the awkwardest part of attempting tumblr is the part where i have. to use tumblr again. oh my god, i'm sorry. i'll be here after the weekend rolls over--- i just got busy, woops. h-hello though. i'll try to look less awkward soon. just bad at this. :')

Jiyuu wasn't entirely sure just for how long she was out. The only thing she realizes was that the moment she came to, it wasn't because she was feeling any better. In fact, she still felt like her limbs were on fire... however, the way that a delectable fragrance consumes her senses riles. Enough so that she would rise to her feet, following the scent inside this spacious, but otherwise, unknown compound. It takes her a while, but soon she finds herself just outside of what seems to be a kitchen, with an equally unfamiliar man tending to the preparation of the culprit for her awakening.

"..." It smells so good, and she was hungry. The growling of her stomach was a testament to that truth.

"Oh, you're awake. Sleep well, I hope?" It was a little humorous, really. How used to, yet unusual the position Thoma currently found himself in.

Dazed, and presumably tired feet paved a path closer to where he stood. Even without having a name on her face, Thoma still smiled all the same, as if welcoming back a dear friend. "Haha, I had a feeling you might be hungry," he added, only chuckling amidst the 'rumbling' of the room. "Please, feel free to sit anywhere you'd like. I've been keeping this food nice and warm for you while you recovered. Milady informed me about your situation, so don't worry. You're in good hands."

His voice radiated, a spoon stirring together a fresh broth resting against the table. He had yet to do his errands to serve a more elaborate meal, but he supposed simple ingredients could still work as a simple solution. After all, whatever Ayaka witnessed, must've been meaningful enough to leave the girl in his care; especially if it was inside the teahouse. Not that Thoma was complaining. He was glad to help, but still, his newest responsibility left him with more questions than answers…

Thoma figured the most important thing was making sure they felt better anyway, right? Right. With his head held high, Thoma continued to grin, now solely focusing on that single objective.

“...Those hands being mine, of course. Thoma! Now then, let’s help get you all filled up. It isn’t much, but i’m still certain a bowl of miso soup will replenish some of your energy.”

Offering a small dish, the aroma of tofu and seaweed blended together, almost in the hope of spurring the other’s senses even more. The protein wafted about in the container, scalding steam rising at the top, all in the while with its creator watching — in anticipation of even the littlest improvement of the once exhausted individual.

He’d done this easily enough with stray animals so that sense of affection was hard to ignore. But was it really too silly to keep that same procedure in mind? Thoma hadn’t thought so. In fact, it was probably wiser to treat her with that much consideration, because who knows what she went through?

"Sorry, Reki," he hurried a little faster after hearing the other's words. An airy sigh escaped his throat, stepping against his skateboard as it now rested at one of his sides. Although apologetic at first, Langa's expression found itself confused; vision properly adjusting to their new surroundings. They've always raced each other around the strips of the city, but never stopped somewhere. It was difficult for Langa to tell what he exactly wanted them to do outside the stores.

"But, um, hey, Reki. Can you tell me why you dragged us out here for?"

A sea filled with life. Azure shades hung above their shadows and tiny creatures passed through the light of Langa's eyes. He wasn't accustomed to unexpected invitations like this. Practising with Reki always consumed most of his leisure, so sparing the time to hear someone else out came few and far between.

When Sayu entered DOPE SKETCH, it was easy to fall back into the same mindset. He'd softly stare at the redhead for reassurance. Tilt his head as if to question: “Maybe, she can come with us… after we're done,” although fail to understand why the compensation wasn't good. Suddenly, the rest of Langa's plans for the evening changed. Instead of leaving for the skate park, he gave a small wave to Reki as a goodbye, heading off towards the direction where Sayu wanted to go with him. An aquarium, a place where the cooling breeze reminded him of home and the dimmed, blue lights made his eyes flicker in a state of peace.

The view was amazing. It felt like it panned through his entire vision.

“Look, there,” he finally broke the awkward silence. A finger reached out as if wanting to touch something, the fins of a larger fish swimming within the aquatic galaxy; Langa's pupils brightening tenfold. “What is that? It's so big.” Even in the short experiences he had at home, he never witnessed an animal so grand. Sharks were commonplace for many aquariums, but Langa was stupefied from the sheer size of the one slipping past them.

A small noise of wonder drifted under Langa's throat, attention glued onto the whale shark with his mouth slightly parted. It was a representation of Langa's happiness without directly smiling. Preoccupied with his curiosity, he stood next to Sayu, soaking the moment in.
