Surprise baby!

I was keeping some giant prickly sticks (extatosoma tiaratum) a few months back, but they all died of a mold outbreak.

But apparenly one of the eggs got into some dirt of my springtail farm (i honestly have no idea how) and it hatched!

I'm keeping it in a jar for now but will set up a more permanent enclosure soon™.
