DESCRIPTION: Nomiani replies, "Tell me about some other gods." Pliyo-Fourth continues with their tales of Fress gods. "Some other gods? Certainly! You see, when Fress need more good luck, they seek out the Speaking Dark. 

The Speaking Dark swims through the oceans of the night sky, and looks down on the land through the stars' light.

From this vantage point, foa can see the very balance of luck itself, both good and bad. 

When we're unsure of what to do, we ask The Speaking Dark what actions will bring us good luck. If we're lucky, the answer comes in our reflections in the water during darkest night." CHOOSE ONE: 1) "Tell me about some other gods." 2) "Can I ask the Speaking Dark for good luck?" 3) "Tell me some other things about your culture."

DESCRIPTION:

Nomiani replies, "Tell me about your gods." Pliyo-Fourth seems pleased with this, and begins their first story: "Yes, happily! Our favorite is Wama, the Watermaker! 

In ancient times, the land was hot and dry, and the air was full of choking smoke. Fress struggled to live in such a world. 

It's said that Wama, sick of the heat, stepped into the ocean to cool down. Foan enormous size caused the waters to rise up and flood the land, filling the dry spaces with water and salt. 

Foan happy splashes to cool down sent more water into the sky, which came down as rain and banished the smoke. 

The happiness of Wama brought water to all the land, and with it new plants to grow. Now, we Fress thrive in the waves sent by the Watermaker!"

CHOOSE ONE: 1) "Tell me about some other gods." 2) "How do you know this story?" 3) "Tell me some other things about your culture."

Pliyo-Fourth seems to take this as an invitation to share stories. "My answers depend on your questions! I do love sharing stories…would you like to hear about our gods, or our village, or traditions?" CHOOSE ONE: 1) "Tell me about your gods." 2) "Tell me about the village." 3) "Tell me some traditions." 4) "I need different answers."

DESCRIPTION: Nomiani elects to approach the other, gray Fress, surrounded by what appear to be attentive young ones. They give a warm and cheerful wave, and greet them: "Oh, hello! Fat luck to you, visitor Mayli! I am Pliyo-Fourth. What brings you to our village?" CHOOSE ONE: 1) "I'm looking for some items." 2) "I'd just like to talk to you." 3) "I'm looking for answers."

DESCRIPTION: Nomiani replies, "I'll help if it'll get me answers." Sowgil-Third seems happy with this response, and says, "Great! Come find me when you've found everything…I'll be around here!" Nomiani then treks back to the village entrance, where they once again have a few places they can look into.  CHOOSE ONE: 1) Talk to the shopkeeper 2) Talk to the older gray Fress 3) Poke around the village more

DESCRIPTION: Nomiani says, "Sorry, I'm just trying to figure things out myself."

Sowgil gestures to Nomiani and says, "See? Just trying to help out a confused friend!"

Tenti seems a little bit exasperated, but relents. "Or confuse them even more…but fine."

CHOOSE ONE: 1) "I don't really want to be confused more..." 2) "I'll help if it'll get me answers."

DESCRIPTION: Nomiani asks, "What is it?" Tenti-first turns with a patient smile and says, "Not a concern for you, Mayli." Tenti looks at Sowgil with a bit more knowing admonishment. "But Sowgil does have a habit of trying to get "wild mind" more often than is good for din."

CHOOSE ONE: 1) "Don't worry, I'm sure Sowgil will be good!" 2) "I don't really understand." 3) "Sorry, I'm just trying to figure things out myself."

DESCRIPTION: Nomiani replies, “No, I’m still looking for them.” Sowgil-Third says,  “Understood! You know, you might have luck finding some of them around the village here…” They then notice Tenti-First tapping their foot and raising an eyebrow at them. “What?” Sowgil says with a shrug.

CHOOSE ONE: 1) "Okay, I'll look around some more then." 2) "What is it?"

Nomiani says, “Sorry! My name is Nomiani.” 

Sowgil replies with, “Interesting name, that! I’m Sowgil-Third…this is my mate, Tenti-First.” Tenti looks a bit exasperated, and adds, “Did di invite you here for moontalk?” CHOOSE ONE: 1) "...Third? Are there two more Sowgils?" 2) "I think we were going to talk about the moon, yeah..."

The older Fress shrugs it off. “Heh, well, don’t have to worry about that here! Fress aren’t so prickly.”

The other Mayli, who’s been impatiently tapping their foot during the conversation, finally speaks up. “Sowgil? Who’s this Mayli?” CHOOSE ONE: 1) "Sorry! My name is Nomiani." 2) "Oh, you're Sowgil? I never did learn your name."

DESCRIPTION: Nomiani approaches the Fress they recognize, who is sitting outside a hut, with another Fress nearby. The Fress waves to Nomiani and says, "Hello again and welcome, friend! I see you got some Mayli rings! Find anything else interesting?" CHOOSE ONE: 1) "Not the things you asked for, sorry." 2) "Yes, but it sort of got me in trouble." 3) "I'm still looking around, actually."

DESCRIPTION: Nomiani decides to enter the village square. There’s a Fress at a nearby booth that looks similar to the shopkeep in the Mayli city. There's also the Fress they met earlier, and a much older matriarch surrounded by young Fress, sitting close to a communal cooking fire. CHOOSE ONE: 1) Talk to the shopkeeper 2) Approach the gray older Fress 3) Approach the Fress they recognize
