i can't explain nor articulate the rush of affection i get whenever I see mote, but it's very real and very powerful. it's her! she's here! i want her to be safe and happy and be able to feel like she's found her home someday

this is so sweet . i feel similarly about mote, i am very attached to her as a character. although i have penned a fairly miserable few years for her (the bulk of my art of her focuses on this) please know she will someday be happy

What does the icon, Twitter getting bad have to do with you having to get a real job? *confusion*

i currently work freelance and get most of my income from patreon and commission work that i source from twitter . on principle i refuse to pay them any amount of money per month and , if elon's vision comes to pass, that means my work will no longer be visible to most people and will be suppressed by the algorithm. therefore my independent illustration career is over unless i start from scratch somewhere new lol

ETA: the tumblr icon has nothing to do with any of this its just stuck on the halloween version on my phone and i was commenting on that in the tags
