Are you a fan of the cold weather? Snow?

I'm a fan of my cold weather wardrobe! The actual cold... not so much. Snow is beautiful from inside a warm place. However, I guess it can be rather romantic in certain situations.

What is your favorite holiday tradition?

I don't really have a favorite tradition. Growing up, we didn't really do much besides wake up and open presents. It might be nice to start a holiday tradition but I’m not even certain where I would start aside from leaving wine and cheese for the all elusive Santa Clause - or ya know myself.

what's your favorite thing about hyperion heights?

How centralized it is would be one of my favorites. You can get pretty much anywhere in Seattle pretty quickly, which is convenient at times. My most favorite things is Evie. Don’t tell her because the ego she’s sporting barely fits through the door as it is - but she is definitely my favorite thing about this place. She’s my favorite part of everything really.

Who do you consider to be your closest friends?

I would be lying if I didn't say it depends on the day. There are some days friends just irk my nerves and others I can't get enough of them. Obviously Evie is top of the list followed by Booker, Ruby, Snow and Anna.

what would your life look like if you woke up tomorrow morning and all of your dreams had come true?

Pretty much just like it does now. I love my life! It couldn't be any better if I created it myself.

What does your typical workday look like?

Why do you want to know? I don't think there is such a thing as a typical workday. Everyday is a bit different even if there are some mundane repetitive tasks.

SHORT BIOGRAPHY

Ivy Belfrey is known as many things to different people, and wears each label with pride. Assistant to her mother who is CEO of Belfrey Developments, girlfriend to Evangeline, friend to many. Ivy is stubborn to a fault, openly opinionated and sassy but that doesn’t mean she is unfriendly to those who have done her no wrong. Most would say she’s an acquired taste — she would say they have no idea they’re all living a curse. A curse that is taking it’s toll on Drizella now as well.

BIOGRAPHY (pre curse)

Drizella Tremaine has lived in her sisters shadow for as long as she can remember. As the years go on, it becomes apparently the only reason mother, Rapunzel Tremaine, keeps her safe is for the very heart beating in her chest. The mother and daughter relationship was never close, despite Driz always trying to make the woman proud. Eventually, she came to terms there would be nothing there. Rapunzel would never be proud of her daughter.

Evangeline appeared during an odd time. The two became friends which slowly blossomed to more which only led to Drizella growing more defiant to her mother. She didn’t wish to die! When magic was discovered everything changed. She could fight back if she only knew how to control it! Regina Mills stepped up to help, guiding her through the basics, foster the powers so they grew into something beautiful rather than dark. Until, one day, Rapunzel was overheard saying the strong light magic would only make her heart stronger for Anastasia. From this moment on Regina was viewed as the enemy working with mother to help bring an end to her life.

Anger prompted explorations of ways to prevent what seemed to be the inevitable. The dark curse was discovered after many many hours of studies in the library and there was hope again. Evangeline begged Drizella not to go down the path, but she had to. Eventually, she realized there was no changing Drizella’s mind so asked they be cursed together — this was one thing she could make happen.

Everyone gathered in the courtyard after a ruckus allowing Drizella to put her plan into action. A hand had quickly taken the heart of Isabella Locksley, one she would crush if they remained in this world. If Regina was going to help Rapunzel try to kill Drizella then Drizella would in turn take Regina’s daughter if Regina tried to stop her. It seemed a fair trade — except Regina had done nothing of the sort. It was all a misunderstanding. Regina was forced to cast the dark curse to Drizella’s specifications to save them. The last thing Drizella said to everyone was I promise this will break and everyone will live happily ever after, as long as no one tries to break the curse before mother has fallen!

The last few days had been a whirlwind. As the news of more and more people disappearing had came to light, Evangeline couldn’t help but grow more worried as the days went by. Evangeline had spent many nights discussing who could be behind all this with Driz, and her girlfriends parents had come up a few times in passing. This was both a concern and a relief as they wouldn’t possibly do something to hurt her own daughter, could they? But on the other hand they were never supportive when they were together the first time around, so anything could happen. She hated thinking about something happening to Driz. It all became a closer reality when a group of people showed up at her house in the middle of the night a few nights ago. It wasn’t until her sensor lights outside would not turn off that sent her on high alert. Evangeline couldn’t get the image of hooded figures surrounding the house, just staring for what felt like forever. She wasn’t the type to spook easily, but she had been on edge since that night. The brunette was pulled from her thoughts with jump as she heard a knock on the door. “Pull yourself together, Evie, why would they knock first,” she muttered to herself as she walked towards the front door. A sigh of relief passed her lips as she heard the gentle voice of her girlfriend. She rushed to open the door, quickly pulling the other woman through and into her arms. She was safe and so was Driz. She took a deep breath, taking in the scent of the brunette. “What are you doing here?” She asked concerned about Driz coming here alone. “Are you okay?” She asked finally pulling away to inspect the brunette from head to toe.

It was obvious Evie was on edge, and for good reason. The entire town seemed to have become less trustful of, well, everyone. With the amount of disappearances growing the fear rose. Driz wasted no time wrapping arms securely around Evie to provide a sense of comfort. Driz knew Evie was fine, but actually being with her helped nerves. The concern for her safety made Driz laugh. Evie was the one with wild people scoping out her home but she was concerned for her? Insane. “I thought I would come spend time with my girlfriend but I can always go.” She jokingly pointed over her shoulder and took a step out of the embrace towards the door. A soft sigh escaped as Driz took in the others appearance while answering. “Physically, I’m fine. Mentally, I’m better now.” She just needed to see Evie was alright. “Phone calls and FaceTime really wasn’t doing it for me. I needed to see you.”

The increasing disappearances were leaving Drizella feeling incredibly insecure for some reason. Perhaps it was the possibility her parents were a part of the crimes or that she felt guilty for not being taken, but either way she just wanted it all to stop. Evie’s resort was growing in popularity due to people flocking to the safety the security provided making the other woman incredibly busy through it all. Right now, Driz felt needy. She felt silly for being needy but people were literally disappearing and dying! As soon as she heard about the people swarming her girlfriends home everything else faded away. A bag was packed and the woman rushed out the door completely ignoring the fact it was already dark outside. It wasn’t until knuckles met Evie’s door that she realized this probably wasn’t the best way to do this. Too late now! Fear of someone watching or possibly coming up crept up her spin. “Evie, it’s me!” Her voice was a few octaves higher than usual as she moved closer to the door, as if she could just pass through it to the other side.

Have the recent disappearances made you think about leaving town?

Hell yes they have. If someone tells you the thought hasn’t crossed their mind even for a moment they’re a damn liar. Evie has too much here for us to up and leave, and I’m not going anywhere without her again.

How do you feel about the FBI being in town?

It's strange but oddly comforting. Maybe with double the eyes on the town whoever is snatching bodies will stop. It’s getting to be incredibly disturbing.

Who isn't acting a bit squirrely with everything going on? Suspicious, I don't know. Everyone is on edge which can make people assume the worst.

Are you still friends with your ex husband?

Sure. In the I hope you step on legos every night for the rest of your existence kind of way. I would say burn at the stake but that seems a bit insensitive considering what my parents may be doing.
