It’s been ten years

Ten years since the first ever telltale walking dead game has been released

This game has had such a huge impact on my life and I can’t thank the creators of this game enough for that

I remember when I was younger in 2012/2013 being terrified of this game because I was always scared of zombies. It wasn’t until early 2016 that I decided to pick up the game again and I fell in love with it. I watched this YouTuber cryaotic play through the whole first season and I was entirely hooked. I watched every gameplay up until the end of season three

Then in the end of 2018 when the final season was announced and the first episode was released, I decided to make this blog seeing as the fandom was still fairly small at the time and I wanted to be one of the first people to make an ask blog for the cast of season 4

And as time went on I gained so many wonderful followers and have gained so many amazing friends and memories. And in April of 2019 when the final episode was released and telltale was finally done, I felt complete. The story that I had grown up with over the past couple of years was finally complete

And now even though I don’t post as much as I use to on this blog, I am still forever grateful for what this blog has done for me and what this game has done for all of us. I can’t thank the creators, voice actors, and all of the wonderful people who worked on this amazing game enough. This game has made such a wonderful impact on my life and I will forever be grateful for it because of that

So thank you to the fandom and thank you to telltale, your memory will forever live on in us

But that would have to wait until we have enough cows to kill one for meat. Right now we only have a couple that we need for milk and other things

Do you know that you cuddle like a Koala? -For your writing thing, Clemsim?

Clementine was reading a book in bed when the door to her room opened and in came Aasim who had an incredibly tired look on his face. “You okay Kit?” She asked as he closed the door behind him and walked over without a word. Not saying anything, he climbed into bed and immediately cuddled up to her, wrapping his arms and legs around her tightly as he buried her face in her neck

“Ohhh. It’s that kind of day huh?” Clementine hummed as she set her book down and pulled him close in a tight hug. She felt him nod into her neck and snuggle even closer to her. “I get it, Sim. You can stay here as long as you want.” She hummed and kissed his forehead before pulling him closer

As they cuddled, she could feel his tense body slowly begin to relax as he melted into her embrace. Clementine took the liberty to run her fingers through his dark hair which caused him to let out a low and quiet groan of content, happy at the affection he was receiving from his girlfriend. She could tell that he was happy because she could feel his grip around her tightening

“Do you know that you cuddle like a koala?” Clementine asked in a musing tone as she looked down at him. He gave a single nod in response to her question before only snuggling closer to her. She couldn’t help but chuckle in amusement before pressing another kiss to his cheek. “You’re adorable do you know that?” She mused as she began to rub his back. To which Aasim only let out a defiant hum as if to say that he wasn’t in fact adorable. “Well, I think you are whether you want to believe it or not, you are adorable.” Clementine told him firmly before letting out a hum of content of her own

Shortly after saying that, Clementine heard Aasim quietly yawn followed by his grip around her loosening. “Yeah, I’m tired too baby. Let’s take a nap, I think we both deserve it.” She hummed tiredly here’s before shifting around a bit to get comfortable before pressing one final kiss to his forehead before cuddling up to him and letting her eyes close as they both drifted off to sleep

Nightmares/comfort- Aasim

Smoke was all that Aasim could smell, flames dancing all around him as the school was engulfed in the raging blaze. The distant screams of those that he loved trapped inside filled his ears and he found himself falling to his knees. This was all his fault. Everyone he cared about was dead and it was all because of him. As the burning hot flames grew closer and closer, Aasim gripped his hair in his hands as he let out a blood curdling, heart wrenching scream

Sitting up with a start, a strangled gasp was caught in Aasim’s throat as he tried to control his erratic breathing. Tears filled in his eyes as he reached his hands up and tugged at his hair, his chest heaving as sobs escaped from him and he pulled his knees into his chest. All of the noise that he was making had woken up his partners. Well Clementine had woken up and once she had known what was going on, she woke up Louis

Slowly sitting up beside him, Clementine reached over and carefully placed a hand on his shoulder, frowning when she felt him jump underneath her touch. “Hey, it’s okay, Sim. You’re safe, you’re back in your room. You were having a nightmare. It’s okay.” She reassured him as she reached up and carefully took his hands away from his hair, lacing her hands with his so that he could squeeze them if he needed to

By this time Louis was awake and was sitting up as well, watching this all with a worried frown. “Was it the same one he had before?” He asked softly as he looked over at Clementine. “I think so.” She told him softly as she rubbed her thumbs over Aasim’s hands to try and soothe him. This wasn’t the first time Aasim had woken up in a panic from a nightmare. Louis nodded before moving closer and carefully wrapping his arms around Aasim’s waist from behind, making sure not to move to fast and scare him

Once he had him securely in his arms, Louis began to hum a tune before singing an old song that his mother use to sing when he was younger. “Quand il me prend dans ses bras. Il me parle tout bas. Je vois la vie en rose.” Louis continued to sing the soft song until eventually Aasim’s sobs died down to just mere sniffles and whimpers and his shaking slowly stopped. “There we go baby.” Clementine whispered to him softly before moving closer and hugging him as well, kissing his cheek when she did so

“I-I’m sorry for w-waking you two up.” Aasim murmured softly, reaching up to wipe away a few remaining tears. “Don’t apologize at all bunny. We would rather be awake to help you rather then sleep and let you suffer alone.” Louis told him softly, leaning down and kissing his head before hugging him closer. Aasim sniffed softly before finally giving in to the snuggles his partners were giving him. “I love you guys so much.” He murmured softly as they all laid back down in bed, him snuggled up between his partners. “We love you too Aasim.” Clementine and Louis whispered back to him before they all eventually fell back asleep

Clouis hurt/comfort drabble pls

Clementine could feel a lump forming in her throat as she heard the faint piano music coming from down the hall. The music was beautiful yes but the only problem was that every other note would be botched. She knew that Louis was trying to relearn how to play his piano with one less finger and clearly it was different for him

Walking into the music room, she saw him sitting on his piano bench, slightly hunched over as he replayed the same melody over and over desperately trying to get it right but cursing under his breath when he ultimately failed. Clementine couldn’t help but feel guilty. It was her fault that Louis lost his finger. If only she had told AJ to make a move, but she did nothing. Sighing quietly to herself, she walked further into the room

“Hey Lou. Whatcha doing?” She asked softly as she walked over to him. Louis was quiet for a split moment before eventually speaking. “Just trying to play that song I played for you the night we first kissed. But it’s a bit harder then I remember it to be.” He told her almost musingly, smiling at her to try and convince her that he was fine. “It’s not easy having one less finger. Believe me I know.” Clementine told him before taking a seat next to him, holding out her hand where her ring finger was missing. “And you know, you promised that you would teach me how to play. Maybe we can both learn together?” She asked as she looked up at him. Louis paused for a moment before smiling and nodding, wrapping his own arm around her waist and pulling her close

“I think I would like that”

Sick day- Aasim

“How’s he doing?” Clementine asked as she approached Louis once he came walking out of Aasim’s dorm. “Ruby’s still checking up on him. Says he still has a fever but I managed to get him to drink a little bit of water and Mitch got him a hot water bottle. Despite his fever he’s shivering like crazy.” Louis explained to her as he crossed his arms over his chest. Clem let out a sigh of her own and leaned against the nearby wall. “I told him not to go hunting out in that blizzard and he did it anyways. Why does he never listen?” She muttered quietly with a worried frown, but apparently not quite enough for Louis not to hear

“You know Aasim. He’s got a heart of gold and is also a stubborn as hell. He wasn’t gonna let anyone go hungry this winter and even if you went out after him, he wasn’t gonna come back until he brought back enough food for everyone.” Louis told her as he looked over at her, causing her to look back up at him. “I know. I guess that’s why we love him don’t we?” She mused with a small smile on her lips to which Louis smiled back. “That we do.” He hummed softly before looking over when Ruby came walking out

“His fever is still high but it should hopefully break soon. Just keep getting fluids into him and keep him warm. And also try to get him to eat. That poor boy is as pale as a ghost. He needs to eat.” Ruby explained as she looked over at the two of them. “Well that’s why I brought this.” Clementine told her as she held up a bowl of still warm deer stew. “Omar had made it not too long ago and gave me this bowl to bring to Aasim.” She explained to her. “That will do it. A bowl of hot stew will do wonders for Aasim.” Ruby told her with a smile before looking over at Louis. “Think you can give me a hand down in the nurse’s office for a bit Lou?” She asked as she looked over at him. “Sure thing Ruby, see you later Clem.” Louis called before walking down the hall with Ruby

Once she was alone, Clementine walked into Aasim’s dorm room with the bowl of stew. Sure enough when she got inside, she saw Aasim curled up in bed, his arms wrapped tightly around the hot water bottle he had. And even though he had at least five heavy blankets on him, Clementine could still see him shivering underneath them. Frowning sympathetically, she made her way over to Aasim’s bed and sat down in a chair that was pulled away from his desk and placed in front of his bed

“Hey there kit. I brought you some stew, made fresh from Omar’s pot.” She told him with a small smile as she reached over and rested her hand over Aasim’s on the bed, biting back a frown when she felt how warm his skin was. “Th-Thank you C-Clem.” Aasim said through chattering teeth and tried to sit up but Clementine stopped him. “Hey, you don’t need to sit up. You need your rest. Here, I’ll just feed it to you so you can keep your strength.” She offered to him and he nodded, laying back down in bed

Picking up the spoon from the bowl, Clementine scooped up a good portion of the stew before holding it out to Aasim for him to take. Leaning in, he ate the stew before settling back down. The feeling of the fresh warm stew in his stomach warmed his freezing body and he could already start feeling better. They both kept this up until eventually Aasim finished the bowl of stew and Clem placed the bowl on the nearby dresser. “Alrighty, scoot over. Time for get better cuddles.” She then said as she stood up from the chair

“W-What? No, I don’t want you getting sick.” Aasim protested weakly. “Nope, no arguments, you’re getting cuddles. You’re the one who went hunting out in a blizzard, now you get punished with cuddles.” Clem told him before climbing into bed with him and crawling under all the blankets. Once she was laying down next to him, she wrapped her arms around him and pulled him close, having him rest his head on her chest. “Now get some rest. You got a fever to break and I’m gonna be here for you.” She hummed before pressing a kiss to his forehead. Aasim found himself smiling tiredly. Even though he didn’t want Clementine to get sick, he was glad that she was there anyways. Snuggling close, he let his heavy eyelids close and finally drift off to sleep
