ooc: Bronycon Donation Drive

Hi guys! Long time no see! Sorry this blog has been dead, life has a way of keeping me from doing the things I want. BUT THAT'S NOT WHAT THIS POST IS ABOUT

Even though I haven't been able to update my ask blog, I've still been drawing them ponies and I've got plans to go to bronycon! (I'm carpooling with the mods of Ask Acetic Rarity, Inkblot Answers and Ask Glittershell)

I'm asking for donations to help me afford the trip (while still affording my bills) and I'd really appreciate your help!

In exchange for donations of $5 and above, I'm sending out my own custom trading cards!

The first batch just happens to be of Rarity and Sweetie Belle. (Coincidence? I THINK NOT)

Each card will be signed by me and come in a clear protective sleeve. 

I'm also planning on making as many more cards with other characters as I can with the time I've got.

P.S. : I do, in fact, still have plans to revive this blog. It's just a matter of finding enough time to manage it at the level of quality I want to maintain

So I've pretty much decided.

I'll be starting this blog over from scratch to give myself more to work with, story-wise. 

Don't worry, I won't delete the old posts. 

In the meantime, I'll be contributing to A Touch Of Diamonds and as always you're welcome to check out my Art Blog and Personal Blog to see what I'm up to.

I'll let you guys know when asks are open for the 'Grand Re-Opening of Ecstatic Rarity'. I'll be keeping the ask box open, just in case someone wants to contact me though this blog, but it's unlikely I'll be drawing any responses until I get everything all set up and looking nice.

PS: To those who were concerned about my neck injury, I finally managed to see a professional and things are looking well. For the most part, I'm feeling better and I'll be taking some physical therapy to hopefully prevent issues in the future.

#A Touch Of Diamonds

A little ooc update about the mod

Talk about poor timing. Right when I was feeling inspired and ready to kickstart this ol' blog, fate had to come and punch me in the face and it has made me quite the opposite of ecstatic.

Long story short, a neck injury from my childhood came back to bite me a few days ago.  My neck pain continued to get worse until it got to the point in which I couldn't even hold my head upright. 

Yesterday I got a neck brace to help me support my head and keep me from bending my neck in ways I shouldn't. (IT'S SO TACKY AND UNFABULOUS) It's been helping. Also I've got my family here with me now and they're helping to take care of me while I'm immobile. 

Anyways. I'm seing a doctor who specializes in this sort of thing today. Hopefully he can get this neck problem straightened out. (HO HO HO, IT'S FUNNY BECAUSE MY VERTEBRAE ARE CROOKED) 

On the bright side. Laying still has given me plenty of time to brainstorm about future plans for this blog! :D

I've got plans for this blog.

Whether or not I put those plans in to action is a different story. But I'm hoping I'll have the time and motivation to do so. 

Possible changes include:

a complete revamp in style

a clean slate, introducing a different backstory (one that makes a little more sense and gives me more to work with)

And dont worry if I do decide to start the blog's story (what little there is) over, I'll be sure to keep all the posts up.

In the meantime, for those who might be interested, I just an art blog for myself today. So maybe check it out if you'd like to see what sort of things I draw outside of this blog. There's plenty of pony goodness. (Also links to places other places you can find me on the internet)

Anyways. I apologize for being so inactive here. Life gets in the way of a lot of things, unfortunately. I really really hope to get this blog up and running again!
