It's sad to see you move on from Hetalia but hey, interests change and your ask blogs are always fun no matter what fandom they belong to! 💕💕 good luck with your latest endovers and I enjoyed seeing your interpretation of Belgium. 😊 also your Bewear blog is pretty awesome! 👀
{ Thank you to everyone who supported me for this long. ; w ;
my askblog involvement was pretty short but you all have been nothing but sweet and nice and I will always appreciate that!! }
{ Unfortunately I really don’t think I’ll continue this blog. ; w ;
I had a lot of fun, but I really am not feeling it with this fandom anymore. I feel like my time has run its course.
Maybe I’ll come back one day? My interests come and go and come back in swings and maybe this is just a lull in liking Hetalia, I don’t know. But at the moment I’m very tired of the fandom and haven’t been missing it very much.
If you still want to hear from me!! I still have my personal @hoork, which is always taking requests. I’ll be glad to still draw my kids from time to time.
If you want to see more askblogging from me, I’ve shifted more into the Pokémon fandom and opened the blog @ask-a-bewear, which follows a group that’s really personal and special to me and I’m excited to do. }
{ yo i know i just came back from a hiatus but i might... go back on it?
i still think about the whole crew a lot but i need another break from Hetalia and I’m gonna focus on my Pokémon askblog for a bit. Since it’s an entirely new askblog fandom for me I’m a lot less... exhausted with it all. Maybe a break will help refresh me? I dunno.
But I just don’t have the drive for Claire and the crew atm, I’m sorry. }
The 21st of July is the day commemorating the day King Leopold first took the throne in Belgium’s newly-established constitutional monarchy. It’s one of ten national holidays observed throughout Belgium. Large festivities are held in Brussels, while some smaller towns can have their own, smaller celebrations.
{ I’m still very busy with visiting little kids, but on Wednesday (July 18) I’ll be completely gone on vacation until July 25th. I’m bringing my laptop, but on mobile I won’t be logged into my askblogs and will be logged into my personal (hoork) instead if anyone needs to contact me! }
July 11th is celebrated as Flemish Community Day (Feestdag van Vlaanderen) in Flanders, first put into place in 1970 by the Dutch/Flemish-speaking community. It marks the anniversary of the Battle of the Golden Spurs, a battle between the French and the Flemish in 1302 where the Flemish chased French troops out of Bruges. The battle is remembered as a symbol of Flemish pride, and the holiday is only observed in Flanders by the government and public institutions.
