"Rrgh..." What the hell kind of question was that? Definitely not the snake. The Herald was a nuisance, along with the Mage. Siubhan hated him and feelings were far from pleasant on his end as well. That just left...urgh. "Solanine then, if I had to choose. Mainly because she is the sole one left through process of elimination, and I suppose also because Bal cares for her as well." No, he wasn't pouting. Nor was he thinking of the two's childhood friendship. He certainly wasn't, but his tone may have carried some of the pout in it the next time he spoke.

"As for what to do together, I don't know. Spar? Something that requires minimal talking and minimal opportunity for her to try and annoy me."

He had felt scared plenty of times as a pathetic and helpless child in the manor. Even in the militia, he had rarely felt fear. Death didn't scare him. Maybe it was due to whatever pieces of him broke that one bloody night in the manor, but the prospect of dying had never been one to make him tremble. However...

Mhoirbheinn's gaze soon dropped, his expression sobering. "I still think back on it sometimes, when Bal nearly reverted. He's the strongest person I've ever met, but everyone has their limits. Even him. I fear that one day he may reach too far, let his confidence reign too strongly. How can I make him understand that he can be just as fallible as any other man?
