And here it is, Mika’s new design! She has changed quite a lot since the last time I drew her. Once I have the time, I will work on the character bio, but so far, the design is essentially finished!

I am still working on the re-design at the moment, but I changed up some things on the blog like Mika’s bio (I have yet to remove the current picture, it won’t let me), added some additional info for the rules page, and the blog’s description (which went from my old main blog at the time to my current personal blog)!

Here is Mika’s re-design that I am currently working on! It’s taking me a while, but so far I think her design fits her personality and theme much better then the original! I’m currently working on doing everything else digitally!

And I am back with a new drawing! The small babu in her full glory! I did some adjustments to the child version of Mika, which I think works a little bit better with her. She even has a musical note pin on her uniform!

Here’s a WIP of Mika as a child! Also, here’s a bit of some backstory!

As a child, Mika attended private schools and this is the type uniform that she decided to wear for most of her academic life. Her uniform consists of a white dress shirt with a black ribbon, a dark red v-neck sweater with white stripes, a knee length black skirt, thick gray stockings, and black mary janes with straps. She also liked her hair being done in braids, they were mostly held up in pigtails and had purple or pink shiny beads.

Of course, her shy and anxious nature was a lot worse back when she was young. Yet Mika was a curious and studious one, so she did well academically with some help. During this time, her interest in playing stringed instruments peaked thanks to her father being a musician. So she took up music classes and clubs.

Mika, are you alright?! Oh golly... Here! *The anon gives Mika some water and a sweet treat to get rid of the sour taste*

“Y… Yes, I’m alright! Thank you again!” With that, she carefully takes the cup of water and the gumdrop. “Is there any way to repay you?”

Luckily, she managed to throw out the nasty tasting gumdrop. Mika waved them off as a way to reassure them. “I’m fine, thank you though… I’ll go and get some water when I can find some.”

Here you go! *hands Mika a gumball that is filled with a very sour powder (But she doesn't know that :3)*

Her eyes lightened up at the offer, and the fact that the stranger offered to give her one seemed to draw her in. “Thank you very much, that really was nice of you!” Mika responds, popping it in her mouth. Her eyes then watered a bit from the sour taste after chewing on it for a while. So, the poor woman runs to the nearest trash can.
