April & May Let Feedback Ring
Hello all. Just quick update to say our April 4 lineup has changed. Most excellent DC trio The Caribbean, fresh off the release of their expectedly awesome LP Moon Sickness, will be replacing Museum Mouth, who are moving to our May 2 show!
So, as a refresher, here's what April looks like:
The Caribbean
Wichita Falls (album release!)
Naked Naps
We'll get you more details on that May show shortly. But Museum Mouth at Legends is gonna be a don't miss! Just like our April date is a don't miss!
Hell, our equally don't-miss March show with Midnight Plus One, Positive No and Static Is A City is a week away!

Geez, this is embarrassingly exciting.

Pleased to announce that our first release on Antiquated Technology is now available. Sunburst +1 is the second release from Windsor, VT’s Carton. Sunburst was recorded and engineered last winter at Easthampton, MA’s Sonelab Studios by Justin Pizzoferrato and mastered by Mark Alan Miller. These songs were originally released digitally by What Doth Life and as a split with Alpha Cop as a part of the Negative Fun Records Home and Home series.

This release is limited to 60 copies and will be available for a minimal shipping and handling charge via the Antiquated Technology Bandcamp page.

Our next two releases are being prepped to see the light of day in March.
LFR-002 is an exploration from Alpha Cop drummer Brian J Donohoe, operating under the name “The Shoes, The Dress”. Possum Faces is a two act, experimental collage rooted in percussion, noise and found sound.
LFR-003 comes from the prolific Vermont post/rock musician Luke Chrisinger. With over 100 albums under his belt, Chrisinger recently fronted Windsor VT’s excellent Giant Travel Avant Garde. We are excited to offer a tape release of some of his personally handpicked tracks to help kick off out label.
Read more about Luke Chrisinger here: http://www.lukechrisingerarchive.org/
LFR-004 is still in the works. Look for news on that release shortly.

Let Feedback Ring Spring Schedule Announced
Fri, Feb 6: No Love, Totally Slow, Black Market // 7pm, free
Fri, March 7: Midnight Plus One, Positive No, Static is a City // 7pm
Fri, April 4: Museum Mouth, Naked Naps, Wichita Falls // 7pm
Let Feedback Ring, the upstart show series concocted and booked by Negative Fun Records co-owner Chris DeFusco and local writer and musician Corbie Hill, continues its run with a February punk show at Legends Nightclub in Raleigh. The longstanding LGBT club has been the show series' home since a September 2013 Hopscotch day party so well-attended it all but sold the venue out of beer by mid-afternoon. The showcases, which coincide with First Friday events, go down in Spotlight Theater, a dignified little theater typically the home of drag shows.
February's bill features No Love (Raleigh), Totally Slow (Greensboro), and Black Market (Charlotte), three bands drawing from distinct corners of the punk world.

No Love, who are currently working on their debut LP, offers a darker take on pop-punk in a rare Raleigh appearance. Charlotte's Black Market make their second Let Feedback Ring appearance. The Charlotte band recently issued a digital release on Death To False Hope Records, as well as a split 7” with Red Money on their own HIP Collective Records. Greensboro’s Totally Slow, an anthemic pop-punk outfit featuring former members of North Carolina punk legends Eagle Bravo and Rights Reserved, released their debut self-titled LP in late 2013.
Spring shows include a March 7 date featuring Carrboro all-star psych-rock band Midnight Plus One and the first North Carolina appearance from Richmond's Positive No. Positive No released their debut EP, Via Florum, last fall to rave reviews and their single, "Georgia Purchase Agreement," was showcased on RollingStone.com.  Positive No counts former members of Dahlia Seed, Thao And The Get Down Stay Down, and Fulflej in their impressive lineage. Rounding out the bill is the live debut of Static Is A City, a new Raleigh post-hardcore outfit featuring former members of Dahlia Seed and Milemarker.
April 4 sees Wilmington-via-Southport jubilant pop-punks Museum Mouth joined by Raleigh house show heroes Naked Naps. This bill will also serve as the LP release show for the Chapel Hill introversion-rock of Wichita Falls.
