It was almost interesting seeing mortals will powers to survive. Survival skills  were always put into the test in situations like the Hydras, Orochi, Tamamo, Zeus and now even the Odin Crisis.  Sore-spot from damages of allowing himself be easily deceived, to allow such complete trash get the better of him then blindingly betraying Olympus and his own father when  he was defeated. 

Wouldn’t allow himself show it or acknowledge he was grateful to these mortals in reminding him what the his vision was for Olympus and his family.  Her words were high spirited making Ares approved of silently. Mortal life were short  but sheer fire, determination, will to succeed were things that made them almost seem worthy to him. No they were worthy but acts of softness wouldn’t win wars. 

“Woman! you still have spirit. Good. War has always been simple contrast for me.. Battles is for glory and honorable bragging rights, It’s what makes conquerors and empires thrive.  Once you lose your confidence, courage, let mind gets clouded, and let your will be broken mean you already was defeated.  

Let’s make this clear with no misunderstandings, Win battles you always have your strategy and your agendas in why you fight.  Hence why Two gods of War here, Me as your overwhelming strength and Athena as your cunning wisdom. 

I’m familiar with war tactics but I shine brighter being the powerful tank role.   Until Athena comes.. I say we should have scouts keep eyes on important bases and strongholds. Strategy wise We Will play Defensive until opportunities reveal favorable to act upon, that’s how we’ll Survive. I shall be in front lines when necessary.  Can’t give Athena satisfaction of stepping in early to help. ”

Orochi he could care less of, it was Odin that would have to look out.  Betrayal  he dealt, the Olympian prince would return that favor in twenty-folds if not more. Golden eyes spot one of the victims of merged worlds created by Orochi but brought back by Zues.

I have chosen you to help me deal with my mission .“he smirked cockily declaring him as an winner rather than calling him pawn in his plans. though to others gods it’d be obvious he’d have prove him,God of War that he’s not  pawn like others. Ares had doubt any he made under his service would prove to be nothing more than pawn. Unlike amazons, the amazon were worthy to call upon enough he allowed them call him father. humans were humans but special. enough that he couldn't let them be involved in this. 

“You’ll be rewarded for aiding. Powers that’ll make you unrivaled in the mortal world..You have only this one chance. Do you join me? “ seriously spoke warning him its one time deal. Rejecting him he’d not gain another opportunity.
