“I keep saying I’m not comfortable with you, and no one listens to that,” Ren grumbled.

"Your safety should come first," Hiro said sternly. "If you aren't comfortable around her, that's alright. Who cares what people say. Be honest."

“Look, just drop it, okay? I did it for you. I supported you two against my better judgement. If I’m too jittery around her people are gonna talk. They’re a good match. I’m not screwing this up for him.”

"She really isn't," Hiro added. "I can understand why she doesn't like me. But why Ren?"

Ren raised an eyebrow, “She from a family of assassins. Scary’s what she does. She’s fine,”

He was lying out of his ass in saying she was fine, but Hiro didn’t need to know that.

"No kidding," Yui said. "She seemed super scary."

Ren just shook his head, “You’ve made that clear. It doesn’t matter now. Sei’s… Hiromi may try too hard with me, but Seiichirou’s actually happy.”

Ren was frozen, staring at Hiro. He looked back at Yui, “Why didn’t you tell me he told you this? You knew about this and don’t get why he freaks me out?”

Ren slowly turned to Hiro, “And how many other people have you told?” He asked coolly.

Ren’s head snapped back, “You know what he did to my brother?”

“If he’s your friend, I don’t really want you to know what happened. I just want to know you’re okay,”
