haven’t posted here in literal years... but last month i made an alarming amount of progress on a project i’ve had in the back of my head for a long time: creating a more developed version of lucky palms using bridgeport and roaring heights rabbit holes. not a save file, but a full world edit! turns out you can rebuild an entire town in about four days when you’re just copying EA-built lots into CAW. 🤷🏿‍♀️

i’ve incorporated lots and homes from maybe ten other EA towns, most notably starlight shores (it’s vegas, baby). i’m also doing some light work with CAW like adding/deleting/moving around roads and cleaning up terrain paint where it no longer makes sense. i’m currently playtesting the first draft, but i hope to eventually share the finished version once i’m done cleaning up! ✌️

Probably your error with the card is that you didn't move the slot for sims sit. I discovered you did it with S3OC so I have no idea because I don't look too much to that. However in TSRW you can move the slot back :)

oh, really?? i haven’t used TSRW before — actually, this was the first time i’ve ever made cc. if i have time this weekend i’ll try fixing it!! thanks :)

ETA: to be honest, just get these instead, they're way better...

okay, so for anyone who doesn't want NPCs zipping around roaring heights in modern cars but also doesn't want to waste game time fixing up the premium content car thirty times, only for every single household to end up with the exact same car... yeah, anyway...

i've extracted four of the vintage cars from fast lane stuff and made them base game compatible for anyone that doesn't have it. i also made them a lot cheaper than they are in fls ($1000-$3000) to keep virtual property taxes down.

i mostly just did this for myself but i figured other people might be looking for more period-friendly cars. i tested them all a few times and everything seems to function. i hope no one's done this already because it took like my entire lunch break.

word to the wise: apart from the rock town 3000 on the far left, all of these have jacked up rigs. i couldn't find anything on how to fix this since i'm apparently the first person to ever extract cars? if it bothers you a ton i'd suggest just buying these for NPC families so you don't have to look at them much.
