Atom: The Beginning to "take a break" in April 2024

Atom: The Beginning will be taking a break in April due to Tetsuro Kasahara's health, as shared by Kasahara himself through his Threads account on April 5, 2024.

In other words, boot_118 will not be posted this month on Comiplex.

Tetsuro Kasahara said the following on his Threads account:

"I was so sick that I couldn't work at all, and I also had a fever, so I went to the hospital. The diagnosis was 'absolute bed rest for at least a week'.

I contacted the editor in charge and decided to concentrate on recuperation for a while. Therefore, we will be taking a break from this month's 'Atom: The Beginning.' To all the fans who were looking forward to it, I'm really sorry…."

They’re ALL the birthday boy! Happy birthday Astro/Atom! (Apr 7!)

just had to stay up and do something for today, although cleaning up is keeping me busy. We’re not gonna talk about how I ran out of space at the top and had to add another paper 💀 I wasn’t quite sure how to represent manga/1963 Astro in the center so I tried to copy Tezuka’s illustration style for him. Not sure I nailed it down, but it was fun trying!
