Sorry I don’t post much these days. In fact I’m kinda popping in to kind of just say that I’m putting the blog on hiatus.

(thank @ask-reboot-turbo for the unintentional gif-inspo haha)

But yeah. I’m not sure how long I’ll be gone for. I may or may not eventually come back but in case I do, I’m kind of... making up a little excuse for myself. At least for now.

I’m gonna presume that HB’s cabinet was moved from the arcade (local to Reboot and co.), and before he left, he very likely gave Ignition a copy of his memory files. (In case you’re here for ship feels or somethin’).

Ah…Renardo feels bad. He frightened his boss when he came into work today.

To be fair he was a little rough around the edges but he is fine!

Sort of... I don’t think I’m firm enough with her, but I’m trying that ‘click’ training thing. Got one of those- little click toys and I give her little bits of scrap code (text files from pastebin’s dump log). I still can’t bring myself to stay mad at her when she misbehaves, though. That’s probably my downfall, there...

Daisy had said something.

Oh no, she had said something and now she was looking at him for his opinion. And he’d been distracted, too.

His eyes shot to Ignition for a brief second with his eyelids squinting ever slightly. Then he popped his chin up on his palm and offered an apologetic smile.

“Day, I’m real sorry. My mind wandered for a second, there...”

Not necessarily a lie. But the princess gave Felix’s arm a flick of her fingers and a playful eyeroll before carrying on--this time with a bit more attention from HB.

No thanks to Ignition.

Talk to Me, Baby

Ignition met Felix’s gaze for the brief instant it was on him, and he grinned his best, shit-eatingist grin.

Felix was talking.

They were enjoying a nice meal at Burgertime with a few of their more companionable sprites, and as Daisy carried on their discussion with a loud guffaw of agreement, Felix felt it.

He’d been making eyes at him all evening, and while charming at times, Felix had to nudge him with his foot across the table.

‘No,’ he mouthed, and shoved a french fry between his lips.

Ignition could be charming, but right now he was anything but.

And yet somehow his lips were still turning up at their corners.
