does exclusionist automatically equal aphobe?
No. Some exclusionists are ace, some of them can actually be fairly nice, they just disagree that ace or aro people are LGBT+. Aphobes are much more dangerous and much grosser. They’re usually the ones posting threats, death wishes, and disgusting jokes towards/about ace or aro people. So they’re not quite interchangeable but are often the same.

can you check if gry/ffin/ne/wt is an aphobe (or any sort of REG)? I know I've seen them before in context to the ace discourse, but on all the discourse blogs I know I've seen them, I can't find it anymore
Found a post where they specifically call themselves an aphobe, so, yeah. Also @ followed it’s just one n, nothing pops up if you use both

Some people on your watchlists are ace themselves you dummies
Being something does not exclude you from being shitty about something. And more often then not, those people are the exclusionists and not the aphobes.

Add des/troyjohn/lock to your list he's an exclusionist (look in his ace discourse tag) with an aphobic sideblog (allo/bertwesker) and also shames people for shipping johnlock (I know that isn't relates but it shows hes a bully)
Thanks, they’re def an exclusionist. And while I know basically nothing about Johnlock I can’t see how shipping it warrants harassment. Like jfc let ppl have their ships unless it’s actually toxic

private // hey, we're the user who sent in about un//sentiment. they used our ~discourse opinions~ against us just to try and prove why being ableist is okay, for one thing. they also run the blog poly//fragged - a blog for sys//course, but there is a HUGE overlap between system & a-spec exclusionism. I'm sorry that I'm really no help in gathering receipts, but we've blocked pretty much all of their blogs and don't like to trudge through it, and some things in question may be deleted now..
Since I can’t technically prove this I won’t say outright that they’re awful, But at least be very careful around this blog.

TBH most lesbians are aphobic
Anon please don’t send in lesbophobic shit like this. Both mods are gay girls. I understand there are a lot of lesbian aphobes but there are also a lot of gay ones, straight ones, bi ones, etc. Anyone can be an aphobe so please don’t target lesbians, especially to THIS blog.

If I may ask... how does one show an asexual character in one's story, rather than just telling about it? Gay and bi characters lend themselves to "conventional" romance fairly well, trans characters might casually discuss hormone therapy and fashion... is there any smoother way one might establish an asexual character than simply having them say "I'm asexual"?
Well, anon, this is gonna be a bit long, so I’m sorry, but I think this will help.
It partly depends on the character themself and where they place on the spectrum. If the character is going to be in a relationship, one way to establish it could be like a friend teasing the couple about something sexual and the ace character saying something along the lines of ‘oh, that’s not something I’m interested in’.
If they aren’t in a relationship, then things like that could still occur. Like a friend just teasing the ace character and they respond with a joke about how it isn’t their style.
From personal experience, here’s something that really made my own asexuality come to light. Right after I came out as ace, my older sister was iffy about if it’s really me. It wasn’t brought up much, so it didn’t come to mind for her much, and she ended up still making a lot of jokes at my expense, that could have somewhat sexual connotations. I always reacted somewhat awkwardly, just kind of laughing and then changing the subject. The last time I can remember this happening was when we were talking about some album cover and if it was or wasn’t kinkier than the lyrics to a song that we knew. I remember we we’re disagreeing and at one point she said ‘Well, now I know what you’re into’.
This upset me a lot. Partly because earlier that day I’d ALREADY gotten into an argument with someone who called me a ‘stupid twelve year old’ for thinking I was ace. (I was 14 or 15). I made a vague facebook post about how much I hated being invalidated and she later texted, asking if I was okay. She never outright apologized for what SHE did but she hasn’t made a joke about me like that since.
Using something like that, like awkward reactions to sexual jokes, or even outright not understanding (depending on your character’s personality) can help be an indication. Getting upset after a while because of said jokes, making (obviously not harmful) jokes about their lack of sexual attraction, and all that kind of stuff can work. And of course, if it isn’t said outright in the book than you, as the author, can always confirm it later.
THIS is a good post on writing asexual characters. I liked it a lot. If you ever have any other questions, I’d be willing to help! I hope you have fun writing!

I literally cannot believe no one submitted pro-gay, one of the most notorious and popular aphobes on tumblr. He's not even shy about it, just search "asexual" on his blog, it's all there. He's beyond exclusionist, he's "alloscum" (just like truscum except you only need to be allosexual to be considered lgbt)
Thank you

underzealous is an aphobe look up "aphobic" on their blog
I literally found no aphobic posts but I found some supporting ace people and I really don't know what you are trying to accomplish.

Shouldnt u change your url now since ur making block list for aphobes and exclusionist? It can be a bit misleading. Apologies.
It would be a good idea probably, but tbh I have no clue what to change it to. If anyone has any ideas feel free to hit us up

Y'all might want to think about adding @escapetopekaks to your aphobe watch list. He has said some extraordinary aphobic remarks to me over the last few days (Evidence is on my page, tagged with his username)
Yeah, there are LOTS of receipts. Thank you
