Piper
A Squeek that grew up on Yoshi's Island but recently moved to Toad Town seeking a safer life. She thrives on the affection of those she trusts and made fast friends with Tulio soon after arriving. While mostly having practical concerns, she still harbors numerous fears from back home. Piper is the main muse of the blog.

Bitony
Piper's mother. Being a native of Yoshi's Island, she's used to dealing with hardships, but she's cheery and has a big heart. She'll greet almost everyone with a smile and has no shortage of affection for her family. Bitony is skilled at navigating the island after dark, her elusive occupation keeper her out through the night.

Mowzin
Piper's father. Like his daughter, Mowzin left his home of Dry Dry Outpost in his youth, seeking something more fulfilling. Even though he now lives on Yoshi's Island, Mowzin is well read and continues to keep in touch with a few choice contacts from home. He's a care...
((Gosh, what a blast from the past! And it always makes me so happy seeing these two happy!))
(( Some smiling Tulios for the soul! featuring a Piper @askpipsqueek ))
(( They're probably talking about the weird but funny stuff that happened when one was a boo that couldn't stop rotating and the other an ugly looking yoshi ))
You may know the drill by now, but if not, here’s a refresher!
The steps to becoming a participant:
1) Have a Nintendask blog (DOES NOT HAVE TO BE ACTIVE)
2) Fill out [this Secret Santa Sign Up Google Form]
That’s it!
Things to note:
-There are REQUIRED MINIMUMS for the gifts:
Drawn art must be either colored (flat/full color is fine) OR have detailed, complete inking (Traditional must be on clean paper)
Written work must be 500 words or more
- There is an option that you can be a helper elf, where you are a backup if someone is unable to get their piece done before the deadline. For this you do NOT have to be a Nintendask blog.
- After compiling the list of participants, I will go through and individually ask participants if they do NOT want to be paired up with a specific person. I understand boundaries and will ask no further questions as to why/why not.
- There will be a weekly check-in where I will check on progress!
If you have any other questions, please shoot them over to @nintendask-secret-santa
There is also an F.A.Q. on the blog that can be found [here]. This has the dates listed among other questions you may have.

((Been a while, eh? Well, it’s a good night to draw a skull mouser, I’d say! Happy Halloween, everyone, no matter what form it takes for you this year.)
((How common are Peach dolls? Are they popular? Are there toys of other famous figures in the Mushroom Kingdom?
I know Mario does/did own a toy factory, but are other companies making Mario toys? I mean, there must be. There were toys of Mario, Peach, and Bowser in SMRPG. But what were the companies that made them? Do they still exist?
Are there Bowser toys that are popular in the Koopa Kingdom? Are Peach toys popular in the Koopa Kingdom? (I can't imagine Mario's likeness is terribly popular...)
Are DK toys popular outside of what his factory produced?
I wonder what sort of toy lineups are common. Plushies? Action figures? Adventure kits? Do kids play Mario vs. Bowser, or are there fictional heroes and villains with toys available?))
Wanted to play with my pens a bit and practice with spot colours. Except instead of any ordinary colours, I decided to go for my shimmer and iridescent paints.
