has undergone significant changes and redesigns, which are evident, for example, in the chassis or in the sound insulation of the car itself. The second generation of the five really succeeded, it now has a more elegant and predatory impression than the first generation. One of the other things we like about Mazda as a car manufacturer is its refusal to downsize (reducing engine volume) and its loyalty to engines of classic volume.
