what is your biggest regret?

My biggest regret will always be not being the mother that my daughter deserved me to be. It’s something I'll have to carry for the rest of my days, and something that I’ll never be able to forgive myself for. Even if Wren ever finds it in her heart to truly forgive me.

What is it like living over a bar?

Loud and cramped. You get used to it, but I’ve recently given up on the lack of living space lifestyle in favor of moving in with Rowan. It’s definitely more quiet now, as well, so I just make sure to fill the silent with other kinds of noises.

do you want to get married someday?

What, to you? Unfortunately for you, I am happily taken. But in general? I wouldn’t say it’s something I’d necessarily need to do as long as I know we both love and committed to each other. But I’m not against the idea. Someday? Sure, who knows, why not?

We may never know, but I am pretty sure of it. All I know is I won’t have to share your attention, and I’m alright with this too. God, I hope she’ll give me that chance... I messed up with one child already, maybe it’s for the best that I won’t get to mess up another.

What is your best memory?

I know I’ve made plenty mistakes along the way and I’ve never been much of a mother, but the first time I saw Wren, when I held my baby for the first time... this is still my best memory ever.

Cursed Biography:

Becoming a mother should have been Roni’s greatest moment in life - and in a way, it really was, she had a daughter that she absolutely adored! But the young woman soon realized it wasn’t the lifechanging moment she thought it would be. With Wren’s father out of the picture, being a working single mother has been more than Roni could handle, and instead of giving her child the full attention she needed, the then young bartender found herself out and about every opportunity that she could. Work-free nights turned into full nights of partying and very bad mornings that followed, and before Roni knew it, her daughter was taken by child protective service and was placed with her twin sister, Cassie. It took Roni years to admit to herself that she was the sole person to blame for the situation. Wren deserved so much better than herself! She deserved someone like Cassie - her perfect goody two-shoes sister who’s never done wrong in her life! Roni loved her to bits, despite the many differences between the two, but she hated that Cassie was everything that Wren needed while she was the failed mother, over and over again, no matter how much she tried to make up for it over the years. It was like she was cursed to be a terrible mother. When Rowan Oxley came into her life, things started to change. Roni wasn’t the kind of woman to fall in love like a silly, smitten teenager, but she really fell for Rowan’s charms, and she fell for it fast and hard. It wasn’t always a perfect fairytale story, though. Roni’s careless behaviour and lifestyle that’s been causing her problems ever since she could remember threatened to take him away from her too, and it nearly did, but Roni was determined to hold onto the bright light that Rowan has brought into her life. Now, she was trying to rebuild her life with a man she loved by her side, a sister who’s been more supportive than ever, and a grown up daughter, who’d, hopefully, be willing to give her another chance to be the mother she always deserved.

Cursed persona? No. Had I known about my sister, I would have locked her up and never let that woman see the light of day ever again. Her memories would remain intact, and I’d be there every single day of her pathetic life to remind her that she failed.
