What will you do if you see Utsuro?

“U t s u r o ...?”

“You mean - Master Utsuro ?” Nikei began to laugh in a rather disturbing way, as if the mention of Utsuro had a special effect on him.

“Hahahaha - Master Utsuro -! When I will find Him, I ... I ! It’ll be ... the best day of my life, I finally ... finally ... yes ...”

“I want this day to come ... my whole life ... I’ve-I’ve been - waiting for this ! He’s ... the only person who-who... ahhhhh ...”

"N-Nikei! Snap out of it, please..!" Iroha, despite her obvious shaking from both the strange effect that hearing the name 'Utsuro' had, as well as her own slight fear from seeing their leader like this, stepped closer to gently tug at his sleeve in an attempt to bring him back to reality.

"Y-You're not the only person who wants to meet Him..!"

She pauses, before turning her gaze back to answer the ask properly, though still holding on to Nikei. "I.. I don't know.. I want that day to come as soon as possible too, b-but I haven't thought of.. how I'd thank Master Utsuro.."

Nikei violently put his arm away so that Iroha stopped holding onto it, showing an expression full of disgust and envy, while saying the words “Back off !”. She in turn yelped and jumped back, clutching her sketchbook close and using it to cover the lower half of her face while she stared downwards, her feet nervously shuffling in place. A soft sniffle escaped her.

“Hmmm?” There’s the pitter patter that footsteps leave behind as the black-haired Mikado Sannoji peers into the room, carrying the tablet-computer that powered his Alter Ego tucked under his arm. “Mister Yomiuri? Miss Nijiue? Ah- if I’m not intruding, I heard quite... loud... laughter. Is everything alright?”

After receiving no response, he started over to where the two were. “Is it an ask? Mister Yomiuri, you should- at the very least- tell me when we receive one that applies to me. I’ve relied on Mister Makunouchi and Miss Magorobi for the past ones....” Sigh. “Ah, well. Let bygones be bygones, I suppose. Now let me see.... just what exactly is it that has you both so--”

A sudden, loud BANG echoes through the room as Mikado slammed his fist against a nearby desk in surprise, eyes wide as he scans the name in front of him again and again and again and again and again-

“Aaah... Aah.... Haah...? Mmf.. Haaah... You... Hahah...! Utsuro... Master Utsuro!~ Haaah~”

He paused before clearing his throat, cheeks now red not in the weird, drooly, flustered state that he was in before but instead in embarrassment. 

“Aah... M-My apologies. I was simply... caught off guard is all...”

“Haaah... ah... What ever shall I do...~? I think- yes, yes, thanking Him would be a start. Even simply seeing Him again would be enough... aah..!” 

“...If... I were to be honest. I don’t even care about His Fortune. Simply seeing Him again... aah- if I could meet Him again, my life would be... fulfilled..”

Mikado’s Alter Ego is strangely silent.

Meanwhile, Nikei briefly looked at the newcomer(s) then stormed out, leaving Iroha and Mikado with a loud door shutting noise - he probably would have broke the door if he was stronger.

“A-Ah! Nikei, wait-!” Iroha hurriedly wiped away her tears before turning to follow after. On her way out, she narrowly dodged bumping into Hajime, but otherwise didn’t acknowledge the other while she pitter pattered off.

“..Anyone care to explain what’s happened this time?” Hajime sighed, making his way over and scanning the ask. “Thank him, obviously. If there’s anything else I could do, I would, but as of now there isn’t anything I can think of that’d be enough to repay him for what he’s done.”

“You, on the other hand,” He sharply turns to Mikado. “Would it kill you to not bust a nut every time Master Utsuro’s name is mentioned? A little decency would be appreciated, especially in front of Him.”

Those are some bold words from a guy who wears shorts like those, but that’s not the point.

“Haaah...-?!” The Mikado in question tensed, quickly snapping out of whatever flustered trance he had worked himself into to turn to the boxer. “Mister- Mister Makunouchi-! I haven’t a clue what you’re talking about...! Aaah..-”

Meanwhile, the clacking of boots can be heard as Emma opens the door, partially out of breath. Glancing around the room at the other two, she lets out a long s i g h. “What happened to cause Nikei to storm into his room and start screaming? Roha didn’t seem to want to explain-” The actress blinks for a minute, staring at the screen.

Her normally calm demeanor shifts slightly as she pauses for dramatic effect. “If I were to see Master Utsuro again... I would thank him for everything... Do what I can, of course, to repay him for everything-” A sharp inhale as Emma pauses again.

A silence occurs in this void place. There is nothing there not even a single soul.

This place is despairly empty.

Suddenly, this place lightens and life appears little by little.

Later, a young man appears and yells :

"POWER OF FIYAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!"

"Huh, W-Where am I?" The Young man is confused, he looks around this place. But it's seems to be empty.

"Where did everyone go?" ask the young man.

A Mysterious Shadow appears.

The Shadow sighs and look at the place with an expressionless face.

"...Boring"

The Shadows see a big silhouette running straight at them. They dodge the big silhouette who where surprised and fall to the ground. The Shadow looks at the man in front of them with a expressionless face.

"Pathetic..."

The man gets up and look the person in front of him. The man is confused because the only person who he meets look like someone but he feels but that the person in front of him is not that person.

"H-Huh? W-Who are you?"

"Utsuro" Simply replied Utsuro. "Consider me as the Ultimate Lucky Student"

The other man, not convinced by this answer yells.

"WHAT A WEAKLING!!!!!!!"

"Annoying..." Replied Utsuro.

"Your face is weak! Your voice is weak! NOW SHOUT WITH THE BURNING PASSION OF FIYAAAAAHHH"

Utsuro sighs at the man.

"... Why am I stuck with this thing?"

Those words pissed off the man.

"ARE YOU CHALLENGING ME???? HUH ???"

Utsuro did not reply to that man. Wondering himself why he is with this man and why he is here.

The other man on the other side, is uncomfortable with the other man silence and realized that he didn't introduce himself to Utsuro and introduce himself.

"Umm... Anyways, it's nice to meet ya! I'm the Ultimate Firefighter. Shinji Kasai "

"I don't care. " Replied Utsuro.

"WHAT???"

"Your are wasting my time. Good bye."

Utsuro sighs and walks away.

Shinji angry at Utsuro runs toward him and screams at the Lucky Man. :

" SO YOU ARE RUNNING AWAY, HUH???" Screams Kasai Shinji while Utsuro shows a annoying face. "FROM NOW ON, I'M YOUR BIG BRO AND YOU MUST RESPECT ME AS YOUR BIG BRO!!! I'LL TRAIN YAAAAA!!!!!"

"... Boring."

"I’m not much of a dog lover, more like the opposite, actually. Dogs are way too aggressive ? They are blood-thirsty animals with ‘cute’ fur. I -” Pause. “Well, I like cats ! We actually have a cat, her name’s Kounna. And by we I mean - everyone - mainly me - except Mikado and Mikado. Why on Earth would I trust them with a cat ?!”

“Apart from that, I really like cats. They’re probably the living beings that understands me the best, even if Kounna won’t listen to me when I tell her not to sleep on my articles.”

"I love them both! Dogs are cute, cats are cute..! Dogs are a little noisy but also super snuggly and don't try to push over my paint water, cats are quiet but only snuggly if they feel like it and try to push my paint water sometimes like Kounna.."

"But I can't get mad at Kounna! She doesn't listen to what I say, but she's one heck of a model! Check out this one painting I got of her loafing on Hajime while he was lying down! He was even scratching behind her ear too~!"

Iroha began opening her sketchbook to show, but she let out a surprised yelp as Hajime swiped up the book and held it out of her reach. Only for a short second before he mumbled a soft "'Sorry." and passed it back to her, pushing his shades up.

"I.. Both dogs and cats are nice, but I'm not an animal person. Cleaning out fur's not my thing when I've already got other stuff I get busy with, and I specifically told Nikei that Kounna would be his responsibility alone, alright..?!"

“Like Mister Makunouchi, I’m not a very big fan of animals in general... Ah- that isn’t to say I’m particularly against keeping pets, just that I simply don’t have the time to do such things, as I’m often caught up with work. Despite the fact Miss Kounna often likes to interrupt that, seeing as I have a lot of things on my desk she can knock to the ground. She does, however, have a lovely, messy ginger fur coat that I’m quite fond of, fuhu....” “...But- aah... my answer still stands. I’m not fond of either in particular.”

“As an Alter Ego, I do share the same opinions about household pets as Father does. However! As I’m relieved of the frustrations of having to work with a cat trying to bound itself to the top of the monitor, I must admit I do appreciate Miss Kounna a little bit more each day. Ahahaha, would it be too much to consider that cat my hands into the mortal realm? I do believe we have acquainted ourselves, after all! Fuhuhu!~ Don’t speak a word of this to Mister Yomiuri, but Miss Kounna misbehaving? I quite like to attribute that to myself.”

“That’s a tough question to answer, really... I love both! I’ve worked with both dogs and cats on set and to be honest they’re both really great! Especially the smaller breeds of dogs and the fluffy ones. But I’d have to say I’m way more biased to cats, especially considering we have Kounna but... Cats are just so fluffy and great listeners when I need to talk to them! And besides, I just love cuddling with kitties in general...”

"Think I already answered this one, so I'll sit this out.."

"I like the real Mikado! We don't really talk much- b-but sometimes we play Minecraft together! Last time we played Bedwars! And uh- he told me to defend the bed, but I got nervous and started bridging, and.. I-I'll just leave it at that he's nice..!"

"Uh.. The screen one.. He's.. I don't know..? He makes some real scary faces sometimes, and he always makes me do stuff to annoy Nikei, or else he'll do something terrible.. I know I should probably not, but I don't wanna make him unhappy! Even if it’s Nikei that becomes unhappy instead.."

"Well, that’s a bit of a hard question but uh- The real Mikado is a good enough guy, just wish we’d talk a bit more... But he occasionally he helps out when I need to practice lines, even if it’s just me failing the same line 30 times when he’s working on something, but his criticism helps!”

“As for the AI Mikado.... He’s a bit stubborn and annoying and things sometimes, but he’s alright, yknow? Just takes a little bit to warm up and get used to some of his antics, or for him to warm up to you and not call you names 24/7.”

"... What I think of them ? I think I already said it, they’re just heartless bastards with no right to live. The best I could wish for them is to get run over by a car. And - Iroha, why - were you the one who put salt in my coffee ?! You-”

Iroha takes a noticeable sidestep away from Nikei, avoiding eye contact and softly humming a tune while she feigns innocence. Suddenly her sketchbook pages have become very interesting to her.

“I’ve also answered this, have I not? Ah, hold your woe! Hold your sadness! It is quite alright, my dearest friends and companions!”

The black-haired Mikado turned the screen off briefly and set it down. 

“I’m not quite sure what to say about myself, so I shall skip that segment and move straight to the A-E I’ve been developing- ‘AI Mikado’, as you call him. Well... there isn’t much to say in that regard, either. However, I am surprised at the quite theatrical persona he’s taken up, despite being based off of me... Ah- I suppose that could be due to having a boost of confidence because of the large amounts of knowledge he could acquire in short amounts of time, but I doubt you’d want to hear me ramble about that, ahahah....” “In conclusion, he can be quite pleasant to be around, when he isn’t teasing the rest (particularly Mister Yomiuri). He often pitches ideas which I find to be quite agreeable- however, that is to be expected, seeing as he was made to be alike to me in every way, aha...”

I'd like to ask Hajime and The Rat.. I Mean uh.. AI Mikado two Deep Personal Questions : Do you think lies are necessary to have a long relationship or honesty is the best policy? And This is very Embarrassing to ask but.. Do you believe in true love? Just curious

"Pretty sure I heard everywhere that communication is the number one thing for a long-lasting relationship, so I say honesty is the best policy. That and, if the other person really loves you, then they'd accept the truth about you no matter what, right?"

"As for true love.. It's nice to think about, but I don't know if I believe in it or not. Guess it's just 'cause I've never really loved someone in that way."

“Oh? You mean to ask the sentient artificial intelligence about love and relationships, of all things? Ahaha, I do admire your courage!” “Well, since you are asking for my opinion... I shall provide! Whilst in some regards telling your significant other the truth would be the best option, it is my opinion that sometimes lies are necessary. For example, if I wanted to tell Mister Yomiuri his hat suited him, or that Mister Makunouchi’s shorts fit with the whole ‘tough guy’ aesthetic he seems to be reaching for! Fuhuhu~! Both of them, lies- but you see why they might be necessary?” “True love can be quite the interesting story device, but I have no particular proof it exists. There is no scientific proof to my knowledge that people can have ‘soulmates’, so as much fanfiction there is about its existence, I would have to say- No, I do not believe in it. "Me? Precious? I don't think- Um-" Iroha squeaked, covering her face with her sketchbook. "I-I'll take it! Thanks!"

"Uh- Not sure what exactly you mean by 'precious', but I'll assume it's a good thing. Real kind of you to say that."

"... You’re not being honest, are you ? Hardly any of us is ‘precious’. I guess that you wanted to let them know that you like them. Good for you and them then.”

Nikei walks away. Kindness isn’t his cup of tea.

“My, my! I can’t say I receive compliments often- both from this group and others- however, if I were to be candid about it, you are as well! Why, this ‘ask’ has given me the courage to approach dear Nicky~Wicky again! Let us be the best of friends, Mister Yomiuri!~”

Mikado, the real one, lowers the screen in front of his face to respond himself, smiling and averting his gaze. 

“Ah... your compliment is much appreciated, Mx Reimuu. You have my deepest thanks, ahah...”

Iroha, has being part of VOID given you any creative inspiration for your paintings?

"Oh for sure! There's a little bit of travelling involved in our search, so I've gotten to see some new sights and let me tell you! I've gotten sooo much inspiration for a bunch of paintings I should really get to doing properly sometime!"

"Uh, I-It's a little hard to describe though, but I do sketches on the go so! I-If you don't mind seeing messy pencil lines, um.." Iroha fumbled with her sketchbook for a bit, before turning it around and raising it up to allow better viewing of the drawings inside.

The sketches themselves are a little hard to see, being made of light pencil strokes, but aside from that were surprisingly neat; clear drawings of city squares that somehow managed to be distinct from one another, fairytale-esque landscapes of thriving forests, sandy coasts and fair skies that seem like they'd be even more enchanting once painted in, and even a few portrait-like doodles of the different Void members. One page in particular has all the members together, including a blank base with what seems to be either really fluffy or really messy hair, all of them looking happy in a sunny meadow-like background. And on the page right after is what looks to be Emma posed gracefully like the goddess she is. Her long, luscious hair conveniently covering her b-

Iroha squeaked and shut the book closed before anything else could’ve been seen. "Y-You all saw nothing!"

"Yeah, uhm- those are some of the pieces I've got planned, all inspired by Void in one way or another!"
