I had almost forgotten how healing a visit to the museum can be❤️ I was lucky to see the Cézanne drawing show @metmuseum I could feel my eyes begin to soften as I entered the gallery and gaze at the sublime drawings. The visit ended in the garden that I have sat and relaxed in many time. There was different feel with the Pandemic still over us. A light raining was falling and lovey quite feel over us. When thinking of summer in Japan, many things come to mind, like fireworks, yukata, and furin wind chimes. Another iconic symbol of this season are katorisenko, or mosquito coils. 💮 The smoke rising from it is a symbol of the heat, humidity, and memories of summer. We never really officially celebrated our wedding anniversary last spring, and also we had been wanting to celebrate both of us getting our second vaccines. so when I heard that Balthazar had re-opened I knew that there was a reason why we had waited! Over there have been so many occasions that were spent in this iconic New York restaurant. We toasted this new chapter of New York over rosé Champagne.
