In The Nightmare Before Christmas there is like. A several day gap between when Lock, Shock and Barrel accidentally kidnap the Easter Bunny vs when they actually come back with Santa. Therefore I propose the headcanon that for days they tried every single one of the schemes they sang about in Kidnap The Sandy Claws and he just kept avoiding every single one on accident like a fucking looney tunes short
