First of all, the art is probably gonna get worse. I know the stuff for this blog has never been my best work but now I’m just trying to stop worrying about my art and use this as glorified comic layout practice. The writing is still gonna be the same, but the visuals that go along with it are gonna be handled a little differently.

Second, this project is NOT my top priority. I have a bunch of other original stories I’m constantly working on and a whole ass day job, so sometimes my crack AUs (pun intended) need to take a backseat.

Third, I’m gonna be significantly shortening the story. If there’s enough demand I might add some smaller arcs I had planned back in but there’s no promises. I want this to be actually manageable for one person to create in their free time, so I’m cutting a lot of the fluff (as much as it pains me)

Fourth, I’m just so glad that literally anyone even voted in the poll, and the fact that people remember this silly little blog at all. Y’all are the best and THE reason I’m continuing this story at all.

So I hope after all this y’all still wanna stick around, I’ll be waiting for ya ;)

Is this blog dead?

Ah…. It’s really been like… 8 months… •_•

To put it bluntly, I guess so? I’ve thought about revisiting this project a bunch of times but it’s just never seemed like a good time for me. I know it’s probably disappointing to a lot of people but I’ve just lost some of the drive to keep doing this passion project.

But I’m still proud of the story I wanted to tell, so it hurts to just only have it in my head… so… I dunno, let’s try something?

I think I have 3 main options when it comes to this blog:

1- Try to continue the story at my own pace. If enough people want me to, I’ll try and set aside time to start working on this story again. I don’t know how long it would take to reach a conclusion, but with continued support it might happen eventually!

2- scrap the project and just tell y’all my ideas. Make a big post explaining the plot outline, characters, symbolism, all that jazz. It would be a way to definitely get my ideas out there way sooner, and once they’re out there it’s totally free game to do whatever the hell y’all want with this AU

3- Leave it up to interpretation! Whether people wanna tell me their ideas or someone wants to adopt the concept entirely it’s all up for grabs. It’s completely free real estate
