I don’t usually post videos with my normal face in them, but when I do they look ridiculous.

Over the past few months you’ve no doubt heard me mention offhandedly on this tumblr already that i’ve been working on a documentary for Cosplay over the past few months, well now it’s finally happening. 

On the 16th of December we’re starting filming for this 20 minute piece, and we really need your help to cover some of the costs! 

I want to be able to show cosplay in a different light to how it has been approached in other short films and documentary. There’s an element of art about the hobby that I feel no one else has been able to catch. Instead of making the film entirely about some of the basics and debate over “What is Cosplay” and “Why do people do such a childish thing” I would rather that these be subtle messages that are perhaps answered for themselves within the first few minutes, leaving the rest of the film to cover some of the rest of the themes and issues whilst keeping a fun atmosphere.

Hello All!

Yes, I know I haven't been online for a LONG LONG time but I really need your help, guys. Cosplay in my area and many areas in the UK is still very misunderstood and generally looked at as something out of the norm and bizarre. Me and many others want to rid that stereotype and teach people why we do what we do.

I know it is like this nearly everywhere, let's face it, it's something out of the norm so we expect people to react differently. But if we can make even a few people understand, then we can show that it is something that isn't so "odd" and that it is a form of creativity; it isn't simply "dress-up".

Close friends of mine are filming a short series of documentaries called "Why I Play" which shows REAL cosplayers and their thoughts and views on why they cosplay, when, and how it impacts them. EVERY penny will count towards this, I will be being involved in this too to spread the message of this hobby we share and to promote it in a positive, understandable light.

Because I have so many other friends, and I taste their cuisine, I learn to enjoy it! Belgium's chocolate is the best - and Japan's sushi is gorgeous too! There's many more lovely foods, but it'd take all night to list~!

(( Not for good sweetie, I'm on hiatus, but I'll be popping back every so often for a very mini-update!

I'll be back for a while atleast in the Summer though, when school is done!
